After exporting bookmarks.html from Ffox on old computer, importing it to Ffox on the new one, all good, except that bookmarks toolbar shows on the imported list but doesn't display as toolbar.

The computers bookmarks after September 28 and before December 1 2023 are missing as well as the internet history in the mozilla browser only. I see no possible way of restoring them. I see no way to contact mozilla directly about this either.

i WAS BROWSING AND GOING THROUGH SOME OF MY FIREFOX FAVORITES AND I highlighted a FEW (NOT JUST ONE!) and clicked the delete button on accident. Is there any way of getting them back? I havent backed up a copy of them recently eitherr. Now Im all bumbed out!! :-(

I installed firefox on a new pc and after loggin in and syncing my account all my pinned sites on the firefox homepage disappeared. Is there any way i can get them back?

Been trying to retrieved misplaced bookmark folders not bookmarks themselves in the Bookmarks Library with no success even going down several sub-levels; Would be nice if there were a search function, but will take a step-by-step solution. Thanks!

I asked this same question yesterday and a little while later, the horizontal bookmarks toolbar "magically" appeared. Now the toolbar is gone again. How can I find it and get it to stay at the top of my page? (I'm an 80-year-old granny/computer-dummy.) Thanks in advance for any help.

I thought I had two different accounts. Home, with my personal email and work, with my work email. My work computer crashed a few months ago, and out IT department was able to recover all my bookmarks, but it wasn't easy, so I was told. I decided to do what I do at home and that was to create an account for work, which I did. I now have an account for home with it's own bookmarks, and email, and a work account with it's own bookmarks and totally different email. I recently got a work phone. In the process of setting it up I synced it up with my work account. when I came home tonight I got online and all my work bookmarks were on my home computer. How did this happen? Now I don't have my home bookmarks. I tried signing out and signing back in with my home account, but no luck. This is very frustrating especially since they are two totally different accounts. SO, how do I get my home bookmarks back on my home computer? Thanks

Hello, I recently downloaded Firefox and transferred all my data from Chrome to Firefox. Everything transferred well and for a day all my bookmarks were visible at the top of the page. Then I turned off bookmarks to only show on a new tab, and then later realized that the bookmarks were not being displayed on the new tab. And even when I turned bookmarks to always show on all tabs the bar is there but nothing is displayed. All my bookmarks are still in the Firefox Library and I can save new bookmarks to the library, but the bookmarks bar above still remains empty. Clicking Import and Backup in the Library and clicking Restore hasn't returned the bookmarks to the bookmarks bar. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I used to be able to access all bookmarks from the Library icon on the address toolbar. Now, it only shows a list of what it labels "recent bookmarks" (the bookmarks shown are really not recent). I would like to be able to open the Library and access all bookmarks, which is the way it used to work. I will attach a screen shot to illustrate what I mean.

After running Import and Backup and selecting the date I want, the left column in the Library shows History, Downloads, Tags, and All Bookmarks. Under All Bookmarks, those folders have all the stuff I want in my Firefox browser. Currently my browser shows the folder names, but the folders are empty. How do I get the left column into my browser?

I reinstalled my computer from scratch with Windows 11, before this reinstallation I had Windows 10. Now I noticed that with the newest Firefox version 109 (that I also had before with Windows 10) and Windows 11 my multirow bookmarks toolbar doesn´t work anymore. Before the reinstallation it worked with the following code:

I already tried some other codes that I found in the internet but none of them worked. I have this code in the file userChrome.css, this file is in a chrome folder and this folder is in my profile folder. Can anybody tell me what I have to do to make the multirow bookmarks toolbar working again?

hello! hope you are doing well, I recently got this problem where the bookmark bar does not appear on my browser even though it is on the "always show" option, it appears when I first open the browser, but once I enter any site, it disappears again, even on new tabs, and when I try different options for the BM, it makes it appear for one use only. I tried looking for solutions on the internet but to no avail. can you help me fix it? thank you in advance!

I have noticed 3 new bookmarks I never added for 2 websites I've visited recently show up in my bookmarks bar.

I did a scan with Avast One (free version) and it says no viruses or malware found

Any thoughts on what's adding the 3 bookmarks?

I understand that the "Bookmarks Menu" Icon (see attached pic) can be used and then: 2) "Manage Bookmarks" can be selected (to get to the "Manage Bookmarks" <selection> screen).

But is there a 1-click Icon solution to access "Manage Bookmarks" (other than the keyboard one)? Or is there a link address that would access the "Manage Bookmarks" screen directly?

Hi, I just downloaded a Firefox browser, but on the left of bookmarks toolbar there is an "Import bookmarks" that I can't get rid of. I've seen a couple other things that say it's like removing a bookmark, but that doesn't work for me. I've looked and can't find how to remove it. Any suggestions are appreciated!
