I installed the English (US) dictionary add-ons from Mozilla Add-ons (English-US Dictionary and US English Dictionary). Firefox confirms they are installed and shows a “Remove” option, but they do not appear in about:addons under Dictionaries or Extensions. Additionally, the dictionary features are not working on webpages—there is no “define” option on text selection, and no dictionary/lookup functionality appears even after double-clicking words or using context menu options. The add-ons only appear as installed on their web pages.

Expected behavior: Installed dictionaries should be visible in about:addons and provide word lookup/definition functionality in the browser. Actual behavior: Add-ons are not listed in about:addons and provide no visible or usable dictionary features on webpages.

Hi there. Ian here. My home page "www.news.com.au" keeps wanting to lock me out due to apparent addblockers on my PC. I am not aware of any that I have installed and can't find a way to remove them or turn them off. I am also not sure if this is a healthy consideration in any case. Can you Help me please.

Extensions, such as Dark Reader, don't work on some designated web-sites. For example: support.mozilla.org addons.mozilla.org accounts.firefox.com

Windows club downloads to speed up firefox browser: Firemin, Firefox Booster,Speedyfox and Firefox Preloader. Are these offered through firefox settings? Are they safe to use with my Firefox browser?

I want to be able to select the ai program I would like to use when researching (anything), like I have with Claude, but I don't know how to download the programs and have on the side bar like I have claude. Please help. Also, I can't download Deepseek.

Just in the last week, possibly since a software update, when I click on a link I am diverted to a new website that I did not want to see. The link I clicked also opens, but I have to close the unwanted tab and navigate back to the one I wanted. How can I stop this from happening?

I guess i may have downloaded something not good. Because I keep having to redo the time on my laptop. Then I see under the plugins a warning that it wasn't supported. Like it's not to be trusted. I can't find it now. But I been having to go in and change my time zone every log in just about. Arghhhhh. Help Wizard!

After my browser updated to the latest version of firefox I now get a white banner bar at the top of my browser that literally obscures everything at the top of any website I browse. you can scroll up and down in the white banner and apparently its an error message for the extensions not connecting. I only have adblocker extension and it was installed from the extensions provided in the mozilla store. How do I get rid of this as it makes most sites I visit unusable as you can't use any menu from that site. it seems like maybe its not connecting to the adblocker server and they'll probably update eventually but until that time I cant even sign in to google because its covered by a banner that would tell me that it cant connect to adblocker.pcvark.com? I've been a user since like 2005/6 and have never had any type of problems whatsoever so whatever help you can provide is appreciated.

I have added extensions from the Firefox store, an element remover extension, and there is no option to pin it to my toolbar when I click on the gear icon. I want all of my extensions to be added to the toolbar.

My main Extension is 1Password which I rely on. I do have a few other extension and the same applies to them. The Extensions work fine and I can have multiple Firefox windows open with no problem, however if I click on a link in an email (often necessary) it opens a Firefox window as expected but my Extensions are not available on the toolbar and do not work. I can add them to the Toolbar but 1Password does not work in this window (opened from the link), whereas it works in any other Firefox window..

There is an Add-on that I am using that have needed an update for some time now, and the creator has already finished with the update and sent it to Mozilla for approval, but they are not responding to the request. It has now been over a week, while Chrome approved it in a matter of hours.

Is there any way to ask Mozilla to speed up the approval of updates for Add-ons? The one in question is this one: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/croptix/

On my tool bar, the VPN button seems to have grown... It does this while both off, on and even when i remove/add it to the tool bar. I use very few extensions and i don't know what could have caused it. I use windows 11.
