Is there a way to remove "recent bookmarks" from the book marks pull down menu? Or at least hide them. It causes a total lack of privacy when any and all bookmarks can be seen in full view. Seems a stupid thing to not be able to hide them. Other browsers only show book marks when you go to the folder they are in.

I get several message that: I cannot connect to Amazon, Several websites, etc. It sometimes has something to do with private windows and/or can't connect! Could be license, ssl, etc. When I force a firefox private window, it works for a while then goes back to the same thing. Any ideas how I can fix this?

Want to disable the news pop-ups that appear at the bottom right hand corner when I first open Firefox. Prevent me from printing while they pop-up and are usually quite a few of them.

I used Private Browsing to review a web site, and saved a couple of files to my hard drive. When I closed the Private window and went to a different page in Firefox, then used Print and "Microsoft Print to PDF", the print dialog came up with the Private window's last save location as my initial save location. It doesn't matter whether the regular Firefox window was open before or after the Private window was closed.

This was a leak from Private to Regular. Windows 11. Firefox 155.0.1 (64-bit)

I am using Firefox Beta 156, Version 4 on Windows 11 Professional, 25H2. I have an odd error, "Look up over IPV6 failed lookup." It occurs on two different VPN's, Proton Free, and Windscribe Professional. Any assistance, or insight would be highly appreciated. Thank you kindly.

i have made sure that all the settings do not force signing out, all settings include save passwords/bookmarks etc.

But... when I close firefox Im forced to sign in when I reopen the browser, it also looses all my bookmarks and passwords and I have to re-import them from the firefox backup.

I have deleted various temp files and force firefox to create new ones.

Can't get around this. It becoming such a farce that I'll abandon firefox and go to Opera!!!

We have a intranet site that works in Edge and Chrome without issues with the site added to "internet options". But for some reason we are getting 401 Unauthorized when trying to access it from Firefox. I have tried adding the urls to: network.automatic-ntlm-auth.trusted-uris network.automatic-ntlm-auth.allow-proxies: true network.automatic-ntlm-auth.allow-non-fqdn: true network.auth.force-generic-ntlm: false network.auth.force-generic-ntlm-v1: false

Ingocnito mode , same error. I have tried disabling all plugins. Disabled DNS over HTTPS.

I paid for an annual subscription of Mozilla's VPN on 9/8/26. However, when I try to run the VPN, it is telling me I have to wait for the monthly trial (which I had previously to reset). My invoice is 98Z6LFXQ-0001. Also, when I printed a receipt of my purchase, I noticed my zip code is incorrect. My zip code is 11224 (not 11229).
