The Add-ons Manager tab is automatically presented as one of the tabs when I start Mozilla. How do I configure Mozilla so that the Add-ons Manager tab is not presented?

I tried to visit the following pages in Firefox 121 (running under Arch Linux) and they took minutes to load. They loaded in a fraction of a second in Chromium. Anyone have any idea what is wrong?

Does anyone have any idea what is happening or what I should do to alert the development team? Are these sites using technology not implemented in Firefox?

While in my internet banking it is not possible to copy/paste the IBAN, the sum or just the name or anything. No matter if I used the context menu copy/paste function or the keyboard shortcuts. I am trying to copy from a Google Drive opened text file or a template saved in my online banking.

In Chrome there was no issue with copy/paste.

Outside of my banking, there are no issues with copy/paste.

I expect it is a security setting somewhere, do you know which one it is?

Two computers. Both computers name version of Firefox and same version Of Windows 10. On computer 1 drag and drop no longer works. I can click star next url and manually to bookmark toolbar. I also cannot reorder on tool bar by dragging and dropping by selecting.

How do I know I'm doing it correctly? On computer 2 it works exactly as should. Click on padlock and drop or click on entry and toolbar and reorder. Same extensions etc and do not have a bookmark extension though have tab session manager. Same version both computers. Only difference in browser is number of tabs open. x 10 difference in number of tabs open computer 1 versus 2.

If I put firefox in troubleshoot mode with extensions etc off or create a brand new profile and try same problem.

A strange new requester appeared in Firefox today. I do not think that I clicked on anything without noticing. I was just watching a Youtube video and the requester appeared when I was moving the cursor down across the screen. The requester items would not respond, and the requester could not be closed. I had to quit Firefox and restart to get rid of it. See attached screen capture.

Current version of Firefox on Windows 11. Menu bar hidden when Firefox started. I have tried every setting suggested and understand how to turn it on, but next time I start Firefox, menu bar is hidden again. Reinstalling Firefox -- no joy. Restarting in safe mode -- no joy. Help!

Cannot view FoxNews.com and FoxBusiness.com due to add blockers. I have disabled all blocker extensions - that did not work. I have turned off enhanced tracking protection for those sites - that did not work. I have opened in troubleshooting mode - that did not help. What else do I need to try?

I use Kaspersky so I will start trial-and error there next.

I love this addon, but sometimes it doesn't respond. it hasn't been updated since 2017 and the support page is inaccessible.

Is there a something similar available?

With color perception limited vision, I cannot distinguish default colors for visited/not-visited link colors. I tried changing colors in Settings via:

Colors / Override FF's default colors for text, website backgrounds, and links:

I changed the colors to what suits my needs BUT just changing those colors ALSO put focus(?) lines around various texts and randomly changes colors elsewhere in arbitrary fashion making my changes unacceptable. What am I doing wrong?

I am not stupid, but I do not understand the langauge used in describing "modifications." It would be useful for people in similar states of lack of knowledge to have at least maps/legends of web pages explaining the arcane language of webs.

Hello there. Some months back Firefox decided to block my Dragon NaturallySpeaking extension. This extension is needed so that I can properly control my browser using speech as I have severe repetitive strain injury through typing. The explanation given is that the extension violates some privacy rules that Firefox have put into place.

Whilst I fully appreciate how Firefox is looking out for us, I am really puzzled as to why I do not have the option to say that I am not concerned about this issue and want to continue using the extension. The Dragon NaturallySpeaking software costs several hundred pounds, and it has now been rendered much less effective, which prevents me from working properly in my browser.

I have of course contacted Dragon NaturallySpeaking who just said that they were looking into it, but nothing has been done (presumably I am running a version that they no longer actively support).

Could you please explain to me why it is not possible to allow the users to make an informed decision about whether or not to continue to use an extension? I find it very hard to believe that an extension which is well established as the leading speech recognition software is a serious threat to me?

I am trying to resend network requests from the DevTools in order to debug during development.

The request method is POST, I tried all available SameSite + Secure cookie configuration combinations, nothing helps.

When resending the request, the Cookie-Header is ignored.

I also tried to use the 'old' Edit and Resend interface, by configuring a variable on about:config.

Prior to updating to Windows 11 I was able to specify the bookmark folder that I wanted to save the bookmark in when I pressed "Bookmark Current Tab" or "Ctrl-D". Now it automatically saves the bookmark in the "Other Bookmarks" folder instead of allowing me to save it in my desired folder? I then have to find the saved bookmark and manually move it to the desired folder. Is there a fix for this or is this a permanent feature change? Thanks for your help.

I'm trying to give permission to a website to use my microphone, but if I copy in the web address, the "Allow" button doesn't appear & so when I hit "save changes" nothing happens.

When I right click on an image and select "save as", after selecting where to save it and then selecting save, firefox just hangs and is completely unresponsive, leaving me having to terminate it through task manager. No error message ever come up, Firefox just freezes.
