Hi, I use a PC under W7.

with FF88, the zone of the activated/unused tabs was above the screen, below the listed tabs bar (like in the snapshot).

With FF89, this zone is now empty (background in blue in the snapshot) and only the active tab appears below the window (on the right down in the snapshot for the current tab).

It makes FF simply unusable ! Need your help to come back to a normal situation : all tabs in the blue bar where they were.

After update firefox 89, I cannot input into search box. Text will only appear in the toolbar URL input box. Please help me fix it? Google is my default search engine.

I has taken many years of work for Mozilla to create a usable internet browser, and now you have taken that away. How was the Person who decided to put the search option into the URL. This is not only unsafe, but makes the Start page, useless. When I type in the Search I want to see it being input into the middle of my Start page like it has always been done, not waist a whole page for nothing. It is not only a stupid idea, it is also a waist of the text that us used to create the Start page. I would also like to note that many of the mobile, tablet and other computers all use this method, and it is rubbish and removes the point of having a page with a search text box in the middle.

for god sake can you please stop trying so hard to be the best of the best, Firefox has always been the best, and you seem to be trying your best to destroy it for many many users.

I'll get straight to the point whenever i download anything i cannot browse other websites, i cannot even google anything if i do the site says no internet and the download freezes and resumes after sometime (the down loader is occupying the majority of the bandwidth and not sharing with other sites i also have more bandwidth remaining but did not help with this problem) (i have not installed any download manager add-on) (its not a site specific issue)

Note: This was not a problem in previous versions of mozilla (before updating to 89.0 i could download and browse at the same time without any issue)

Also is there a way to change the tabs background color, pale blue is not my style especially in dark theme the UI feels sleeker in this update i like it

How to get back single-line page spines? The Firefox 87.0 or 88.0 have single-line page spines. The firefox 89.0 have double-line and double-height page spines. How decrese spines height back?

When I create a New Tab it no longer comes with an active search bar in the centre of the screen in addition to the one at the top of screen. How can I get it back?

Installation in German language under W10 Home 64bit. VCRUNTIME140_1.dll not found, installation interrupted. Firefox seems to be installed, but totally unresponsive (no files, no websites, not even parameters). Any known measures? Thanks!

My Firefox updated last week and it was all fine cause I only used it for work. Today I wanted to open Facebook and it says

"www.facebook.com. SSL_ERROR_DC_EXPIRED"

I have googled the problem - seems I am not the only one having it - and I have tried every suggested fix but I still can not open the website and it's frankly pissing me off.

I like to decide for myself what I want to visit or not and I don't need a Firefox nanny.

Can anyony help me how solve this? Or can I uninstall and roll back this latest - but certainly not greatest - update. I also don't like the semi sheer top of the new update. I preferred it not being there.

I do not like to use the ADDRESS BAR for search and navigation. I prefer to use the GOOGLE SEARCH field. I am visually impaired, and cannot easily read the tiny font in the search bar, whereas I can ZOOM / expand the GOOGLE SEARCH field. PLEASE stop forcing users to jump to the ADDRESS BAR when they type into the GOOGLE SEARCH field. OR you will “force” me to jump away from FIREFOX. Alternately, provide a means to EXPAND THE FONT in the ADDRESS BAR.

I am probably not tech savvy enough to adequately explain my problem.

My desktop has the latest version of Firefox and suddenly I can no longer log into my email from the AT&T homepage. When I attempt to log into my mail account I can select my user name and PW but when I press enter all that is displayed is a broken spinning blue circle that never stops and I cannot access my e-mail. Pretty sure there is a preference setting in privacy & security that I screwed up somehow.

Have disabled all add on's and security software but still get same result.

Is there a way to reset Firefox to the original install defaults without doing a complete Firefox removal and starting over from scratch? I have Chrome on my machine and email works fine. So am pretty sure I did something in settings that is causing my problem.

I often use shortcuts on youtube like f to fullscreen, k to pause, ; to slow, : to speed up but since recently any button (unless I'm in a text window) is opening the find option and it's driving me crazy cause I can't find it anywhere in the options or a fix to the problem! I cannot use shortcuts for youtube anymore and its really annoying

Just today 7/17/21 my bookmarks toolbar disappeared but I was able to restore it. But all the saved bookmarks in the bookmarks toolbar that always appeared in Bookmarks Toolbar don't appear in the Bookmarks Toolbar column. AND when I try to add bookmarks to the bookmark toolbar a circle with a line through it appear preventing me from adding bookmarks. Couldn't find any solutions online in Firefox Help websites. Does anyone have a solution to restore saved bookmarks to bookmarks toolbar and add new bookmarks like I have always done? Thank you.

There's no built-in way to bookmark all open tabs across all windows at once, but Firefox does have a feature to bookmark all of the tabs in the current window to a new folder. The shortcut is Ctrl+Shift+D, or you can find it on

classic Bookmarks menu on the optional menu bar optional Bookmarks menu button for the main toolbar Does that feature work? If not, is there any error message?

Are you still able to add one bookmarks manually, for example by clicking the star icon in the address bar? If that doesn't work, it can indicate a database problem (more details if needed).

I will also add that the "Settings" menu does not open! Settings, formerly called Options, should open an internal page in a new tab. If you type or paste the address about:preferences into the address bar and press Enter, can Firefox show the page?

"Reset firefox completely" = data loss Even moving the profile and trying to restore it always ends with the same problem, still nothing works, how to save all 1000 tabs to a text file, even the best of the best ways fails, because after saving it is 0KB, no data !!!

I am running the latest Portable version of FF. Although DuckDuckGo is installed, and my requirement is that for searching, opening new tabs after the first "proper screen" I get this blue FF page. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of it please?
