How do stop multiple tabs from starting up is it because i go from one page to another with out losing the tabs please help there are multiple tabs running

I enabled "Open Recent Taps At Startup" but it doesn't work all the time sometimes i close the browser and then open again at some time later or maybe a little bit after i closed it and the taps are gone, i actually don't know what is wrong with it, does someone know a fix to this issue ?

Note: This actually does not happen a lot but when it does it becomes very frustrating especially when i closed the browser for a long time and i open it again i find that all of the taps are gone and it becomes very hard to remember what i had opened since the last time

When I am editing an online excel and want to use the right click to insert a column, there is also two windows poping out, one for me to edit the excel, and the other useless one for some functions () of the firefox browser, as you can see from the screen shot. I cannot find the solution to prevent the unnecessary dialogue poping out. Could you please help me with problem?

I leave a number of tabs open when I shut down my Mac so I can quickly get back to them when I next open Firefox.

I've noticed a problem for a long time where, after the next boot, if I click a link before I've opened Firefox, it simply restores the previous tabs, rather than also handling the link click.

Is this intentional, and is there a way around it?

At the moment I'm using v111.0.1.

so i had over a 100 tabs open and i closed firefox as normal but for some reason it didnt save the tabs like it normally does and i tried to find a restoration button but it doesn't let me press it and it doesnt show the tabs in my history i tried to recover using jsonlz4 files but they do not have the contents either i tried recuva to maybe recover it if it was deleted but nothing now i am really sad that i lost everything please tell me there is someway to get my session from 6.4.2023 back

It always says sent but never appears, it works fine the other way around but the times I want to send tabs from my phone to the computer I have to do some other convoluted method because this built in option doesn't work at all.

I'm using Firefox 110.0 on a new M2 Mac running Apple's OS Ventura. For some reason the tab bar will randomly scroll all of the tabs to the right. I've tried to duplicate the problem but nothing I've tried seems to trigger it. The browser window just seems to do this on it's own and often. I've tried a google search with one solution from 2015, directing me to the Tools drop down and an "Option" selection. I tried that and I can't find any "option" in the Tools menu or preferences that can correct this issue. Thank you in advance for your time looking at my problem.

I was exploring with new windows 11 short cut keys and suddenly the Firefox browser page changed. It took awhile to get it back to view but the original did pop up. It would switch back and forth using the windows key and a left arrow. When I shut down the computer and hours later started up, the pinned tabs were all gone and I could not retrieve them by history or any other function. After fiddling around for a few hours I gave up. Is there no way to save a page to go back to it, maybe even weeks later? I had been doing alot of research over the weeks and saved (pinned) tabs that were helpful.

The pinned tabs in the past were working great so I had come to expect to see them every time I opened the browser. Then yesterday, BOOM! Gone!

I sent a question about my pinned tabs disappearing and mentioned that I had been exploring with windows 11 shortcut keys. My problem is not solved but I can inform you which shortcuts led to the issue of losing the pinned tabs. I was using WINDOWS KEY+D which shows/hides apps on the desktop, but I was using it during browser use. Then I was using WINDOWS KEY+CONTROL+D and that is when things seemed to get confusing. Ultimately, my original browser opening page disappeared and did come back but not when re-starting my computer. There was NO browser history that brought back the page. There was NO "last session" that brought back the page.

After update on 4/12/23, font size on tabs, desk top, menu bars, drop down boxes, etc became very small. How do I restore these font sizes? I've poked around settings to no avail.

After a windows 10 update from 13.04.2023 and 14.04.2023 the function to drag and drop a tab to open it in a new window does not work anymore. relevant windows updates installed on these dates: KB5025221 KB2267602 KB890830

Whenever I open a new window, it'll open a window that I had previously closed (and not a fresh window). I'll close a window with tons of tabs because I'm finished with them, but whenever I then open a new window, all the old tabs re-populate. How do I change this setting?

For some reason my tabs won't preview the web page anymore even on my old phone it didn't do it so I need help with that please. Just a side note it displays a preview for a few days then it disappears to gray background Thank you!

Browser recent tabs are reopening to blank page. Not all do it but out of six or eight there will be three or four that are blank pages. Just white pages. It doesn't seem able to find the URL again and reopen the tab or it lost the tab data.

When a new page or tab opens there a large blank spaces after the header word " advertising". Why is this happening? Too much wasted screen space.

I can't make sense of this code. How to I eliminate the wasted space?

Tabs in Firefox browser no longer scroll, have gone through settings on both browser and device (Samsung Galaxy A22 5G) and can find no fix, have run AVG anti virus scan, nothing,have deleted and reinstalled with complete power off and restart- no joy! Having to use different browser! Please help!

I recently updated my Mac OS to Ventura 13.3.1 and prior to the update, I had two Firefox windows open with multiple tabs. After the update, only the login tab was open in one window and everything else was gone. No, I didn't do a backup before the update. Any way to retrieve those lost tabs? I am including a screenshot taken before the update...
