WHY THE F IS MY FIREFOX CRASHING EVERY DAY FOR THE LAST MONTH? WHAT IS GOING ON< AND HOW CAN I CORRECT IT? THIS IS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, AND IF IT CAN'T BE FIXED PLEASE TELL ME A BETTER BROWSER>....

I have installed the German language extension . I can go to a sight written in German and it translates fine . THE SECOND I USE ANY SUB MENU WITHIN THE SIGHT IT DOES NOT TRANSLATE . right clicking and "translate" does not work since "translate" does not exist on the tab .

The firefox translate feature only works on the initial screen !

I can find no setting to fix this

Using OSX 12.7.5 on two laptops and a Mac Pro. Selling one of the laptops. Removed personal data for Firefox by 'trashing' the Firefox folder in Libaray/Application support. Then disscovered that the 'Privacy/Security' folder in both the laptop and Mac Pro were now empty. Nothing else affected. Went into TimeMachine and restored the entire Firefox folder from a recent backup. Privacy/Security folder not restored. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi, I am trying to access a website, and I keep getting 'Secure Connection Failed', with the error codes: ' PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR', or 'SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG'. This only happens in 'Firefox', 'Microsoft Edge' and 'Google Chrome' load without any issues. I have the same problem on PC and Android. I have tried everything that I could from the information I received on the internet and here in the help forums, from disabling proxy, firewalls, on the browser and on my PC. I have added exceptions to HTTPS, disabled 'Enhanced Tracking Protection'. Nothing seems to work. If you could help me this would be greatly appreciated, as Mozilla Firefox is my trusted browser. Thank you very much.

When I open a locally downloaded pdf in firefox, the background is displayed as what was previously displayed on that portion of the screen, and scrolling simply overlays moved text over what was previously displayed. Does not appear in screenshots. One of the images shows what the pdf looks like prior to scrolling, and one after.

I am unable to view "Conversations" within the Yahoo Finance Stock Quote portal. This feature displays real time discussion of the security and has thousands of responses. Noticed this when using the Microsoft 365 browser that this is not a problem. My PC is a Dell with Windows 10.

When I use 'Manage Bookmarks' and the Library to delete bookmarks and bookmark folders in addition to cleaning up duplicate bookmarks, the deleted folders and bookmarks automatically reappear in my Bookmark sidebar 1-2 hours later.

Initially, I had sync on but did not have Bookmarks checked for syncing. Deleted bookmarks and folders still reappeared. Then I turned off sync for this browser / machine. Deleted bookmarks and folders still reappeared.

I tried to see if there was a setting that enabled automatic restores of bookmark backups - but could not find one to turn off. I have tried refreshing the installation and starting again - using a one-time sync from another machine - but continue to be unable to permanently delete old / obsolete / duplicate bookmarks and folders.

I've also tried 2 Bookmark clean-up extensions. While I am able to delete duplicates and empty folders using these tools, 1-2 hours later they are back in the Bookmark sidebar.

Is there anyway to prevent the automatic restoration of the Bookmark Library?

After update 126 "open previous windows and tabs" no longer works. It is checked but open tabs are not reopened when firefox is restarted. Using macOS Ventura 13.6.7

On my PC's Firefox wont connect to my work servers"DQS Worldwide". I have tried to connect to,"auditcenter.dqsus.com". The page times out and wont connect. It works with Opera and Yandex but not fire fox. I have tried to connect in Michigan,California and Europe. Can you fix this issue so that I can connect to "auditcenter.dqsus.com" and use Firefox. There are login pages that have saved usernames I want to clear but am unable to. I have gone to settings. Under passwords I have everything unchecked. I have examined "Saved passwords" and it is showing "No passwords saved". I have tried with all of the Passwords options checked and unchecked but I all ways see"No passwords saved". Please help.

I am having problems playing a particularly demanding video from YouTube (https://youtu.be/-W_nFlIAWFM) which runs at 4K/30 fps. It is a video taken from a drone flying over the Matterhorn in Europe. Here is my configuration: 1. I have a 200Mb connection to the internet and bandwidth testing confirms that it runs at a consistent 195 - 202 Mb. 2. I am using Firefox 126.0 on a dual boot machine running Ubuntu 22.04 LTS and Windows 10 (both OSes show similar stuttering and pausing). 3. My hardware is a Gigabyte Aorus Z690i motherboard with 32 GB of RAM and an Intel i5-12600K processor and an NVidia GeFroce RTX 2060 Super graphics card. I have tried disabling "Use hardware acceleration" in Firefox and also disabling all add-ons and rebooting. This hasn't resolved the problem. When I watch the same video in Google Chrome, it seems to display a much slower frame rate than 30fps but doesn't stutter. I have concluded that this video must be a super demanding one to render. There are many picture elements changing constantly. But is there a way to watch this at 4K/30fps with it playing smoothly and at the correct frame rate?

I am curious as to why Mozilla/Firefox doesn't seem interested in matching Chrome for addons for popular dropshipping apps such as CJDropshipping, DSers and AutoDS. These are well catered for in Chrome and allow easy import of products into stores such as Shopify. They save a lot of time for already busy store owners and staff yet Firefox loyalists are forced to switch over and use Chrome to make life easier and save time. For someone who has been using Firefox across both Linux and Windows since it's 2004 launch, it is galling and almost physically debillitating to have to resort to this each time. If I were any good at coding I would surely fix this serious shortcomming.

Please Mozilla look to this and provide us with better options.
