I've reported these issues before with no response. I've uninstalled reinstalled cleared cache and cookies searched another forums et cetera. Why must I manually update when it's set to auto update? When I set controls to ask where to download items it bypasses that and downloads it as a temp file where I have to cut it out of explorer and paste it where I would like to save it.

Starting today (Apr 30), when trying to open firefox the following message appears:

"Firefox is running, but not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed to open a new window." My options are to close firefox or cancel.

When selecting close firefox, the message will reappear with the same options. I am unable to run.

I am able to start FF with no problem. I open a few tabs and then without warning I can't access any of the sites without closing FF and restarting. Then the whole cycle is repeated. I am considering getting rid of FF this started just over a month ago.

I'm using Firefox 124.0.2 (64 bit) on Windows, and every few days I get the error about using an older version of Firefox, with Exit or Create New Profile options. I then run "firefox -allow-downgrade" from the command prompt and everything works fine... for a few days, when it happens all over again. This only started happening a couple of weeks ago, but it's getting really annoying. How do I stop it (short of using something like Waterfox or Brave).

So I'm having issues playing 4K videos fully on one YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@ClearviewDriving

For some reason anything above 1080p gives me bad stuttering but on other channels videos don't stutter or freeze when playing 1440p or 4K quality.

Firefox is updated, I don't use Extensions other than Ad Blocker and I have that off on YouTube anyway. Seems strange that it'd only affect one specific channel.

I have a very good gaming PC too so the hardware isn't the issue.

WHY IT LOGGED OUT ALL MY ACCOUNTS FROM TABS WHEN EVER I CLOSE MY BROWSER, I HAVE TO RE-LOGIN AGAIN AND AGAIN, WHICH IS SO SO FRUSTRATING..................................

Hello! I've recently switched to Firefox from Opera. However: After the browser Closes, It will always Refuse to boot up. Even Shift-Click Doesn't work. It opens, but Crashes almost Instantly. OS: Windows 11 (Build 23H2)

I am tired of this [removed] browser quitting, even when I don't have it open...I am going to uninstall it and NEVER install it again...I tried a full uninstall to see if it would fix whatever the [removed] issue with it was, but it is doing the same [removed] again!...I don't have this problem with any other browser I use on my system (Chrome, Brave, Opera and Tor)...I am tired of dealing with this [removed], so you can just take your [removed] and shove it!!!

How the hell does a browser crash when it isn't even being used???!!!

No need to respond and ask for any logs or other [removed], because it will all be gone!!!

So I have an Excel workbook in my onedrive from MS, It was working fine on my firefox browser in my Ubuntu OS, last week it started to delete my cell's information whenever I pressed the enter, tab or arrow keys, I contacted the MS support and they get me to opened the same file on a chrome browser and worked fine... I still want to use my firefox browser but this problem is very annoying, please help me sort it out!!!

My name is Grey, and I'm experiencing an issue using Firefox as a browser to open my Outlook mail. For the past three days I have not been able to open any emails as a network error screen appears. Using other devices and other browsers like Edge, the emails open fine, so it is not actually a network issue. This problem only occurs using Firefox, and specifically with Outlook emails. Everything else functions fine and I have not made any changes, besides the regular Firefox update. My computer is also up to date.

What can I do about this issue? I appreciate the advice,

I am running the latest updates to Windows 10 Pro x64. One of my monthly bills is paid at

which, in Brave, redirects to

Inputting either link in Brave gets me to the finish line but the first link above fails in Firefox with the "Secure Connection Failed" message and dumps me at https://www.synchrony.com/accounts/. The second link does the same.

Is there any way to troubleshoot the problem?

I HAVE tried shutting-down Malwarebytes but the result was the same.

This is the only site on which I have encountered this issue. All that I can determine at the moment is that that certificate is from DigiCert and the expiration date is in 2025, i.e., this is not a Symantec cert.

I don't use Google Chrome browser nor do I use MS Edge. After using the Mosaic browser, I switched to Netscape Navigator, then to Mozilla, and, finally to Firefox. I am not looking forward to migrating to another browser. ;-)

I'm trying to watch videos on Disney plus and Amazon prime. I can't get them to work. I tried various tutorials but many were irrelevant because they referred to google chrome which I don't even have. I tried checking and unchecking the enable DRM checkbox. Widevine never seems to update. I do not know how to install in manually.

I've made an extention which works fine when I test it using the temp mode on firefox. When I attempt to install from file however I'm told it could not be installed as it appears to be corrupt. Below are the package.json and the manifest.json:

I am trying to log on to my account at SketchUp. At the login page i hit get started and a black page come up except in the top left corner is typed "Firefox not responding" the page hangs a few moments then it takes me back to SketchUp login. I have not had any recent updates done or required since last logged in and that was yesterday all worked well.

I am having a very frustrating problem that is driving me huts.

Just the other day I was commenting in a text box like this one and I hit caps lock on my keyboard and a little grey box I had never seen before appeared with a locked lock. Then when I hit caps locks again on my keyboard an unlocked locked appeared in the little grey box. But it stays in cap locks and no matter what I do it won't go back to lower case. And when I say nothing shuts it off I mean its doing that on every site I try to comment on. Shutting down the browser does not help. And the only way I can get caps lock off is to actually shut down my whole computer and basically start all over.

You community volunteers are the best and quickest help I can get so I went straight to you for help.

Several instances of this "verification.exe" malware appear on download history when firefox is opened as shown. Remove from history or clear downloads doesn't eliminate them. They reappear whenever firefox is opened.

Suggestions to eliminate this nuisance welcome.

latest 124.0.2 causing severe problems, it will near instantly bloat to fill all RAM and SWAP even in safe mode causes system load over 24! only solution is to reboot very problematic on for ex: https://epg.pw/xmltv/epg_CA.xml hard to get a screencap since system is nearly totally unresponsive. Firefox Version: 124.0.2 (64 bit) Windows Version: Windows 10 LTSC 2019 (Version 1809)

When I right click the taskbar and press close Firefox, here comes the interface just as the screenshot uploaded. The blue close button doesn't response no matter how I click it and the Firefox's taskbar is flashing yellow. This bug only occurs on the first window of Firefox and only when user right click the taskbar.

It has been a long time for me wishing that some updates would be released soon to fix this issue, while noting happens. Or this bug is only for me?

I am unable to get printing to work correctly using Firefox with Epson POS TM-T20 thermal printers we have a work.

We're currently running Firefox on Debian 12. I've tried both the ESR version that comes with the Debian repository and the latest Firefox as a flatpak.

When printing to the receipt printer, the only thing that is printed is the left-hand most part of the logo and a little part of the text and this occurs towards the right-hand side of the paper. I've changing all of the settings, resetting the settings for the print in about:config, but nothing seems to work.

I'd love to get this working so that staff could use Firefox. I'm attaching an image of what the print job looks like and a screenshot of what the print-preview shows.
