I was recently on Reddit and when I went to post a comment I noticed that it went to a user name called Far_Sheepherder_104 ,but they were using my email address , it also showed me that the account was using a Galaxy s20 & I don't have that type of phone and I never have had an s20. Can you please advise me on what I need to do.

They just be stored somewhere, right? I looked in the profile files but of course there is nothing for dictionary there. That would be logical! So where is this little file? I sure don't want to go through adding hundreds of words again for my next install on another machine. And why is the Firefox dictionary so lacking in words? You'd think they'd just copy words over from any existing dictionary. It would be far better than it's present deficient state. All the time I have to add words it doesn't know.

I recently performed a system reset and upon re downloading Firefox I can't seem to find any of my 50+ tabs that I had open previously, all of them I need for one reason or another, history is empty, can anyone please help explain how to get them back in simple steps?

I don't know what happened because the browser was working fine earlier this morning and I didn't do anything to compromise it. I didn't go to settings and change anything. I suspect someone may have 'hacked in,' if that is still even a 'thing.' I think this because when I try to shut off my internet temporarily someone turns it back on and I usually have to 'fight' with whoever that is to get my internet to go off. I tried to ask google a question I wanted the answer to. That question was, how long does the flu last (because I have it or covid.) I also asked how long does covid last. What happened was that spinning thing where it was continually searching but never going to the site. Can you help, please? Thanks in advance if you can.

I have reinstalled and refreshed the app many times, but whenever I try to search something, it says "An error occurred during a connection to www.google.com. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR. This happens with every single search on every website, not just google.

Hey guys, thanks for the help in advance.

This problem occurred recently and it's quite a pain in the ass. I'm using Macbook Pro 14 inches with M1 Max chip. Lately when I work, I have to open quite many urls at the same time, and my mac went crazy hot because of firefox's insane cpu usage. I tried what's suggested to turn off the acceleration mode, but still, nothing changes.

Is there still anything I can do to resolve it? or I just switch to other browser?

I always have the latest version of Firefox today it is 120.0.1

I get several of these and I have Bitdefender antivirus

When I want to start up Firefox I receive the following message, Cannot start up the aplication, press OK to end it.

Yesterday it start up Firefox but no website was shown

Bangirot says technical problems when I want to see my received bankgiro payments. Win10 with Firefox, I can't see payments on that machine for a month soon. I have reinstalled firefox now. Still same result. With Android phone and firefox it works, but without printer. With another browser on Win10 it works, but not with firefox. Swedbank internetbank or bankgirocentralen can't help me. They have not heard of such problems.

Internetbank works, but with their connection to bankgirot it says, tehnical problems. If I login to bankgirot directly, it says tehnical problems.

So far its only the combination with this machine and firefox that gives this result. I haven't tried with another machine yet.

I have used firefox very long time without any problems.

i now keep getting a pop up window saying that this profile was last used with a newer version of this application. Please create q new profile. what am I to do?

When I try to use firefox, the pages won't load. If I turn off my VPN, everything works like it should. I've been using Firefox and using the VPN for years, so this is a new problem, I think less than a week old. How can I use firefox with my VPN? Thank you, Steve

Website fonts are often garbled. See attached screenshot. I've tried the other suggestions mentioned here but nothing changes; it's still happening. I'm on a 2020 iMac with a 3.3 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i5 processor with Mac OS 14.1.1 and Firefox 120.0 (64-bit).

Why does your Browser use up so much of my CPU & have all these unknown processes going without my knowledge??? It's slowing & unnecessarily overheating my gaming laptop! What can I do 2 kill all ths extra, unwarranted activity of your Browser?!? Plz help!?
