4 PM, November 7, 2023 EST. The "About" page of all YouTube channels suddenly disappeared, whatever the the login status. A compressed version will show up from a channel's home page when clicking on the site description from its Home page. Make things weirder, ~6:15 PM it WAS visible from the Tor browser but started acting the same. I have no ad blockers, or ANY extension installed on any apps, including Firefox/TOR browsers. Updates to both browsers were made prior to this behavior. It may be Google/YouTube's fault but it's becoming frustrating because I prefer Mozilla's browsers over Edge or Chrome.

When I visit the webpages of the Swiss Federal Post Service

    https://www.post.ch/de/kundencenter/onlinedienste

then the scroll bar will not be displayed even though the page is longer than what can be displayed on my screen. As soon as I return to another URL the scroll bar is visible again when needed.

Does anybody know what I can have a scroll bar also for this webpage?

Firefox not responding to general websites on the web (Ex: Amazon.com, etc.). I have several Mozilla-recommended security extensions that may be working against my firefox connecting to these general-in-nature websites.

This is on macOS Sonoma 14.1.2.

If I copy/type anything into the address bar, and press enter, it disappears and the browser remains blank. As does: selecting any website from the address bar dropdown, opening any bookmark, or attempting to open any file. There is no error, so I'm at a loss how to debug this.

Firefox was working on Ventura. Repeatable with Firefox versions 120-115, have not gone back further. Neither troubleshoot mode nor deleting/rebooting/reinstalling changes anything.

YouTube won't start playing in Firefox. No add-ons enabled. The page is fully loaded, but clicking on Play makes nothing.

The fix is to disable "User recommended performance settings" and then disable "User hardware acceleration when available".

The problem is that hardware acceleration is enabled by default. In Edge or Chrome hardware acceleration is also enabled but it won't break YouTube.

Attempting to log-in on Twitch with Firefox Browser - Developer version 122.0b9 (64-bit) is currently not possible, repeated messages are prompted by the Twitch website about "unsupported browser" and to contact browser support to resolve this issue.

Clearing cache, disabling extensions did not work. Using regular Firefox works without issues, only noticed this being an issue after most recent update for Firefox Dev browser.

Side effect as well since update is that any Cloudflare captcha is impossible and all website that use Cloudflare to "authenticate" that I'm human just outright fail or continue indefinitely.

I am using an older OSx version which I am happily using Firefox 78.15 with no issues. Last week I easily attended meetings via Google Meets with no problems to date, until today.

All of a sudden it states that my browser doesnt support it. I have tried all workaround, uninstalled add-ons etc.

Was there a sudden change? This will affact my day to day work if meets no longer works.

I'm not sure what happened because it never broke sites like this before. Sometimes it makes a site impossible to read. I haven't done anything to the browser and this just started happening.

What can I do to get my "upgraded" Firefox to display Facebook correctly. Right now, it is basically a blank page. Edge still displays Facebook correctly. Please try to give instructions that a non-expert can follow.

When watching a video on youtube using firefox the network speed displayed by youtube is significantly slow that when on a chromium browser in this case edge. I have tried prievous suggestions such as disabling Zero Round Trip Time Resumption (0rtt) and tried in troubleshooting mode, neither have an effect. I have attached screenshots from the same video from each browser.
