on the image i want the cirkled website link to come first

i know the trick were u bookpark and make the shotcut but do i really need to do that with every god damn website

On firefox before version 105 i can use parameter on about:config page

1. signon.showAutoCompleteOrigins = to hide the "From This Website" 2. signon.showAutoCompleteFooter = to hide the "View Saved Login" button

Now on firefox version 106 parameter number 1 doesn't work (doesn't hide "From This Website")

How can i hide "From This Website" ? is it a bug or is there any other way

Hi, since update 106.0.2 I'm not able to update installed addons. It's just telling me that there would be no updates. Checking the console I see "addons.update-checker WARN HTTP Request failed for an unknown reason". I also tried it in troubleshoot mode. It's the same error. Does anyone have an idea?

The txt document codes I was given to save to my computer were corrupted in a recent windows update gone wrong. Can you give me those codes back, or are there other routes I can take to correct this?

I have a couple of desktop/laptop devices synced with the same account. When I make a backup/export of my bookmarks in each device (.json/.html files) the checksums of those files don't coincide between devices. Nevertheless, if I open the exported HTMLs in Firefox and save them as Text Files, the resultant files have all the same checksum (sha256sum), i.e., are all the same.

Is this how it is supposed to be? Or should my bookmarks JSON/HTML files be exactly the same in all devices and something is wrong?

I would like to open my history page and select an entry and open in it a new tab and the history page to remain open.

It is annoying that the history page closes automatically after the user opens a selected entry. Because I often view history trying to find a previous tab and typically don't find it first go, but then have to reopen history :(

Is it possible to change that behaviour?

I'm using Firefox browser v106 on Linux (Debian distribution on amd64).

My settings use "Firefox Home" (Web Search and Shortcuts) as Homepage. When I try to open a new page or tab, I have an error : "Oops, something went wrong loading this content. Refresh page to try again".

Despite my research, impossible to fix this issue. In Web Developer Tools / Console, I have the log : "TypeError : sectionOrder is undefined", in file resource://activity-stream/data/content/activity-stream.bundle.js

Have you any clue to fix this issue without resetting my Firefox profile ?

On startup this morning, I saw the Colorways options. I tried a few, but decided to keep my Dark theme.

One of the first set of Colorways options was "no option," a circle with a slash. On the new Firefox View > Colorways page, that is no longer an option. I tried Settings > Manage Colors, to no avail.

The Firefox I'm using now has screwed up colors. I want to revert to the Firefox I had on startup. How do I do that?

I set my browser theme to a customized green theme I made myself with firefox color, then I decided I wanted something different and installed a new theme from the addons page. It works until I close firefox, but if I open it again it changes back to the custom one I made? I can't find any settings that fix this and i don't want to delete the custom themes I made just to be able to use one of the addon themes I have saved.

I've now installed Firefox several times including at least one clean install. I've worked through all the support pages on how to fix the problem, including system scan using MalwareBytes, and removing extensions, but the problem persists.

To be more precise, sometimes it just crashes immediately leaving the notices shown in the image. Sometimes it opens and stays for a while but then crashes with a similar notice.

When I try to access a login I have used in the past I can no longer access it. Instead the tab just gives a (($root.title)) message.

When I access the site via Chrome I can login without problems.

Something has changed in a recent Firefox update because, as I said, I used to be able to access this site with Firefox.

Help please I don't want to use a different browser for some sites.

I have just updated Firefox to 106.0.4 (64-bit), the latest version. The first issue was that all my add-ons and extensions were disabled, and I had to manually re-enable all of them.

The next issue is that I cannot now minimise Firefox. I have tried the published fix - Go to the menu, then "More Tools" then "Customise Toolbar" and finally untick the "Title bar" on the lower left side. This has no effect.

Can anyone suggest another fix? I am using Windows 11 (not yet updated to 2022 H2 - am waiting for this to become stable).

bookmarks text white on white

Firefox updated to 106.0.2 (64-bit). When I click the sidebar icon, my bookmarks appear on the browser's left side as expected. However the text is not visible. If I hover my mouse over an icon is the list for a bookmark, the link appears. Also not all the bookmark icons appear. There are gaps between bookmarks on the list. Again, I have to hover my mouse over those gaps for bookmark info to appear. How do I make my bookmark list readable/usable again?

I have issues with background and text colors clashing making text hard or impossible to read. I have tried changing themes, clearing cache and disabling add-ons. It doesn't do it on every website but its doing it on enough of them to be frustrating.

Hello, The bookmark toolbar has a FOLDER called "Other Bookmarks" just appeared out of nowhere and I just noticed it. It contained 4-5 links which I deleted assuming this would delete the folder and I added a random bookmark to see if that might do anything. No! I have searched for fixes including going into "About:Config" chamed tried changing the command (i.e., browser.toolbars.bookmarks.showotherbookmarks, and other similar commands from True to False), none of this did anything. There is no right-click command over the folder, "Show Bookmarks" as you can see in the screen shot. I need to get rid of this, as it is taking up valuable real estate and is an eyesore so to speak. Again, this just popped out of nowhere when I was moving/deleting bookmarks on the toolbar that wouldn't cause this folder to appear out of nowhere. Thank you in advance. I do hope someone can help!

Is this a known issue for the new update? Whenever I try to click Recently Closed Windows in particular, it just does nothing. It has the grey highlighted bar that shows it wants to do something, but then does nothing. About 1 out of 100 times when i click Recently Closed Tabs, it WILL open to show my recently closed tabs, but generally does the same thing as Recently Closed Windows. I know I have recently closed tabs because I restored session and it is currently showing all my old tabs I had open prior to the update. I also tested to see if my recently closed had just reset by opening a new window and closing it, but it still just does nothing. I use the Recently Closed Windows quite a bit and it's quite irritating that it appears to be broken.
