My job requires for Boolean and New String configurations inside of the about:config section of Firefox. I've been doing this manually by copying and pasting the lines, but I would like to automate this process via a .bat file if possible. I've created a .bat file for mapping network drives before but I've never created one for running a script in a browser before so I'm a noob.

I need the .bat file to convert boolean values to false and add strings. If possible, I would also like for this batch file to change the homepage to a page of my choosing. Any and all help would be appreciated, Thank You!

I recently set-up a userChrome.css folder to customize my browser. The thing I miss about Chrome is the fully rounded shapes that use "border-radius: 2em;". I noticed that I can't change the border radius of search bars and tabs to make them fully rounded.

I have tried: @media (border-radius: 8px) { border-radius: 2em !important; }

I have also tried 30 different codes but none edited the homepage, I have even looked through the activity-stream.css to copy the code and change just that tiny bit for my liking but nothing. My question is, is there any other way to achieve fully rounded corners on all things?

When I open a new tab in FF, a row of 8 boxes appears below the search bar where I can add shortcuts. I currently only use 5 of them, meaning there are 3 empty boxes left over. I don't want to have them show history, or recommended websites, or anything of the sort that might distract me; the shortcuts should only be those I actually intend to use, of which there are only 5. To my knowledge, the only easy way to add/remove shortcuts is to adjust the number of visible rows, but this only allows modifications based on multiples of the original 8. Like in Chrome, can I actually remove any excess shortcut boxes I don't want to use? I feel this is a very basic customization I'm sure Firefox should be able to accommodate.

I have spent hundreds of hours over the years trying to figure out how to hell to suggest words to the default firefox dictionaries. I don't mean weird words, words used constantly in scientific settings. It is infuriating. I am willing to take on this task if no one else is. How do I join the effort?!? I have 20 years experience at a fortune 500 company. Google is worthless these days.

As we all know you can set certain wallpapers in Chrome. But can't find any such options in the Mozilla Firefox Browser for Windows. FYI, my version is 121.0 (64-bit)

When I use the url calculator, the number will display as expected, e.g. if I type 900-756.07 Firefox displays 143.93 in the url. However, when I try to copy that number, the length of the numbers decimal places changes substantially, e.g. 143.93 turns in 143.92999999999995.

Is there a way to prevent it changing the result?

When I type in the search bar, I want to SEE my typing in the search bar. If I want to type in the address bar, I know where it is. I don't want a "unified" experience.

Hello, when i click the 'extensions' icon in the toolbar, it redirects me to the extensions manager site, rather than opening a little popup with a list of extensions. How do i fix this so that the popup appears again?

I use Firefox on my Win11 and Win10 PCs. The Win11 version of Firefox has a button to restore the recent closed button, but the Win10 version doesn't. I wonder why?

When i try to open youtube.com for example i used to only type in you or even you y for firefox to finish the whole URL for me, but sometime last month it dissapeared and never figuered out why after ALOT of trouble shooting to the point where I felt the need to create a new firefox account. Can you fix this for me? or just make everything deafult?
