Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to www.google.ca. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR

   The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
   Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

As if this morning, all my bookmarks have disappeared. I did a Firefox search for the problem and got a page titled "My bookmarks have disappeared". I followed the directions:

1. Click on the menu button to open the menu panel. Click Bookmarks and then click the Manage Bookmarks bar at the bottom. 2. In the Library window, click the Import and Backup button and then select Restore. 3. Select the backup you want to restore from the list of dated automatic backups.

   You can also select Choose File...to restore bookmarks from the manual backup, if you created one.

4. After confirming your choice, the bookmarks from the backup you selected will be restored.

The backup was not restored. I need help.

I lost all my comments I think it was before the last upgrade, I can see them perfectly on Microsoft edge but not here and not on IE. I tried some of the old posts changing themes to no avail, and I am currently in troubleshooting mode and still nothing. Is their a fix? I do not want to use the M.E. crap. Thanx!

I set an older website to forward to my new website. This worked and then stopped working. Both sites are GoDaddy hosted. GoDaddy teach person was did not have the forwarding problem. Private window in Firefox didn't help. Clearing cash, etc. didn't help. Edge worked with problems. Safari on my phone worked without problems. My Firefox is all up to date.

GoDaddy googled this problem and said a solution might require a change of Firefox "rules," but I have no idea what that might mean.

Any help is appreciated. Firefox is my browser always.

I want to be able to close Firefox and have all cookies and site data removed - but I want to keep my history.

Checking the box to do just this in 'Privacy & Security' will delete cookies when I close Firefox - but all the site data remains. Under 'History' I have 'use custom settings' enabled, as well as 'remember browsing and download history'. I've tried various permutations of this, but can't get it to do what Firefox says it will.

Being able to do this is one of the main reason I want to use Firefox, but it doesn't seem to work. I have to manually delete both cookies and site data.

Any suggestions to try to delete cookies and site data when Firefox closes, but remember history?

my saved password can be easily seen by other person who use my laptop,when they click on password .There is no extra layer of security like fingerprint or otp to access the saved password.

I was on the PCH site & it was working just fine, then suddenly PCH site stopped working with warning of Access denied. Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.pch.com/pchvip/instantwin-path/5k-vip-elite-experience" on this server. Reference #18.77b4117.1649995883.20189f6f

This problem happened once before on Firefox & then access was restored the next day. This is not a problem with the PCH site as I have accessed the site for years on many different servers. It is a problem with Firefox & it happened once before a few months ago. I don't know why this problem keeps occurring, but please fix this problem so I can access PCH on your server again! Thank you.

i think my mozilla had recently an update. now all my bookmarks from Years back all gone!!!! thanks!!!! i tried to restore it but it says: unable to.... NOW WHAT????

I am trying to debug an application which places a fairly large JSON string (>20kb) into a key-value in the Indexed DB. Since the string is very long, it is truncated by the DevTools UI, which means that the JSON can no longer be parsed in the UI.

Is there any setting in Firefox that allows me to prevent the UI from truncating long strings?

This is the 8th time I have tried to complete this - as I type I keep getting popups of printer, library, history, etc. "Enter" closes program. Sometimes with several tabs open I can't close any of them. New laptop all but unusable. Problem on all programs

I'm kinda confused right now because windows task manager is saying that firefox is taking 490mb of memory but firefox task manager says that firefox is only taking a little bit of memory. Is this supposed to happen?

I noticed that a setting on the about:config page was removed: the "security.csp.enable" setting. I was using this setting to disable CSP to be able to load local JS scripts on some non-locally hosted sites, for debugging and development, work related purposes.

Was this setting really removed? Is there a way to disable CSP on Firefox on the latest version?

Hi!

The other day I did a clean install of windows on my computer. When I did it, I was able to follow the instructions to refresh Firefox (which gave me the old firefox data folder) that was a great help to keep my bookmarks and passwords. Now, the problem is that I can't add any new bookmarks. When I try to click on the bookmark button nothing happens. I tried following a few troubleshooting threads (this one for example: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/cant-add-change-or-save-bookmarks) but it didn't work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

hi everybody,here's my problem: when i close (clicking on the red cross in windows11) and re-open firefox, it used to actually loads the previous tabs open; all of a sudden it doesn't work anymore,it runs just a new tab ;to be honest it only works if i press the exit option but it's a little annoying and i wonder why it doesn't work if i close the browser window like i use to do before. Everyone else have my same issue ?

Is is possible to unify or synchronize the different password 'instances' that are saved in about:logins if they belong to the same domain?

For example, I change my password in accounts.somesite.com. But about:logins also has an old password saved in the address m.somesite.com, signin.somesite.com, etc. It is the same password for all of them, but they are not automatically changed in about:logins.
