I was able to open reddit.com without any problems earlier, but recentrly I'm not able to load it up anymore. The loading screen is eternal and it doesnt show any kind of error (unless it tries to connect for too long like a couple of minutes, then the error does shows up). The site still sends me notificarions through the browser though. Any other site loads up without a problem. I tried to use methods mentioned in the help article (turned off proxy, turned on network.dns.disableIPv6, deleted cookies and cache). In other browsers (Edge, for example) reddit.com loads just fine. Please help me if you can.

I recently facing an issue that the Firefox browser randomly maxed out my RAM and went unresponsive. Like the screenshot below, I am only trying to open Facebook and Instagram, 2 tabs.

I have tried to open about:memory and about:processes to monitor but it just went unresponsive and both the monitoring just hanged.

Have no idea why the Firefox process taking up so much RAM. Need help.

Just a short time ago Version 125.0.3 downloaded. Since then I cannot open Youtube without it crashing. When I ask it to restore the tab (one of 2 choices offered, it crashes again. After 4 or 5 times I close the tab and switch to another browser. I shut off the one extension I had running. That fixed nothing. I looks like my 2019 iMac is too old and I need to go back to an earlier version.

There seems to be something specific to the Phlearn site and Firefox which prevents videos from auto advancing. They either recommence the just completed video or revert to an earlier one.

I had downloaded a couple of pdfs from google drive via private browsing which were stored in my 'Downloads' folder. But as soon as I closed the window the pdfs were deleted. I had also downloaded a zip file which wasn't deleted.

I have Mac, Windows, and Linux boxes. All show connected to Firefox Sync, however, bookmarks etc are only actually in sync between Windows and Linux. I've tried logging out on all devices, resetting passwords, reinstalling FF on the Mac. Can't seem to get it to work.

I'm trying to troubleshoot why firefox isn't connecting to my DNS over HTTPS instance running adguard home. Every other device (including another laptop) is able to set the DNS over HTTPS and connect successfully - but my desktop PC instance gets NS_ERROR_CONNECTION_REFUSED. Despite multiple reboots, ipconfig /flushdns, release/renew, etc...

Even my android phone is able to connect to it using the "private dns" feature (uses port 853 instead of 443).

I've been able to verify https access to the DNS server and it's querying successfully. It's just this one instance it won't connect.

I have about 30 bookmarks on Firefox I use all of them on a daily basis. When I opened my Mac today, it had different wallpaper on the screen. I could not find Firefox on my dashboard at all. I had to pull it from my launchpad app. Please help my... I'm desperate !! Kenneth Mee (medic1464@aol.com)

Windows 10. Weird glitch.

If I use Wondershare UniConverter's downloader function to download a video, as soon as the download starts, all Firefox open windows close. This is a recent thing, the last couple of weeks or so. I have reinstalled Firefox and UniConverter. The first time I tried it after reinstalling UniConverter, all was well. But the same issue has shown up again. I have tried rebooting my PC to no effect.

Any bright ideas welcome!

Always shows "Failed to check for updates" On version 125.0.3 and still says needs to be updated. Then just run the install again and then it stops for a bit still on same version and then shows up needing update...been doing the same thing for a while now.

Hotmail (Outlook) search function has not been working for months. I signed in using Chrome and no problem.

I realized search in my hotmail account was not working maybe 6 months ago and I've been finding ways to work around it, but today, i got upset and tried to figure out what was wrong. I signed out and signed in. I googled what to do, updated Firefox, to no avail. Then I read to try another browser. Chrome worked fine for outlook/hotmail search function.

I need this search function. I prefer Firefox. let me know if it can be fixed?

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to www.healthpartners.com. Certificate path length constraint is invalid.

Error code: SEC_ERROR_PATH_LEN_CONSTRAINT_INVALID

This seems to be caused by Firefox. I don't have this problem with Edge, Chrome or Opera

I purchased a new computer, was finally able to download Firefox. When I go to use it, frigging Microsoft BING come up. How do I fix it? Thank you for your help. Susan

p.s. I am at work, the new computer is at home., The version of Firefox was downloaded yesterday and the operating system is Windows 11

My "recovery.jsonlz4" file from a previous install will not reopen my previous session (tabs) after the new installation.

Before deleting my previous installation of Firefox (for a clean install), I did two things: I created a restore point, and I did a backup of my old data.

The data consists of: bookmarks-2024-05-10.json

These folders: C:\Users\[machinename]\AppData\Local C:\Users\[machinename]\AppData\Roaming C:\Computer Files\Mozilla Firefox\distribution C:\Program Data\Mozilla-1de4eexxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx

Within "Roaming" I have Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default-release\sessionstore-backups

In that sessionstore-backup, I have a "recovery.baklz4" (most recent session, I'm guessing) and three others that look like "upgrade.jsonlz4-2024xxxxxxxxxxx

With Firefox closed, I took a copy of "recovery.baklz4" (745 KB) and pasted it into the current sessionstore-backups file, then I changed the file to "recovery.jsonlz4".

I thought that when I reopened Firefox, my previous tabs would appear. They didn't. So, I went to the menu, then to History, and clicked on Recover Previous Session. That didn't do anything either. And it reduced the size of the *.jsonlz4 file from 745 KB to 6 KB.

I'm not sure what I've done wrong. Can you help me out?

I have always been a Firefox user and all of a sudden I cannot get into my MS 365 Sharepoint if I am using Firefox, if I use Edge I can get into the accounts.

I want to use Firefox not big commercial browsers.
