every time i open firefox it asks me for password, weather it's just google seach or a website i have cookies saved and password already active.

i have been useing it now for years in the hope somebody elese is suffering the same as me and would bring it to your attention but no hence reson i am now haveing to ask for your help.

please make it only ask for password once and not pop up every single time i use firefox 50 to a 100 times daly.

i need master password incase i am hacked or a m8 visitor gets noisy and trys lookin at my passwords lol

please please please fix this i would really really appreciate it

I just installed a fresh copy of Windows 11 and last Firefox, and get some weird rendering of letters on some websites. It seems that the end of a letter is bolded so to speak (screenshot attached). Also, there is an unnatural widening between the lines of text on the same websites (screenshot attached). This does not appear on other browsers. What can I do to correct it?

I use the "Forget" button regularly. Recently, I've noticed that complete browser history (cookies and all) are all being deleted even though only 5 minutes or two hours are selected.

Any others having this issue? Doug

Scroll wheel not working at all -but only on firefox (windows 11) I tried disabling the smooth scrolling option in logi options+ app but the issue was not resloved

The issue only resolves when starting Firefox Browser with the Troubleshooting mode, any idea what is the cause of this problem, and how can I fix it?

Summary Reset a site or domain to be no longer associated with a Container

I accidentally assigned my search-engine domain to a container. As a result every single search I perform from the URL bar asks if I'd like to open it in the assigned container instead. I'll select 'Remember my decision, open in current tab' (the current tab being the base no-container Firefox user). Unfortunately this does nothing.

I've searched through the settings and options and I've found no option to get an overview of the domain configurations or to reset a certain site. I've read suggestions online to delete the container, but this isn't an acceptable approach to the problem.

Since Firefox 109 and 110 also you can not login to hidive.com. It just loads a blank page(empty source) but not logged in. Firefox Developer Edition does work. 110 and 111. Tested on both linux and windows without extensions and tested with tracking prevention turned off. I reported this after 109, but I could not find the report.

THERE IS NO EXCUSE OR REASON FOR MOZILLA'S FAILURE TO PROVIDE ACTUAL CUSTOMER SUPPORT FROM AN EMPLOYEE.

If I use a Private Window and start typing a URL of a site I visited before in Private, right after I type the first 2 of 9 letters, it fills in the other 7 letters.

Is Firefox remembering that site or is my default search engine, DuckDuckGo?

my scroll wheel stopped working on firefox, so i launched in safe mode and my scroll wheel was perfectly fine so i disabled all of my addons but it still doesn't work

I subscribe to Gardener's World which provides links to videos for some topics. Clicking on some links gives an instant view of the target page but immediately reverts to a blank screen, although the link address is still shown. I was not sure whether to report this as a crash, but most of the time I'm trouble-free.

All typed text appears blue until you break it in some ways like pressing the spacebar or moving the keyboard cursor with the arrow keys. It happens at the firefox search bar as well, and search suggestions and autocomplete doesn't work whenever it happens.

My mouse wheel does work when I try to scroll in any page. The scroll wheel works when I am scrolling though tabs but only if I am holding Shift or Ctrl. It also seems to work just fine in troubleshooting mode, but nothing else seems to work. This problem started just after Firefox updated to the newest version.

Hello, I have two questions about private windows.

First, on the Home tab it says: "Firefox clears your search and browsing history when you close all private windows"

but what happens if Firefox crashes during a private window session? Will some remnants of your activity remain in some files, as Firefox did not have the chance to clear data as it normally would when closed gracefully?

Second question, when in private mode, does Firefox write data to either favicons.sqlite or places.sqlite (even if only temporarily)?

The blocks where code should be displayed like on screen and on stackoverflow displayed in a weird manner : replaced with [Object object] i don't have any extensions that might cause that

When playing any youtube video in full screen, all I get is a black screen. Issue does not appear in private mode, firefox developer build or chrome. Other sites ex. go pro media plays videos in full screen without any problems

I can't scroll with the mouse wheel in Firefox. It works fine in other browsers and programs.

If I switch to Safe Mode, the scrolling wheel works. But if I switch back to normal mode, the wheel does not work again.

I tried to switch off and switch on "Use autoscrolling" and "Use smooth scrolling" settings, but it didn't help.

Unfortunately, "Refresh Firefox…" and reinstalling browser completely did not help.

I am at a loss, please help.

the latest firefox update has disabled scrolling/ i have tried changing the settings in firefox and no changes make any difference. scrolling works on other apps perfectly fine.
