More of a comment. Firefox is the only browser I have used. Love it! Many important bookmarks to easily navigate. Broser update messed up bookmarks and took me hours to get back! Found. Save key and/or password! Learned a lot about profiles and Firefox along the way. Ugh!

In this version, do I still have another account and password from other application that already saved before in the past version?

On Windows 10 with 64-bit Firefox, after updating from version 144 to 145, some local HTTP-only servers stopped working and became inaccessible. When I enter http://<local server name>, after a few seconds it automatically changes to https://<local server name>, and since no HTTPS service is running, it ends with a “Server not found” page. It seems to be related to DNS — accessing http://<IP address> works fine.

I tried a clean installation with a new user profile, but it didn’t help. Downgrading to version 144 fixes the problem, but at the cost of losing the user profile (which is a disaster). I also tried to check the HTTP-only settings (which I’ve never modified), but that didn’t help either.

Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Today as I got to work (Windows 11 machine), I had a suspicious Firefox.exe file on my Desktop, it was not a shortcut, but exe file. I did a little investigation and research, and I noticed some difference from Program Files exe file and Firefox.exe on my Desktop:

I scanned both files in VirusTotal, and they both seems clean and legit

Can somebody assure me that both files are OK, and can somebody explain to me why Firefox.exe appeared on my Desktop, and why is there difference between two files in size, Copyright info, and original filename ?

Ten sam problem występuje, gdy muszę potwierdzić logowanie do innych stron internetowych za pomocą konta Google. Po prostu nie da się nigdzie zalogować. Ten problem nie występuje w innych wyszukiwarkach. Pliki cookie są włączone. 25.12.2023 ten problem nie istniał. Próbowałam przywrócić Firefox na wcześniejszą datę instalacji, ale to nic nie dało. Rozszerzenia i wtyczki odinstalowałam. When I try to "sign into" Firefox using Google Chrome, I see the following message: "This account is not active. Please contact an administrator if you believe this is an error." I do not know how to contact an administrator. I do not see this statement when I sign into Firefox using my Firefox browser. Maybe (I think) the issue is that I need to use my Firefox browser to "sign into" Firefox (and, not Google Chrome). Thank you for your comments about this.

I read that your new CEO is pro use of AI and doubling down on wanting to implement it. Meanwhile the literal main reason most people I know to use Firefox is that it doesn't have AI slopware. I really urge anyone capable of doing so to help reconsider a decision that is going to let down long-time users such as myself. It is getting harder and harder to avoid data leaks and security risks, and until now, Firefox seemed to have been the best browser for these purposes. I don't want to switch, but if you do this, I will have to.

"Adblock" cannot be found in the PROGRAMS listed on my PC, so no way to "uninstall" your uninvited, unwelcome, unneeded bit of buy-this-buy-this-buy-this angling. 3. GET RID OF IT FROM SHOWING UP ON MY COMPUTER SCREEN WHEN I OPEN FIREFOX! NOW!

I now have to right click the password field and select which password I want to use, this is cumbersome and counterintuitive, there is NO hint that password autofill is still there, WTF? if you're dead set on this "new way", how can I have the old way back?
