I can access every website on my Firefox browser apart from a Holiday Forum I use all the time

I would be grateful for some help please. I have contacted the site Moderators and they confirm no changes have been made at their end.

It's not a website breakage since I can use Edge. Since the last update Xcel Energy cannot be accessed with Firefox because of a PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR.

Before updating Firefox to 123.0.1 (64-bit) + MacOS Sonoma, I could use FIDO2 on OnlyKey and login to my proton mail. Now, however something has changed on Firefox that I get presented with two prompts to touch my usb key, but the key itself doesn't respond to the second prompt and login fails.

I first get this prompt as before. I select 'Authenticate' and would be presented with the second picture. Since my key is not expecting to be touched, nothing happens when I touch it and login fails with the message displayed in the last picture.

For years had bookmarks in folders showing on Bookmark Toolbar. Today they are all gone. Still in my Bookmarks on the drop down Menu, but not appearing on the Toolbar. Please help. Can't seem to drop and drag them there. Also, the Bookmarks Toolbar keeps disappearing every time I go to look at a new tab.

This is going to start out sounding like a Google problem, but please read the whole thing. I have a new Windows 11 Dell, and I normally run Firefox. When I wasn't able to attach a file to a gmail email I went to Google Account Help. It suggested that I delete cookies and cache, which I have now done several times. Now the problem is that I can't get to Gmail from Account Help. I have deleted everything that Firefox History will let me delete, and no matter how I try to get to it I cannot get to Gmail. It keeps me in Google Account Help.

Here's why I think I have a Firefox problem. In frustration I opened MS Edge. It let me get to Gmail, and it let me attach the file to my email. It seems to me that if I were having a Google problem, it wouldn't matter which browser I was in. As soon as it saw my email address it would put me in the same place. That's my reasoning anyway.

Hello, Firefox keeps crashing every 1 or 2 minutes. thats a new Endeavouros installation and firefox was pre-installed. system is fully updated.

Amazon search has disappeared from browser and not included in list of search engines. I want amazon.uk not U.S. and I do not know where about:config is.

I have some new issues after a recent update.

The tab bar fades when the window isn't focused. I certainly didn't have it set to do that before, and I have had no luck finding the setting for it. Tell me what the setting is?

Another I'd like to know the setting for, is the behavior of the address bar. It used to always be white, and now it's gray unless I'd entering something in it. I'd like to switch the setting back to the other way.

I've tried hunting for the settings for these things, but it has not been intuitive for me, and I guess I keep overlooking the pertinent settings somehow. Please tell me what parts of the settings page, or what about:config entries, will get things put back as I had them?

Everytime I try to open a tab on my Firefox window, it loads for a second before a blank screen saying that my tab has crashed. The only times I can open a new tab is on a private window.

My old device has broken and I was wondering if there's any way to transfer the open tabs from it to my new device?

I've signed in to my account already and it ported over my history as well as bookmarks but I don't see a way to port over the open tabs? I'm not sure if they were synced and I can't go back to sync them now as the previous device is broken

Hello there. I'm used to pressing Super(Win key) + Grave(`) to type "`" because the Grave key itself is a global shortcut for opening the terminal window. It works as expected in the other applications, but not in Firefox input fields. If the site is capturing the key presses, it will handle the super + key as usual. For example, GitHub will surround the selected word with ` symbols on grave key press. This problem is not limited to super + grave, but any other letter. For example, Super + q is expected to produce the letter "q", but in Firefox it produces nothing.

I'm trying to identify why the Super + key behavior in Firefox is different from other systems and if I should open a bug or not. Maybe this is the same bug as https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1626609. Thunderbird has the same problem.

Hello – How to recover Google Search results without every result being an image, without blocking every image either.

I want the old style, where an image from Wikipedia was shown when available, and occasionally others. Whatever algorithm(s) were used before the 123 update are what I want, preferably without reverting to Firefox 122.

Every result an image is wasting so much of my time that I've resorted to searching in Opera (which means at least 80% of my internet time).

Cursory examination of Firefox settings offered no relief.

pdf files fail to download in Firefox, but not other browsers. In particular these sites:

However, I can download from non-password protected sites like:

https://www.irs.gov/ https://www.ssa.gov/ https://www.sec.state.ma.us/

Downloads work in other browsers. I've checked various items in the settings and none of them help.

I like Firefox, but if it won't, I will go elsewhere.

I am not able to load any games on Facebook using Firefox,the game main page loads and the spinning loading just stops and goes no further. All other browsers do not have this problem, chrome loaded fine, Microsoft Edge loaded fine. I was able to get it to work for a short bit last night on Firefox by totally removing Firefox, including folders last night, shut down, tried today and issue has returned. I have tried all the steps in the forums, nothing is working, why is it only Firefox doing this?

Hi, When I use a shortcut for a bookmark (e.g., typing "yt" to activate my youtube search bookmark with URL set to "https://www.youtube . com/results?search_query=%s" and shortcut set to "yt") it opens in a new tab. I am in the habit of making a new tab before using a shortcut to search using a bookmark. How can I change the shortcut bookmark behavior to open in the same tab where i typed the query into the URL bar?

Hi jscher2000, I want to thank you for your advice concerning a problem I had downloading Firefox to my Windows 10 laptop. I tried to follow your advice but was not successful. In the end, I googled "what if Firefox doesn't install". It took me to a website, https://www.makeuseof.com/fix-firefox-not-installing-windows , which took me to an article entitled "8 Fixes to Try if Firefox Won't Install on Windows". I tried #1 and #2 without success. #3, Temporarily Disable Your Antivirus Software, worked. Firefox is up and running. Feel free to share this with anyone who has a similar problem. The latest version of Firefox I have keeps making changes to my computer every time I open the program. I have to approve the changes each time, why is the program suddenly doing this? What does it have to change on my hard drive? I don't like programs making changes to my computer when they open they are usually not to my benefit and add clutter to my computer. Please answer, so far no replies to any of my questions!!
