https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/https-upgrades SSA says Firefox will "upgrade" me, but their provided link doesn't go anywhere helpful. I tried doing several things I found on the help page https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/https-upgrades "Firefox connection upgrades - HTTP to HTTPS ", but I still get this "Forbidden Access".

I have tried to contact SSA (left an e-message) and will keep trying, but my God, they were impossible to get by phone even before Trump and Musk cut everything, so I'm not going to even try that. Can you help me?

I have no problem with previous version of ff. i noticed ask to save password not showing up in this version. usually if i fill in a form, ff will save the information for future use.

i have issue with ff, so i uninstall and reinstall. doesnt work. i add additional information in notepad attachment.

i am end user. nothing technical. only uses ublock, clearurl and audio equaliser. not heavy user. just light browsing facebook, google and regular website.

After Update to 138.0 my sideabar (bookmarks) is away. I can reactivate the sidebar on the left side as wished. But when I open a new Firefos Window or Tab the sidebar ist away again. What have they done, mozilla ?? How can I get mey bookmarks ALWAYS shown on left side of any Window or tab ?

Most other forums don't impose this type of limited categorization. What is the best way to proceed here when you topic here doesn't have an obvious fit? This is not uncommon. Should I be concerned that my question won't get to the right eyes/assistance needed?

Some venues offer the ability to add tags. Why not give us the ability to add "tags" if you believe some sort of pre-designation is necessary? Does that qualify for my choosing this topic?

When I opened Firefox all my webpages that I visited where there. Now it is just a blank screen and I have to go to webpages manually, there is no way to add them to my start screen. it just stays blank and search bar stays blue.

Just recently, the Bookmarks sidebar quit appearing automatically when I opened Firefox. In each new window, it can be selected manually.

I posted this thread under "Privacy and Security" because other threads on the Internet (some quite old) say this issue can be fixed by changing the Browsing history settings. I tried that, but got a strange result: the Bookmarks sidebar did appear automatically, but the webpage I was on would not display any images embedded in the page. And then I wondered: why must I eliminate Browsing History just to automatically display my bookmarks?

Any help would be deeply appreciated.

I just got a new pc, and added Firefox, and also imported all of my bookmarks. But I don't see any way to add tiles to the new tab page. There are no Tiles there, even after 3 days. I really like having the links I visit most listed in tiles on the new tab page. Why don't I have any and how can I add them? I don't see anything the settings, and the help answers don't help because there are no tiles to right click on.

Installed Firefox 138.0+Linuxmint1+Virginia as an update on my Linux mint computers, and now the bookmark toolbar is gone. I have right clicked the menu bar and set Bookmark toolbar to "always show", but it does not show. I have gone into settings as well. What did version 138.0 do with my bookmark toolbar?

Using 2025-04 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5055612) Firefox 138.0.1 (64-bit) and says it is up todate. I have looked at the about:config to find the browser.tabs.remote.autostart but it does not exist in the list of processes. I have AdBlocker running as an add on and turned off the duck duck go privacy essentials and still nothing stops these insane amount of processes clogging up my computer. right now, on this page there is only this tab open and there are 13 processes running. Please send real fix instructions- thank you

Does the Relay extension only work on Firefox or can it be added to other browsers? It seems like a useful tool, but I don't want to be locked into a single browser.

After updating to version 138.0, the browser put up an announcement page that informed me that I now have access to a great new feature, tab groups. It's actually a great addition to the browser IMO.

But it's absent. I read the announcement page, then the help page it links to. Every description is inapplicable to my browser, there us no drag-over behavior for tabs, there is no "add tab to new group" option when right clicking. I updated to 138.0.1, same thing. There is a topic in Connect.mozilla.org about tab groups as a beta feature, and it's been up in beta since March. But my browser does not have it.

Granted, the help page vaguely says that no all users will see this feature as it's rolled out gradually until May 6th. But why then tell me that I already have it on update? And why is it rolled out gradually if it's already been in beta?

Maybe after update, or i dont know why, but now. when youtube (or any other videoplayer) in fullscreen - taskbar menu is visible (Is on topscreen). In google chrome problem is not repeats. I'm using StartAllBack app for classic start menu, but till that day all was fine. I checked on two devices with firefox - the same problem (StartAllBack or windows version wasnt cahnged). I have tried every support advice I can find and no matter what I do passwords are not restoring. Here is what I have done: Opened about:profiles Opened profile folder Exit firefox transfer key4.db and signons.jstor files from backup to the new folder

I can not get Youtube to load on desktop Firefox. It works fine on the mobile website, app, and Chrome. I've tried clearing cookies and site data, removing extensions, resetting Firefox, and disabling hardware acceleration, and so far nothing has worked. Has this been happening to anyone else ?

When I hold control on my Mac and click on a Tab the box that opens has no option to rename or to group the tabs together....I am running Firefox 138. Clearly I am missing something. It offers a function that would save me a lot of time, I hope you can help

Can you allow someone to get on my computer to help me? Or do you have a phone number I can call safely to have someone go through things with me, if I need help? It stated when I put it on that is is "poor" in terms of what you did. Maybe I am doing something wrong??

Gmail will not open with Firefox as of Wednesday 5/18/2025. I do not have any adblock extensions running.

Gmail opens fine in Chrome.

Any suggestions?
