I build/run a LFS system. My latest build, with gcc-7.3 by the way, of ff-52.8.0esr & ff-52.8.1esr "keeps" crashing, depending on the website--hasn't crashed right here yet . LFS doesn't use the crash-reporter option, but I have this: Jun 11 10:01:42 myhost kernel: Web Content: segfault at fffe8 ip 00007f063c961de1 sp 00007ffd4e33eab0 error 4 in libxul.so[7f0639f1e000+3e80000] Jun 11 10:03:42 myhost kernel: Web Content: segfault at fffe8 ip 00007f67f1fe7de1 sp 00007ffc9785a920 error 4 in libxul.so[7f67ef5a4000+3e80000] I've seen similar reports using gcc-*, only 7.3 here. One expects esrs to be stable. Does this help?

Firefox has also stopped all file downloads with the same error message above.
Thunderbird in about the same timer from, started exhibiting the same problem trying to update addons. Always have to install from file. In addition, thunderbird is unable to send email and I believe it's getting an error when it tries to save the email to the Sent folder.
This is only happening on one of my Fedora 27 machines. The other Fedora machines as well as my Mac and Windows machines work just fine. I have checked the profile directories and I am the owner with full write permissions.

Hi everyone ! Using Firefox in Fedora 28 xfce, the Firefox window can't keep it's maximized state as I quit a fullscreen video. I need to re-maximize it again every time. As a workaround, I noticed it happens only if I hide the titlebar (customize options). But since I would prefer to keep the titlebar hidden, any idea please how I can stop Firefox to "unmaximize" the window each time I quit a fullscreen video ?
