Hi All,

Is there any reason why the menu item text in the URL popup menu is so spaced out in FF 115 and 125?

It's the only menu I've found like that.

See attached screenshots. The one on the left is FF 115, and the one on the right is FF 88 (more normal).

Is there a way to fix this?

And also remove that "Add" menu item at the bottom?

Hi Lots of my files on Mac have converted to Firefox (which I don't use) and will not open either in Mac, Adobe or Firefox. They are showing in my icloud drive but I cannot open them. And I REALLY need them as they are the source files for a website. I have no idea why this has happened, but would love some advice on how to fix it. I don't ever intend to use Firefox so not quite sure how it happened. Many thanks

A few days ago I started having an issue where Youtube videos 1440p and up would frequently skip ahead, stutter or freeze and play audio only. They also stopped loading as quickly as they had before. This issue only happens in Firefox as when I watch Youtube on Chrome everything is fine. I've tried disabling extensions to no effect. Is this a known issue or does anyone have suggestions?

Hi, I'm using Firefox 125.0.3 64-bit with Linux mint and some of the tiles on the homepage have disappeared I have selected 4 rows in settings but only 2 and a half rows show, I can remove all rows and select 4 rows again but only 2 and a half rows will show all the edit, pin etc, options are there and work and I can rearrange the tiles but if I dismiss a tile it disappears completely, any help much appreciated. please see added image.

I can add the short cuts I want but if I go someplace new Firefox will add it to my shortcuts without permission. This seems to be a new problem, and I don't like it! Then if I dismiss or delete from history its still not removed! Very annoying and may cause me to ditch Firefox for good!

I using kubuntu (ubuntu with kde) 22.04 and firefox will not recognize my security key. There is a really good thread on this here. It is now closed.

One of the solutions is to install firefox from the mozilla server. On other forums, this is referred to removing snap and installing the debs. I haven't tried this.

Reading through the thread however, it seems like the snap version should work. The manufacurers id and product code for my Thetis FIDO2 usb key are present in the etc/udev/rules.d/70-snap.firefox.rules

This answer says to disable apparmor. I tried that, but it didn't work.

This isn't actually a firefox problem. KDE Neon uses the firefox package from the Mozilla Team PPA and there's nothing wrong with that package. The problem is that Neon enables app armor on firefox which breaks access to password managers and security keys. sudo aa-disable usr.bin.firefox works around the problem by disabling app armor for firefox. aa-complain was not sufficient in this case.

Is there anything else I can try?

Hello, How can we disable QUIC with the latest ADMX or via registry entry on Windows 10. I see not settings under ADMX that can assist in doing so. I dont mind implementing a registry entry in GPO as well.

hi there, nowadays i am suffering a bad moment....because when i am trying to visit a website and trying to view an article the website automatically redirects to other sites,,,, and this is very disappointed..

so now i am asking for a solution to turn off auto redirect..

OPEN PREVIOUS WINDOWS AND TABS is unchecked but upon startup firefox always tries to do this and I get an error message. Computer crashes, shutoffs, sleep mode and Firefox wants to go to my previous windows and tabs : I HAVE IT UNCHECKED FOR A REASON, I DON'T WANT TO GO TO PREVIOUS TABS.

DoH requests to the configured https://dns.google/dns-query service work from an external application on the same machine as the browser, but about:networking#dnslookuptool reports the host being unknown.

My company recently started using ActivTrak Monitoring software and I need some help configuring the setup for Apple computers. I'm trying to create a custom .mobileconfig to automatically turn on the browser extension and then stop the end users from turning the add-on off. I can successfully install and lock the extension on once installed but need to manually activate the add-on first. What do I need to add to the plist to enable the extension automatically?

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra running latest Android update and latest Firefox update. I set Firefox as my default browser. I have un-installed all updates for Samsung Internet and removed all permissions for it. Disabling it is greyed out. Some apps that I use have links to websites. Too frequently, when I go to one of those links, the intro screen for Samsung Internet opens. Then, when I look at the settings in Firefox it is no longer set as the default. Then I set Firefox to default and go to my phone settings to see that Firefox is selected as the default. If I open the previously mentioned app and choose the web link, Firefox will open. But somewhere along the way, the default changes back to Samsung Internet and it's a vicious circle. I have posted in a Samsung forum but haven't gotten a reply that solved the problem. Please help. Currently, when I try and open downloaded .txt files and .log files (that is, when I click on them directly from the download pop-up that appears at the top-right of the browser), Firefox inexplicably opens Aegisub on my machine as the app to use. This is in contrast to when I open it directly from within my file browser, where it opens the Kate text editor, as suggested by the default app option in the permissions of the filetype.

How do I change the apps Firefox uses to open downloaded files? I've tried going into my settings and looking at applications, but .txt and .log don't appear, so I'm not quite sure what to do.

I'm on Kubuntu 22.04.3 LTS, using the Firefox deb package.

hello firefox support, i recently signed into firefox on desktop but now i cant seem to remeber the account password so after making a new password after clicking on forgot password ,will i lose my bookmarks and ad-ons and all the customized settings? pls help me in this situation i dont want to lose my data pls .

Specifically on the MSIX version of Firefox available in the Microsoft Store, what directory does Firefox look in for native manifests?

The problem I need to solve is that I need to place a native manifest in a location where Firefox can see it, specifically in the new Windows MSIX installer. This seems to be reasonably straightforward, if I can confirm where that is.

Ever since Firefox browser updated, my Home (specifically Shortcuts) has been glitching.

They do not show up, no matter how many rows I add or subtract. Web search and Recent activity still works (to an extent) but Shortcuts? Never again. Please fix it ASAP.
