I really love Firefox’s new Split View feature. The Alt + Click shortcut to create vertical split pages works perfectly and greatly improves my multitasking workflow for side-by-side tab comparison. However, there is currently no native keyboard shortcut to cancel / exit Split View and separate tabs without closing either page. To undo split view, users have to rely entirely on mouse operations: right-click tabs or click the divider menu. This breaks keyboard-first browsing efficiency and creates unnecessary extra clicks every time I finish comparing pages.

Feature Request

Please add a dedicated built-in shortcut to quickly separate tabs and close Split View. A simple key like Esc or a custom combination such as Ctrl+Shift+Alt+X or something would be ideal, matching the convenient Alt+Click way to trigger split view.

Where is my home screen start up tabs? I used to start up Firefox and my chosen tabs opened. Where are they? That is the reason I have stuck with Firefox all these years.

When checking out the new features the ' Learn More' link under Tab Groups directs to the article explaining Pinned Tabs, there is no way to get to the explanation about Tab Groups

Hi, My browser won't save the open tabs. I lost my tabs multiple times now, I don't even bother opening them back up now, but it's annoying. I have activated ( and disabled/enabled ) the setting to open previously open tabs on startup.

What can I do ? thanks

In an accounting/payroll software application, a new window opens instead of a new tab. How to I fix this?

I've already tried about:config method as well as the simple 'tabs and browsing' method within Firefox settings. Nothing seems to work.

The website wouldn't open for me, so I decided to restart Firefox, after which it closed all my tabs and tab groups. My settings are set to "keep tabs after closing the browser." This hasn't happened before.

I tried unchecking and rechecking all start settings. When I close Firefox, it asks if I want to close all tabs - the only option is to cancel, leaving Firefox open, or Yes, which would close all my tabs and not reopen the tabs on startup.

My recent history is also missing.

Ich werde Firefox nicht mehr benutzen, alle Fenster verschwinden wenn man Firefox wieder startet obwohl dies in den Einstellungen "Vorherige Fenster und Tabs öffnen" steht! Scheinbar ist keiner fähig dies zu beheben und keiner hilft! Sehr fragwürdig!! So könnt ihr euren Firefox beerdigen!!!
