I wanted to synch my current settings in my browser to import them on my new laptop. When I tried to login to my account, I the message from the attached screenshot appeared. So I created a new profile, got my stuff back to what it should be and then deleted the "new" profile. But now every time I try to get into the correct profile and login into my account, I still get the message from the screenshot. I never ever synched with another profile before and never had an issue in the past. Right now I am rather pissed off, because I lost atleast some of my bookmarks during this whole ordeal.

I cannot locate Adobe Acrobat extension to install in Firefox, v143, operating within Windows 11. I had previously been able to install this extension in Firefox operating within Windows 10.

I upgraded to Firefox 143.0.4 and lost all of my Bookmarks. How do I find and reload my Default Profile? Also, I cannot load anything in Firefox I am forced to use Edge which I do not like at all!!!!

Instructions everywhere say to open Firefox on mobile, select the options menu, and select "Sync and save your data." However, "Sync and save your data" does not exist. I cannot sync my passwords from mobile to my desktop.

I find that many websites don't run on firefox. Examples are virgin atlantic, holiday autos and copa airlines. I have to switch to Chrome to use them. Considering that firefox releases updates frequently this situation is surprising. Is the firefox administration aware of this issue? Is there any way to overcome this problem?

Have never liked the bright orange Firefox icon, it's too dominating on my desktop, I LOVE the older brownish firefox icon, it's just right. So every time you come out with a Firefox update I get out "Resource Hacker" and change the icon to the older one, pictured below. I mentioned this before, asking if you could just give that option, and didn't receive a response. You come out with so many updates, it's a hassle changing the icon every time, but I'm willing to pay the price to escape the distracting bright orange icon, but now suddenly Firefox won't let me alter the icon in the exe. Was wondering if you'd have any suggestions. Have used Firefox exclusively for decades. Thank you very much.

hi in a new win 10 instal most text incl Fire Fox and t bird text is made up of letters [font] that are made of thin and thick lines [in the same letter]

i dont know if its a strange font or another problem, i have copied all "font" setting from my other pc where i dont have the problem.

also i cant get spell check to work here dsespite turning it on

its very distracting, would be very gratefull for any suggestones can if any one can help  thanks

I am unable to navigate around some websites beyond the page on which I have landed. The site briefly (split second) looks OK and then gets slightly greyed and no other links on the site are accessible. Examples of sites: https://www.signia.net/en-gb/ https://www.flickr.com/

Hello, I have spent the last couple of hours reading through other questions and posts but nothing seeemd to work. If I try to copy a shared link in OneDrive or SharePoint on my desktop and then paste that link into Outlook Web App, the paste function does not work. The option is there, but the actual pasting does not materialise. CTRL+V also does not work. The only thing that does work is if I paste the link into another window first and then copy again, and the CTRL+V works. Right click and paste never works. I have tried this in a private window and in safe mode. I have also checked the clipboard settings in about:config to make sure they are not working against me. It works fine on Chrome. It has been like this since I moved over from Chrome a few weeks ago. Is this a common issue or a 'me' problem? Hello- Wondering how to turn off the "skip to main content" that continually pops-up on some web sites. This is a problem on a single Firefox installation and I cannot figure out which setting this could be.

I've been using Firefox for years because more popular browsers like Chrome and Edge have anti-features I dislike. In recent years, however, it feels like Mozilla has been more eager to follow trends set up by it's larger competitors even when those trends seem destructive to the principles that used to be at the core of this project. AI is the final straw for me. I don't understand why I would even use Firefox over Chrome if both are full of AI anyways. Even if AI wasn't a deal-breaker for me, I'm worried Firefox will make similar decisions later. I want out.

Is there any good and maintained alternatives to Firefox? Something like how Firefox was just a handful of years ago? Maybe a fork of an old version?

Hello, I'm using Firefox on Linux Mint. All of my homepage shortcuts have disappeared without the option to add them back. I tried toggling the shortcuts option on and off and nothing happens. Nothing also happens when checking and unchecking the sponsored shortcuts setting.

I am on Mac and our company uses Google Workspace tools. Over the past few weeks my google pages are continually loading and lose connectivity. When I run Chrome I never have this issues.

I ran developer tools network. I see lots and lots of ns_binding_aborted errors.

What can I do to ensure Google plays nicely with Firefox. I really don't want to use Chrome but this issue is making it hard to use.

I was, admittedly, perhaps doing a bit much on my ram at the time. but i didn't expect this. i didn't expect it at all.

screen went black a moment, firefox crashed. I figured it was fine! it crashes sometimes. it always restores my tab. the little bug report was there! willing and ready to restore my session for me. i let it restart fox.

i get the firefox sesion restore tab. but i already am filled with dread and upset. because i can see, in my peripherals, the blue button to restore session, is already greyed out. checking the little drop-down that shows you your session- [expletive]. empty.

God. what the [expletive]. I- what the [expletive]. it's a stupid thing to cry over, im sure. But some, most, of those tabs were YEARS old, from when i moved. and i've been having a hard time thinking about my old home lately. and now i've lost another bit of home. Some of those tabs may not even be in my [expletive] history anymore; i have a weird cut off of my oldest history in the history window, library window, thingy, where i can tell history was wiped, but i never wipe my history. i have no clue why this wipe even happened! Other then pushing it on my pc a bit much, but it's not been the first time i haven't paid attention; and it's restored before! what the [expletive]. Deeply upsetting. i've tried, even, to restore things myself; i have a 'upgrade.jsonlz4' file, few months old, but enough to have most of my tabs if it were stored inside; tried to rename it one of the recovery files, 'recovery.jsonlz4' and 'recovery.baklz4', then both, but doesn't work to get my windows back. This is awful.
