My Wife's computer - still on Windows 10 - says it can't start Firefox as it is still running, hitting the "close Firefox now" button just returns us to the same screen. I tried to uninstall and reinstall Firefox it tried to do a "reinstall" it says her profile is no longer available, while inconvenient she still should be able to start it up, but it still gives me the same message. that it is still running and needs closed. Trying to "close it doesn't do anything. I have restarted several times and even did a shut down and restart. Nothing seems to work. I assume some "stub" of Firefox is out there in the system/cache making Firefox think it is is still active but I can't find it to shut it down. Where do I need to go to "end task" on this phantom Firefox?

Other information: 1. We have Norton Security software installed, if that matters. 2. The same seems to happening to Thunderbird, but maybe I need to go to another help forum for that? 3. I am entering this issue from my computer that seems to be just fine with Firefox, so can't send browser data as it is irrelevant to the issue (it's on a different computer and install instance.

Whenever I go to a Google page (tested on Google.com Docs, Sheets, Forms) the page crashes. The issue started sometime around this afternoon.

My old email keeps showing up when Firefox is trying to auto fill email. How do I change that in Firefox. Same with addresses, My mailing address is shown in many different ways, all variants of my actual address.

Also, I have some kind of browser hijacker (BING) that keeps directing me to Bing website. I have tried the standard procedures as outlined, bu t still BING often redirects my searches. I am also working with my anti-virus people to try to correct, but thought I would ask you as well. I have a new PC running Kubuntu 22.04, with Mozilla Firefox 120.0.1 (64 bit) installed. Standard, the system window title bar was hidden. But I wanted access to the "Move to desktop" menu and wanted the title in the title bar. So, in "Customize toolbar" I checked "Title bar". The title bar reappeared, but a complete border along the Firefox window became inaccessible, and when clicking in that zone, it effectively clicked in the window behind. In particular, the complete menu bar is inaccessible, as well as the scroll bar on the left and in the bookmarks sidebar the fold/unfold. And Mozilla Thunderbird 115.5.0 has the same annoying behaviour. Even when hovering over some menus in the Mozilla window, you can sometimes see reactions from the window under the Mozilla window. On older Kubuntu computers (up to 18.04) with older versions of Firefox (up to 113.0.2) and Thunderbird (up to 102.11.0) I do not have that problem. How can I get at the same time access to both the system title bar and the menu bar ?

When I visit the web site virtueonline.org using Firefox browser, the Disqus comment section does not appear below articles on the site. Sometimes, when I go in and out of the article, the Disqus comment section will appear, but not always. When I use Microsoft Edge, the Disqus comment sections appear.

Why can't Firefox copy text to the clipboard anymore? It won't copy text from a web page, from a URL, or even from about:support "Copy text to clipboard"!!! I'm using version 1.22 64 bit on windows 11. I've reinstalled Firefox but it doesn't make a difference. I've tried "Troubleshoot Mode" and it's still broken!!!

I can paste into Firefox but something has broken copy!

The layout on the Roblox website, https://www.roblox.com Has appeared to break, I've seen the website on Google chrome and Microsoft Edge and it's good to go. I am not aware as to how this has happened. I have disabled every Addon I have, This issue is not caused by the Addons I have installed.

If i am on amazon for example and an item has more than 1 option, Honey presents drop down selection box so you can choose which one to drop list The issue is the drop down box never opens when you click on it, doesn't matter where on it you click, it wont open. I have cleared cache, reinstalled honey and nothing helps. I have multiple desktop pc's all running tumbleweed and they all have this issue. If i load Chromium that works ok, but i use Firefox and not Chromium. I'm using openSuse Tumbleweed (latest update).

I wish to save my bookmarks in alphabetical order, first the folders and then any bookmarks that have not yet been allocated to a specific folder. This used to be possible as I gave reorganised the older bookmark folders are in alphabeical order previously. This seems to be no longer posible. I can reorganise them in View but cannot save them. TL;DR : Disqus comments used to work while using privacy Strict mode now it doesn't.

After years of it working out of the get-go while using Strict mode up till recently (about a year ago this was really low on my priority list) refused to work I though it was my Ad blocker was causing issues but after setting it in the filters to allow and even after turning it off still no dice.

Removed all add-ons tried again still Disqus comment section refused to load in the websites I regularly visit. So after giving up, I just look around in the browser setting to see if there is anything that may cause conflict with certain scripts from running.

I updated to the latest version of firefox and am not pleased with the translation tool automatically detecting the wrong language on sites. Is there any way to fully disable it? I currently have no languages installed yet it pops up offering to "translate".

Firefox will not allow my to post comments on Yahoo. I have no issues with Chrome or Safari. I get the following error message: Your comment failed to publish. Retry
