I was injured and in the hospital a long period. my phone number was changed by my daughter from 9282429368 to 9282428180 my email changed because cable one closed all their accounts. It now is ehd@reagan.com. Now I cannot log into my facebook account no matter what I do. It is the way I get in touch with my friends and relatives. What happened to my account? I was asked to log in with my name, Eileen Dueck and click on my picture to get in but that does not work. Nothing else works either. Please find my account and restore it.cannot l

When using some websites that ask for browser permission to use your location, the location is wrong.

I recently moved more than 2000 miles, and when I use Google Maps in Firefox on my Windows laptop, its "current location" (as in, the blue dot that appears once I give Google Maps permission to use my location) is always at my old address rather than my new one.

After some digging, I discovered https://mylocation.org/, which was very helpful in that it informed me of two different types of location lookup. One of them, based on my IP address, works like a charm and shows me at my new address. The other, called "Browser Geolocation", shows my old address. And I've confirmed that this information varies from browser to browser: Firefox is wrong, Chrome is correct, Edge is correct, Brave is wrong.

This must mean that the browser stores some kind of information somehow about my location, right? How do I update this so that it matches the public IP address location?

I am running a Mac Mini with the M1 chip. I recently updated the OS to Sonoma (14.5) from Monterey and find that the type on Linked In is tiny, only about 7 pt. My FF is 126.0. My minimum font size on Firefox is set to 14 pt. If I make it larger, like 20, Linked In is readable, but all my other sites are too large and hard to navigate.

Your automatic reader thinks I'm running 10.5. I've never run 10.5 on this Mac.

LI says it is a Firefox problem, which it is, because the site reads fine on Safari.

I know that there are sites which don't work on Firefox, like Chase Bank, which is a drag. Please don't tell me that LI is another one.

Somebody, please help.

Firefox is synced on all my computers. Same version. Same extensions. I can't login on my primary desktop as of last night 5/23/24. I can login/watch Prime on my laptop. My desktop gives me the attached error.

Shoot!! I just filled this out, and somehow, it reverted me back to This screen again!! I am not a programmer or IT Guy. What I am is a person that is Very alert to sudden changes in my experiences. I retired 14 years ago, as a Manager in a Manufacturing industry. Very familiar using desktop. For some reason, about a couple weeks ago, some of my sites have begun using google adds, over and over. When I click on the "X", wants to know why, etc. I use Malware Bytes, scans every day. Does NOT discover any malware, but I KNOW something has changed to allow the bombardment! Is it possible it's just a single site that I had to change and log in to? Even if so, WHY doesn't Malware stop them? Should I try a system restore to weeks ago? I am on here Every day.so I'm pretty cognizant of changes! ADVICE PLEASE!! Bruce Pierce

Everytime I open Firefox a new window opens suggesting I add the AVG extention, when I do I get a notification that AVG does not support that extention for Firefox. Why is the nonsupported extention being recomened

I had implement service worker for install resources and activate service worker and fetch the resources at offline.

When online service worker worked and once serve the resources to the cache then it will be stooped automatically

but when offline service worker block the local host and can not cache resource from cache. I am using firefox

126 version on window 11 system

Any settings are required or help me what will do for offline working in firefox using service worker

Hello, I was using Firefox to read my email at privateemail.com. When I attempted to save one of the emails to my Macbook (using an option in the window displaying the email), Firefox launched Apple Mail on my MacOS system. Apple Mail opened up with the email in one of its windows.

That is not the way it worked in the past. When picking "save to computer" in the web-mail interface, Firefox would open a SaveAs dialog box and allow me to directly save the mail to my computer.

I tested this behavior using Safari instead of Firefox, and that behaved as I expected. That is, Safari opened a SaveAs dialog box for me to use.

Is there a configuration parameter that was changed in a recent Firefox update? I am running FF 126.0 on MacOS 14.4.1.

When updating Firefox, I my Avast antivirus often pops up with a Threat Secured window: Is there some nefarious code in your updater? I attached a screen grab of the warning window.

Hi there, Can anyone help me please. Ive been using Firefox forever and yesterday I signed into a Gmail account to send an email to someone, I typed in who it was to, then subject and then when I went to type into the body of text, the keyboard wont work.

I thought there was an issue with the keyboard but I then I tried to type in issues on firfox and loads of text is missing, I basically cant use firefox at the moment as Im only viewing half the info.

Ive been sent a credit not from someone and this is what its viewing like.

I didnt change anything that Im aware of

For years I've watched General Hospital at ABC.com using FF as my browser. Recently, however, the videos won't play; all I'm getting are a lot of zeros (for playtime etc) and the settings gear & other options on the lower right are missing. This is happening with all shows on their site.

I'm not getting any Error Messages except when trying to watch "ABC Live" where I still can't watch but am getting an error message. I've cleared my cookies and cache, made sure the DRM content switch is on and that abc.com is allowed to leave cookies. I've also contacted their support staff but they haven't been able to help.

I'm not having any problem when I use a different browser. At least I'm not missing any episodes but I'd much rather NOT use Chrome.

I've included some screenshots below to help describe what's happening.

Looking forward to any advice that comes my way.

Firefox doesn't allow a web message to be sent but Google Chrome does. After filling out the form at: SPECTRUM URGENT: FUNDING FOR THE AFFORDABLE CONNECTIVITY PROGRAM IS RUNNING OUT, I could not send the message because I got a message saying, "Please enter a 5 digit zip code." but I did enter a 5 digit zip code! I copied the URL into a tab of Google Chrome and there was no zip code error so I was able to send my message.
