Hello, I want your help! Because I want to change the appearance of checkboxes to toggles without affecting the other checkboxes (like rounded checkboxes) using userChrome.css in Firefox.

I'm not friend with CSS, because I don't know much about programming. So, please write me a correct CSS code in a comment.

How can i edit the color of text from exiting theme .. as the picture i need an easy way make text with another color like red or orange or at least make black border outline white titles more thicker and or bold ..

My mother is in her seventies and uses a laptop I purchased for her with Windows 10. Microsoft apparently auto-updated her to Windows 11, and now not only is the whole OS different but the scroll bars on everything are so thin that you can barely click on them to drag. They only get fractionally thicker when you hover over them with the cursor. This is not specific to any website.

The issue exists in both Windows and Firefox on her machine since the update, for some reason. She and I both have the latest edition of Firefox, but I am still running Win 10. I managed to find a registry edit to improve the scroll bar in Windows File Manager for her, but this had no impact on the scroll in Firefox. Is there a way to fix this? I could not find a setting for it.

I have attached a side-by-side screen shot of her scroll in Firefox on Google, before and during hover with cursor. I have also included a screen shot of my scroll in Firefox on Reddit, which looks as hers did before the update and is much more user-friendly.

Last Pass stopped working after last firefox update darkened Last Pass icon does not respond. in past clicking the icon would open Last Pass login page. Please help.

I would like to stop the continual suggestion to update my password at login, yet be able to use the saved password at login.

Would you please add this fix?

I use Firefox on my Win11 and Win10 PCs. The Win11 version of Firefox has a button to restore the recent closed button, but the Win10 version doesn't. I wonder why?

I have attempted to follow published instructions on how to manage extensions but the steps described are completely wrong. When I click the extensions icon, it opens the add-ons tab (does not present a list of extensions). There is no "gear" next to any of my extensions; just the on/off button and the .... button.

How can I force an extension to show on the toolbar?

Firefox is up to date (version 120.0).

None of my installed Add-Ons will open. This occurred after running in "Refresh Mode" to correct a different problem.

The prior problem involved not opening bookmarks in a new tab even though the config:about entry was set correctly.

Is it possible there is a config:about entry that prevents any add-on from running?

is there anyway to move things from the more tools section of the three lines/application menu to the tool bar, or to quickly access the more tools section. i use the eye dropper all the time and it feels like there's a faster way to do it i cant seem to find.

I attend Berklee online and the learning environment has videos as well as empty spaces to write answers and text. Whenever I enter the empty space to write text, every press of the spacebar starts and stops multiple videos on that page.

Their strict advice is to use Chrome, but that is the last thing I want to do.

When I use the url calculator, the number will display as expected, e.g. if I type 900-756.07 Firefox displays 143.93 in the url. However, when I try to copy that number, the length of the numbers decimal places changes substantially, e.g. 143.93 turns in 143.92999999999995.

Is there a way to prevent it changing the result?

If you see on the attached image, on the far right side is a LastPass red logo (red box, 3 white dots). I have been using this setup for so long I have no idea how it got there. Can you direct me to where that might be in the settings?

I am trying to re-create the setting on another computer.

Lately, I'm experiencing less that optimal behavior and performance, so I'm building a fresh profile hoping to clean things up.

Like many of us, over the years I've collected and documented a number of tweaks. Before I re-implement them, I was hoping to publish them here to get opinions about their current validity/necessity, effectiveness, safety, detrimental affects, etc.

I've been using the following in userChrome.css for many years

1. menu_close { display: -moz-box !important; }

to restore "Close Tab" in the File menu, based on cor-el's response regarding restoring menu_bookmarkAllTabs here:

This stopped working some time ago and I am finally getting around to asking why.

I do have toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets set to true, and other items in userChrome.css are working.

I am using 121.0 at home and 115.0 ESR at work and see the same (i.e. no "Close Tab"), in both cases on Debian testing. I do see this menu item when using the keyboard to open the File menu.

Any idea why this no longer works?
