Firefox does not recognize that it is gone too automatically update my window. I need help to put the latest VPN back into my Firefox version 153.0 bc I have tried everything AI has recommended and I still don't have it. I may have deleted the hidden files too. Should I just delete all of Firefox and download the latest version and let that update itself?

I am using Macbook Air computer with Monterey OS and part of Tahoe OS (I didn't have enough room to download it said I needed 5+ more gigs) and I was already using FireFox version 153.0 BUT I didn't know what that little VPN icon was at the top right of my screen and so I deleted it and everything to do with it. I may also have deleted the hidden files of it. I followed AI to try to recover it, but no luck. The Firefox app itself tells me I already have the latest version, but the entire VPN appears to be gone.

Not sure what else I could have accidentally deleted, but would a complete remove and re-install of Firefox be my easiest and best choice now? I can go no farther with AI, it reached a dead end. Can a Mozilla Firefox techy person please help me with the steps to do this if this is a good idea?

If a customer is already using Mozilla VPN, Firefox should not be offering its own internal VPN. It is counterproductive. A simple test should be written into Firefox.

I am repeatedly unable to access certain websites because VPN has blocked access. Is there a way to set certain sites so VPN allows access without needing to repeat this instruction every time

The way you use VPN is you can either have it turned off, or turned on with exceptions you can put in a list. I'd like to be able to do the opposite, have it mostly turned off, except for some websites that require one to view. This is a QoL feature I would like in a future update.

About a week ago, I started using VPN Beta, and it worked fine. When I clicked the button at the top of the browser, it prompted me to sign in. I signed in, and the VPN turned on, and everything worked. Incidentally, it kept asking me to sign in, even though I wasn't using private windows or anything. So, I had to restart VPN Beta every time, even though I'd already done so. Basically, now I can't even start. They're trying to block such services in Russia, and apparently your site, mozilla.org, was caught in the crossfire, and I don't know what to do. Your built-in VPN was convenient enough that I could just turn it on for a few seconds to access a blocked site, rather than mess around with VPN clients. Perhaps if my Mozilla account never crashed and I didn't have to log in every time, this problem wouldn't exist, and I could activate the VPN right away, without logging in through a blocked site, since I'm sure the server itself is working. Maybe this can be done through the settings somehow? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Currently Mozilla VPN's website settings allow you to exclude certain websites from VPN use, but they don't allow you to INCLUDE certain websites in the VPN when it's turned off. This feature would be very useful for me, since I only need the VPN for a small number of websites and don't need it on all the time. Please consider adding it if possible!

I wanted to turn on the built-in VPN feature on my Firefox web browser. After I clicked on the Get Started button, and I signed in to my account, Afterwards, I saw the same Get Started dialog box appear again. Why is this happening?
