I cannot open a You Tube videa yjat's potrayrd on my IMac;s scree whin usinf Firefow. I Get a blam You Tibe page what includes yjr word "Sunscribe:. I reied hittig Sunscribe and still no response. I do not have this problem usinf other Browsers.

I tried to log in to NextDoor, which was supposed to send by email a 6-digit login code for me to enter. I tried at least twice, and no code was received. I'm using Firefox 128.12.0esr on a Mac running Catalina 10.15.7. Logging in to NextDoor from a Brave browser worked just fine, including getting the code by email. How to I fix this?

Ever since the most recent firefox update, my screensaver doesn't appear after laptop has been idle. According to the Mac Activity monitor, Firefox is blocking it. I've tried quitting Firefox and restarting, and also restarting laptop, but no solution.

i attempted to update my Firefox this morning and the app froze and refused to reopen after multiple attempts. i decided to throw the app away and re-download firefox on my desktop, but now have no access to my bookmarks, open tabs (history) and passwords. please assist!

I can't remember my Firefox log in ID and password and I need to sign in. At the sign in window for Firefox there is not option to click on "forgot password" or "forgot User ID" . Does any one know how to recover that information?

Yesterday I opened Firefox and found that it had completed a factory reset (without asking me) and I have lost all of my data and settings, particularly from plugins (Simple Tab Groups for example). I have a folder called Old Firefox Data on my desktop, and I have copied the files into the profiles folder from about:support, but I have still lost all my settings.

This is extremely frustrating and will take a lot of time to get everything back to how it was. Please let me know how to restore to my old state.

The title sums it up. • Does anyone know why FFx , when opened following my MacBook Pro Restart, opens without any of my selected Tabs AND then provides no History of my last FFx session??? • Hours of Internet research, vanishes! It really p--- me off! • This has happened at least 4 or 5 times in the past year to year and a half and on both computers. And I do stay on top of my FFx updates. If a Notice appears on my screen, I usually install within 24 hours. • This last time (today) I had previously updated FFx a few hours earlier and then I needed to run a Restart of the computer.... • MBPro fires back up, I open FFx and nothing in the Tabs Header. GONE! Poof! • I go to Browsing History - no Restore Previous Session (by any other term) • Doesn't it seem logical? THAT fundamental function would be right there, top of the list?!?! • HERE IS THE KICKER: In FFx I opened the FFx "About Firefox" menu and noticed it says, amidst all the provided information, "Failed to check for updates." • BS! It was following the update that FFx Tabs vanished! How can it insert that statement? Was I suppose to do something other than click "OKAY". And then the new version begins when FFx is reopened. Right? • If this comes down to the older OS on the computer (10.13.6) I should not be receiving update notices from FFx. If so, a notice of, "Your Mac's OS is too old to run FireFox's latest version" would be what I should receive. So, as you can tell, I'm frustrated and baffled at the same time. Any thoughts? What can I do about excessive memory usage by Firefox? I'm about ready to remove from my system. I get memory availability alerts from my very up to date Mac system only when Firefox is active. I've been with you for a LONG time so hate to leave but this is not a good situation.

I have "Always ask you where to save files" checked in my preferences, yet Firefox saves downloads to my Downloads folder without asking. This was working in the past, it's only recently broken.

I'm using Firefox 140.0.2 on Mac (aarch64).

How the heck is there still no way to modify Firefox hotkeys without an extension? Firefox must have updated because I can no longer use Command-Option-Up/Down to navigate between servers on discord.com. Instead those keys are now reserved by Firefox for navigating tabs (which seems superlative, there are already MULTIPLE other hotkey combos for switching tabs.) Absolutely bonkers that there's no user-friendly way to modify these hotkeys.

Previous versions of Firefox turned a link from blue to purple once it had been clicked. The new update does not seem to have this feature. I would like it back, or an option to turn it on again.
