When I click on a link on some websites, the link opens with no trouble. However some links don't open, just show the url. If I copy the url and paste it into a new tab, it then opens. How do I fix this? The links are from reputable sites.

Hi, I wonder if someone can help me log into the KeyBank website. I keep getting this message: "Due to technical concerns, your current version of Firefox is no longer an option for KeyBank online banking. Nothing is wrong with your account. You simply need an updated browser – like the most up-to-date version of Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox – to sign on to online banking." My Mac indicates I have an up-to-date version of Firefox (78.10.0esr (64-bit) Thank you

I'm using firefox 97 on mac. Whenever I copy and paste an image from firefox, the image comes out desaturated as if it is using the wrong color profile. I tried changing the gfx.color_management settings without it improving. The images look fine and are the right colors in the browser, however, the issue only happens when I copy and paste images. Firefox behaves like the color management is disabled (set to 0 in config) but ONLY when copying and pasting images.

I do not have this issue with other browsers such as chrome.

I am in the process of moving all of our passwords into 1Password. However, I discovered that my wife has her Firefox set to auto login, but can't remember her user name and password. So, although she can use it, she can't change update the password. The fact that on setup, auto login is the default makes this doubly frustrating. So, is there any way to get to the password?

When I download an attachment from Gmail, I would like to just download it. However, Firefox now opens the attachment in a new tab before I can download it. Is this new? Is there a way to turn this off?

At some point, I have lost the ability to use "Command `" to toggle among open pages: those listed as available in the Windows menu.

Has this function been deleted? Can I restore it? Any assistance appreciated.

I wanted to upgrade and update my Firefox to the latest version. Encountered some errors so I uninstalled the old version and reinstalled Firefox' latest version. Now all of a sudden all my Add-ons / Plugins / Extentions on the latest version of Firefox for Mac OS is gone...

I have been noticing that Firefox browser is being manipulated to obtain confidential information from users.

Is Firefox doing anything to stop this? The crooks who are most likely military and Others affiliated with the government are surreptitiously accessing US Citizens computers and silently obtaining credit card information, banking, Venmo, Zelle Apple Cash, etc. and ROBBiNG citizens.

This is no joke. is Mozilla doing anything to protect their browsers from these hoodlums and corrupt government officials and there hired contractors?

I'd love to have Firefox release version and Firefox beta installed side-by-side on my Mac. Is it possible? If not, how do I make it so without encountering weird problems? If any from Firefox's dev team are reading this, please just make this possible. Chrome and Edge do it. Firefox should, too, IMO. Thank you.

Problem with Firefox opening two windows when connecting from another application link. STILL NOT FIXED. Running on Mac OS Monterey 12.5. There are numerous complaints about this bug but it never got fixed. It has become extremely annoying to me.

Microsoft Excel is no longer listed i Applications as download option. All files downloaded automatically are stored as Microsoft Word files, not just excel files. I can change individual files manually to .xlsx which is a nuisance, but this also happens with Zip files (7Zip) and I am at a loss as to how to change them when they are downloaded as a Word document.

This does not happen on a newer MacBook Pro, but I need it to work with the older version. The older Mac is MacBook Pro 9.2 with MacOS Catalina Version 10.15.7 Firefox is version 103.0

For example: When I'm working on a Washington Post (LATimes) crossword puzzle, the internal link to "settings" doesn't work on Firefox, but it does on Safari.

For example: When I'm on the website for my apartment building, the internal links to "maintenance requests" and "make payments" work on Safari but not on Firefox.

Thought I should bring it to your attention. My default browser is Firefox and I use Earthlink as my email. Earthlink just informed me that Firefox no longer supports Earthlink. HI FIREFOX! Many websites are not readable. I can see these correctly in Safari. I tried getting the latest Firefox updates. It did not fix the issues. Bizarrely, I can paste into another application and read the gobblity gook. So I think it is just a font issue. I really do not want to go back to Safari. Poshmark and Fedex are the two websites I experienced issues with today. Fedex would not interact properly with Firefox but I could find my tracking information on Safari. I have had the problem previously but did not have time to look into it that day. 16" Macbook Max M1 running Monterey

Hi there. I have a MacBook Air. It is running on 13.2.1 (22D68), which I think is Ventura. A couple of days ago I noticed that while I can still download any attachment to the browser from gmail or hotmail, I can no longer drag and drop to my desktop. I have tried the download/drag and drop to my desktop capability on Safari from both gmail and hotmail, and it works fine. This seems to be a Firefox issue. Can you please tell me what I need to do to fix this issue? Thank you so much! Firefox is the best! James H.

Tabs to not reliably reopen after closing Firefox. The latest occurrence, but not the only one, was after updating macOS 13 on a Mac Mini M1 using current version of FireFox.

I have read multiple help pages and double and triple checked settings. My work around has been to Bookmark All Open Tabs each time I close FireFox or shutdown the Mac - doable but a nuisance.

Lately, far too many websites I try to open, simply won't! Sometimes it's via links from my home page, sometimes it's links within various websites, like a newspaper, or social media, just whatever, no rhyme nor reason, nor consistency. Even when I manually input the url, nothing happens, the browser just sits there, nothing happens. I've restarted, I've refreshed websites, clicked on "open in new tab/window", nothing gets it to work.
