How can I suppress a recurring pop-up in Firefox that claims my computer is infected with a virus and it instructs me to download McAfee Antivirus to clear it out. I've done multiple scans with my Norton Antivirus which showed I had no viruses. The fake pop-ups appear to be coming from Firefox.

Since the latest Firefox upgrade I get about 30 pop up ads from you scaring me about security. I have run a diagnostic and am confident I do not have any issues. I will soon leave you all together despite the hassle of chaging

My cat jumped on my keyboad and Firefox detected 'unusual activity' She probably hit a combination of keys which lead to said activity. Instantly, I had to verify whether I was a human. I did, but really, it was my cat. Neither my cat, nor myself have bad intentions. I just thought Firefox security should know that these things might happen.

I hope that my cat's activity didn't compromise my account. Maybe 'unusual activity' should be less strict, though I do understand that Firefox must be vigilant. Maybe it would be a good idea to let users describe what happened, before sending Captcha?

I recently, was my own fault not protecting my visa card but got scammed, I chopped the card but yet somehow someone accessed my amazon account and tried purchasing something just the other day. I only use this laptop for amazon. My concern is how to stop people from getting access to this browser through shared wifi and the person got into this laptop through the smart tv in the part of shared accomodation. I matched the serial number of the device to the device that appeared in devices in my control panel which I never authorized to access my laptop. I dont allow any access to my "network" to anyone but somehow someone got access. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. And everytime I tether with my cell phone its alwys a new network that I get asked by microsoft if I want to allow discoverable which I dont, but I usually have 80 -100 networks due to every log in with teher and wifi booster. Hi, I am getting a message about Java being blocked it may be being blocked and it is happening often. I need to be able to turn off what is doing this. So I can see what is on the sites I am trying to use. Thanks Dave

There is a program called TENS (Attached image) that is used by the Dept. of War that was developed by USAF. I would love to have a Firefox version that does the same thing on a bootable flash drive. I would use this only for banking, medical, IRS, SSA, etc. I am sure others would like it for different reasons, so include a statement to users that IP only log file is generated and state that this is for security/quality control/legal accountability of Firefox purposes and that this data is saved on your server.

This past Friday morning, May 29, I tried to access www.healingwell.com which I have always been able to do. But this time Firefox gave me a red screen with message: "Firefox blocked this page because it might try to trick you into installing programs that harm your browsing experience, for example, by changing your homepage or showing extra ads on sites you visit." And same message again over the weekend. But yesterday, Monday June 1, I was able to access that website, and all seemed normal. Why did Firefox give me that message on Friday, but not yesterday or today?

I have been using Firefox for 20 years. My company Ameriprise Financial has uninstalled it and when I try to reinstall, they immediately uninstall it. They tell me there are security vulnerabilities with Firefox. WTH Firefox?

They want me to us Google Chrome now instead.

I am unable to log into my energy provider, when I log into my bank I can't use some features like seeing all my transactions, I can't log into Twitter, I can't play anything from Substack.

Just like google, which I ceased using, your company does the same thing, closing off sites so I cannot connect without asking first. Sites of President Trump, of my companies I need to pay, sites that should be safe you prevent me from using so I cannot even pay my accounts. Set the protection mode so I have a right to say yes or no, so if I want in I can proceed or tell me you won't and I'll cease FOx also and go to hotmail and see if they're any better. Thank you.

I log into a secure web account, use user ID and password, go through 3 rd party verification and gain access.

When I logout it takes back to the sites Home page.

If I decide to login again by using the login icon the website immediately logs me backin with No requirement for user ID, Password or 3 rd party verification.

I am trying to determine is Firefox holding this information (User ID, Password and Third party verification code) and auto logging me in or have I not really logged out.

If I completely close Firefox this does not occur.
