I am looking for a fix to get my metamask wallet working again on firefox. When i click on the metamask icon all I get is a spinning wheel. I am not able to login and access my my metamask wallet. I am hoping to find a fix prior to performing a recovery with with my seed phrase on another desktop. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, I hope your day is going well! (^_^) I highly dislike quite a few of the settings on firefox, especially considering they're turned on by default. The setting I abhor is the experiment setting because mozilla is quite literally experimenting on myself and other users. You may have a different perspective on the matter but I find it disgusting that there's nothing overtly telling you that your instance of firefox is different than other peoples just so they can run experiments (technically, on YOU) but I digress. I noticed the experiment option was turned on after I thought I had turned it off. Since I turned it off, I've had to update firefox every time I start it. I happened to look at the settings and noticed that the experiment option was turned back on without my consent or knowledge. After turning it off again, firefox updated once again and guess what, the experiment setting was turned back on. Why is that and how can I prevent that from happening in the future because, again, that's a disgusting practice in my eyes.

Hi, When I use a shortcut for a bookmark (e.g., typing "yt" to activate my youtube search bookmark with URL set to "https://www.youtube . com/results?search_query=%s" and shortcut set to "yt") it opens in a new tab. I am in the habit of making a new tab before using a shortcut to search using a bookmark. How can I change the shortcut bookmark behavior to open in the same tab where i typed the query into the URL bar?

Under "Settings" > "Files and Applications" > "Downloads", I have selected "Save files to [Downloads]" and I have set the tick mark in the box ("Always ask you where to save files"). See screenshot.

This setting used to work fine for many a year. However, some months ago - and ongoing - Firefox does no longer ask me where to save a downloaded file. This is very annoying indeed!

How can I fix this?

I am using Windows 10, Firefox 124.0 (64-bit).

There is a very bothersome extension that affects streaming of shows on Paramount +. It keeps reinstalling itself without asking me, to I allow it. Im attaching a screenshot of the extension, including its author, etc.

I'm using VSCode debugging plugin for Firefox in order to debug my angular web apps. The plugin states that it only works when launching Firefox with "-start-debugger-server" argument. This launches Firefox with an interface warning, recoloring search bar bright striped-red with a warning "Browser is under remote control (reason: devtools)".

I would very much like to remove this warning, since I'd like to work in this mode all the time anyways. Is there any ways to do so?

translating webpage from Arabic to English How can you not have the option to translate form Arabic? How can you be so behind? Firefox is such a disappointment in so many ways

Hopefully someone out there is a hiker/backpacker who the AllTrails app with Firefox. I use AllTrails to plan and record my hike. While hiking I take photos which record the Latitude and Longitude where the photo is taken. I can then upload those to my hike on AllTrails. Unfortunately, the photo upload feature does not work with Firefox. I must therefore switch to Edge, something I do not want to do. Hopefully there is an add-on or something to solve this problem...

It used to be that all ticked device settings in Edit Mode, standard and custom, are selectable in Web Developer Tools / Responsive Design Mode. Before, the cursor, indicated by the blue outlined box as shown in the attached screen shot, wraps around the list of devices to show the other hidden device settings. But now, the cursor just wraps but the values in the list do not adjust to show the other device setting that are available to be selected.

I don't know if I unknowingly, did something that triggered the lost functionality mentioned above.

How could I restore this lost functionality so that I could test my website in all the device settings that I have checked in the Edit mode?
