Recently clicked to update to the next version of Firefox. Then I get the message "Restart to Update Firefox." I restart Firefox but the message is still there when I click Help > About Firefox. It would appear that the update did not happen for some reason. Do I need to re-install Firefox to get around this problem?

When I open Firefox browser around ten several weeks old tabs are there. It is not set in the setting to open. I did many attempts to get rid of this nuisance and they are still here. I Created new profile, erased all profiles, removed Firefox, and reinstalled with option not to use old setting since new installation found that the fire fox has been installed. And frustration part that Mozilla do not offer (as I know) support to fix this problem. This glitch is hidden somewhere and the program always find it an put it back. I am not sure if what to do as I run out of options, other than turn to another browser after many years using only Firefox with no problems at all. Thanks Ned

Firefox suddenly and inexplicably started asking for my primary password twice when I start the browser. I am not in sync enabled mode. When I cancel the primary password request twice Firefox behaves normally. It does this even after I disable extensions and it does it when I start Firefox in troubleshooting safe mode. My other computer is not doing this.

I have a PDF that opens and displays correctly in Adobe as well as the Edge Browser.

However, when I attempt to open it in Firefox in Windows 11 it doesn't show the letter "i" - - - I swear I'm not making it up. I had a friend try to open it in her Firefox (Windows 10) the letter "i" is also missing.

I wish I could attach the actual PDF so others can test but I will add a screenshot to this message.

I can't access my Manage Accounts page. When signed in, I've clicked on 'manage accounts', (via Browser menu, and in Settings) and it opens the error message below. I've tried to open the page on 'troubleshoot mode', restarted Firefox several times, and logged out and in, several times. I'm always getting the same error message. I'm on Windows 10. I desperately need to update my email, as my log in is being deleted and this is the only page to do this from. Can anyone help?

Dear Sir/Madam I am unable to reach Jiohotstar website since last three days. The same site is accessible through Microsoft Edge and Chrome browsers. I also tried through Firefox browser on a different machine but could not succeed. I have cleared all the cookies and cache as well but it was of no use. Firefox is running with the latest version. Good afternoon. Since recently (probably after the last Firefox update to version 136.0) I have a problem: every time I start Firefox it requires the main password set in the settings. Before this problem did not occur, no settings were changed.

I read the official article on this topic, but the recommendations described there did not help me. I turned off the password, logged out of the browser, turned it back on, logged out again, and nothing. When I turned it back on, still at every startup it asked for the password.

I also noticed that every time I start it up, the loading circle next to the cursor spins, like something is happening. Can you tell me what it could be and how to get rid of this problem?

OS: Windows 11 24H2.

My Firefox browser has been crashing for a while now (Years). It's fine playing YouTube and BBC iPlayer but when I advance the time marker to a different part of the stream or video, it crashes. It also has a problem when playing slots. It seems to crash a lot making it impossible to play.

I have tried using Firefox in Troubleshooting Mode but the same things happen.

I'm facing this problem of sound disappearance. I was casually browsing on YouTube when suddenly my sound went off. I thought maybe it was the internet but no everything was okay I also checked my speaker it was ok. Then I found out Firefox was unable to generate any sound. I tried to re-install but didn't work. Can you give me a solution?

I factory reset my pc and i logged back in to my firefox account and all my saved log ins and book marks are gone did i loose them for ever or is there a way to get them back?

help me restore all tabs if possible, there were more than 200 tabs i need to restore them. i tried to restore them through journal and other profiles but there were empty tabs there too.

In Firefox, it's possible to store logins, and then assign a Master Password to protect those stored logins.

In the newest version of Firefox desktop for Windows (136.0 - 64 bit) - it asks for the Master Password twice, even when only showing a blank start tab.

Normally, it will first asks for the Master Password, when you browse to a website, that has a stored login. Is it a bug or a new security feature?? - anyway, I find it very, very annoying.

Hi, browser movie streaming on Amazon.com Prime posts an error over every movie as of last night that states it can't play HD content due to wrong OS or Browser not being up to date. Then it defaults to SD bit rates.

I'm not the only one with the error on Amazon's forum.

The "error" which is more like a warning, appears as a bubble in the lower right corner of the streaming content (movies specifically).

Checking my router logs shows that all is well in the badlands, no warnings, no dropped packets. And as I said, streaming movies in HD was just working last week and no other website I visit is affected.

I use DRM content on this PC everyday. I don't have issues with any other streaming platform or websites. I have cleared cookies and stored data I have rebooted my system a ridiculous amount of times. I have not reset Firefox but I have uninstalled and reinstalled it, and imported all of my synced info.

HARDWARE SPECS: Windows 11 pro PC AMD Thread ripper 2920. Gigabyte Designare X399 board. 64 GB of I think patriot ram. A single m.2 Pcie as my C drive. AMD 6900XT graphics card with latest drivers. 1000 watt corsair rm 1000i - stable power. All windows drivers are latest and stable. I don't have any warnings in my system devices. I have the security feature for TPS 2.0 enabled in bios or I wouldn't be able to boot Windows 11 pro. My system is not overclocked. I can ping everyone and everything I choose to. I use Quad 9 as my https DNS. I DON"T dual boot my hardware. I don't use a virtual machine to run windoze.

I ask you, dear reader and developer extraordinaire, What have you all done to my precious internet and web? What magical and simple switch can I toggle to get Amazon prime HD streaming back?

Obviously it is Amazon services refusing to stream in HD over a browser interface. But why suddenly? This sure appears to be some kind of dark social engineering scheme to see how many are affected and how much they can get away with. But I have to check with you as I am not a programmer nor a designer.

How to add translation icon to the toolbar? The toolbar does not show the translation icon and Manage Toolbar does not show an icon for it. I am running Firefox 136.0 on Windows 10 Pro.

I've had to reinstall Firefox because of several viruses. I have a password and an account recovery key. How do I restore my Firefox account, bookmarks, and passwords?

Firefox 136.0. Previously: 1) No search engine sign in urlbar (left side). 2) When I pressed "en." in urlbar, it supported one-time go to Wikipedia search. For this I needed to press down arrow one time. Alternatively, with up arrow, I could move to any other search engine from the configured list. Now: 1) Search engine is present in urlbar for any entering into it. 2) To switch I have to press another selection (as suggested Wikipedia) with mouse, either to left or to down (where suggested) of the urlbar.

I want to return the old style with selection that works with keyboard.
