I have the latest FF browser. I'm not using any proxy service, just spectrum connection. when i try to access my credit union account, i get this message

"Error: "WWF2TUh4dnM=" - You're using an outdated browser or are using a Proxy service which is unsupported. Please update your browser or turn off your Proxy to continue, thank you."

how can i get past this? All help appreciated!

I need to install a browser on a Windows 7 laptop that I'm trying to get operational so the files / data can be migrated to another platform. I would like to use Firefox if possible.

I'm thinking I would need a prior version. If so, what version should I choose and where do I get it from?

The current / legacy browser is Brave but that has been disabled by installing Bitdefender as part of the ongoing cleanup process. --Thanks

On one web site (see attachments), my location is being detected as being outside USA while using firefox desktop browser, yet on the same computer, my location is being correctly detected as being inside USA.

You will see the asian words. When I change the pull dawn tab ("Saudi Arabia") to "USA", the asian lettering does not convert to English.

Not sure how to fix this.

I can't get to my gmail account if I go to firefox as a search and enter the single word GMAIL. Before anything else is entered, I end up at my wife's account. Why should that be and how to get to any other email account. I have the same problem with CROME except there it appears to be bound to MY account - the word GMAIL must trigger some fixed, prior established, link that was not intended. The fixed link in Firefox predates 115. I rarely use CROME. The Firefox linkage was very strange, but I mostly accessed MY account via Thunderbird until this also looked like a problem. Is there a way to break this fixed linkage? Thank you

Looking at your guesses, it is 115.8.1 according to my inspection, W7 is correct.

Since the last Firefox update I have been unable to login to my bank's website. Attached is a screenshot of the message that appears. As a test I tried logging in with Google Chrome and was successful so it is likely something with the last update of Firefox. Note that I am using Windows 7 and do not want to change to a newer version.

A friend has passed away and I cannot access her obituary page. I could for a couple of days but I can't any more. Is this a problem with the FF latest upgrade? The page is [link removed by moderator]

I do not want her obituary page made public on a forum in case it causes inappropriate comments.

I have just discovered the page works ok on Chrome so I will use that for now, but I am reporting the problem to try and help you. I am using latest version of Firefox.

I have added a screen snip of the part-loaded page.

I just followed the button below about extra troubleshooting information and lost all the information I had typed into this box, which irritates me as well.

Hello. It seems that Google has created a way of "dealing with" Firefox's automatic removal of the page seeking one's acceptance or rejection of cookies. Each time I refresh the page, the accept/reject cookies pop-up briefly flicks on-screen but then disappears and one is back at the consent page:

So as things are, I cannot access the consent page to either reject or accept the cookies, and therefore I cannot get past the consent page and into googlemaps.

Google may be aware of Firefox's way of "dealing with" the consent page and has found a way of making it impossible for people to proceed to use of the googlemaps website.

Hi, I'm a Firefox user since around 2004. Whenever I used FF i always opened multiple windows of FF. At some point Mozilla came out with Tabs. I don't use them and as a matter of fact I use the option under settings to open links in a new window (not tabs). Always have, Why? Habit I guess from the times I first starting using FF. I seriously don't use Tabs. I would like to Remove the Tab Bar from FF because of this reason and it frees up a lot of visual space on my browser. I've spent hours reading/searching/trying on "how" to remove or at least hide the Tab Bar. Waste of time so far, so I decided to Post the Question.

How Do I Hide or Remove the Tab Bar in FireFox?
