Around August of last year I started getting this issue where I am unable to reach any Google related site like Youtube, Gmail and such. It drove me crazy and at some point I started using other browsers because of this issue. Sometimes my request goes through and sometimes its blocked. I have disabled my anti-virus, stopped all plugins, but all my attempts at fixing this were in vain.

bold textI am getting "Welcome to ad-free, secure video streaming!" every time I turn on firefox. I can't seem to get rid of it and don't know where it came from. It wants me to "Finish installation" and never installed whatever this is in the first place.

It also tells me "Auto-reporting via Google Analytics is disabled! "

I have no idea what is going on, don't want whatever they are offering, just want it to go away!

I neglected to say that I just 'x' this thing when I see it but it appears whenever I start firefox.

Thoughts?

The 5 shortcuts I had on my FF home page below the google search box all disappeared and I am unable to re add them as FF will not let me. I have reinstalled FF and refreshed it but it did no good. unable to take a screenshot as it will not show up when I right click as it used to.

I used FireFox for many years ago as my main browser but yesterday it didn't open at all. I remove it then I tried to download it again but now way. I'll attach the message which I have when I try to open it, please look at it. I have MacBook Air Version 12.7.4 (21H1123) , 13-inch, 2017

When I moved my data from my old Windows 7 to my new Windows 11 computer, I used a Mozilla account to upload and save my bookmarks. I then transferred my data using a different method.

I would now like to delete my data from this (Mozilla) site but can't find it. Please show me how to clear all my bookmarks, passwords (!!!), everything from this site.

I have noticed that, when searching for bookmark tags in the Firefox (current) search bar, I often am unable to see all results for a specific tag. I found a partial solution here:

This has enabled me to show (on my screen) a max of 23 results. This is OK, but I've frequently got more than 23 bookmarks tagged with a specific tag. So I can't see them. I need a way to scroll through the search results.

Another way of asking this might be: How can I do a tag search and see all bookmarks so tagged?

My job requires for Boolean and New String configurations inside of the about:config section of Firefox. I've been doing this manually by copying and pasting the lines, but I would like to automate this process via a .bat file if possible. I've created a .bat file for mapping network drives before but I've never created one for running a script in a browser before so I'm a noob.

I need the .bat file to convert boolean values to false and add strings. If possible, I would also like for this batch file to change the homepage to a page of my choosing. Any and all help would be appreciated, Thank You!

I am reaching out as a member of Iowa State University's LTI Integration Team regarding a technical issue we are currently experiencing.

Specifically, we have encountered JSON errors when utilizing various LTI's from Canvas, but the problem is isolated to the Firefox browser only.

I have attached a screenshot that demonstrates the error in question.

Could you kindly assist us in troubleshooting this matter? Any guidance or support you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

I and my wife both use Macbook Pros. Hers is "old" (2018), mine is "new" (2023). On Sunday Jan 7 2024 I updated Mac OS on her "old" laptop. The update summary said, "This request came from Firefox on Mac OS X 10.15." (see screenshot) and recommended security changes. We were not using Mac OS X before the update. The "old" laptop is working normally as far as I see. I am writing this request from the "new" laptop. What's going on? Is the "old" laptop compromised? If so, what do I need to do? Thanks!

samsung s21 has fireefox default browser and google home page. since 10am this morning 1/8/24, can not get google home page to disply, only blank page.

works ok with home pc, motorola, and on chrome on s21. verizon tech and samsung tech help are stumped. any ideas how to fix?

Until a few days ago, I could type a search into the Firefox home page and my typing would appear as expected in that 'window.' Now the typing appears in a address bar, apparently owned by google, at the top of the page and it is extremely distracting and annoying.

How can I restore the sensible and easy way to search?

Last not google website stopped loading. I tried clearing my data and cache and starting over but that didn't help. Any ideas

I have been using Firefox on my Huawei P29 for several years. I have Google UK set as my search engine and on my home page and this has been fine for years. Two or three days ago when I loaded Firefox Google UK and Google.com wouldn't display. The link flashes in the top bar but the page stays blank. They will load in Chrome and in Firefox if I have desk top mode switched on, but not in android mode. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, cleared the browser cache but no change. Getting pretty fed up with wasting my time sorting it out. Is it the Huawei phone or Firefox's last update?

I am using Firefox with synchronisation mainly on 2 PCs and 1 iPhone (there are old iPhone and 1 raspberry Pi connected, but not used). I have noticed that at least for a few months Firefox password library on iPhone was missing some password I needed, but I could always look them up on either PC without problem. Usually i tried to fix this by manualy synchronizing Firefox on iPhone in settings, it always showed that it is synchronized. Today I have discovered that i have only 19 passwords saved on my PC - same as on iPhone, but yesterday there were much more (probably all, but I can not be certain). Oldest one was created on 30. 10. 2023. All other are gone, I have managed to restore some old passwords (cca 370) from october 2021. I have disconnected internet and WiFi, placed old logins.json and key4.db in current profile, opened firefox and exported them. Once internet is restored, all passwords are deleted again, only those 19 recently created stay.

I did not delete any passwords or logins or anything on any device and did not delete any file or firefox profile. Why did it delete passwords without asking? And how can I prevent this from repeating? Because this is unusable password manager that randomly decides to purge login data from time to time.

google.com will not come up on android version of firefox. BUT if a search was already done that google page will com up. I open firefox type google.com in the search bar, but nothing i go into past history click on a previous search an boom google.com comes up
