Hello Mozilla Support Team,

Since one of the last updates firefox Download Setting seems not work properly...

Into Settings > Files and Applications > Downlods > Save files to option is ALWAYS on, even when "Aways ask you where to save files" option box is checked. When I open a PDF in view mode with Firefox, it automatically download it to the location described into "Save Files to"..in my case Desktop. It seems that the "Save Files to" option doesn't gray out when "Always ask..." option box is checked.

Do you have any idea why I can't chose just one of the two options?

Hay, I just switched over from chrome and there is one very important thing missing. However its a pretty easy thing to add. A digital clock as part of the browsers UI (To the right of the searchbar in my case) Chrome has a Addon for that sadly firefox does not. So id like to Request for you to add a digital clock to the Customize Firefox Page. The size of flexible space would do or slightly smaller and let us change collor and 24 or 12 hour please. If that feature gets added i can finally get of chrome

(menu bar) Firefox > Preferences I see this in hundreds of links for help. But it does NOT exist. Please do NOT tell me to go to menu bar and click on Firefox. It is NOT there. It just is NOT there. There is no tab, link, drop down or ANY thing that says Firefox. There is no tab, link, drop down or ANY thing that says Preferences. The menu bar is there. File Edit History Bookmarks Tools Help. But NO Firefox and NO preferences. I want my page to show the |||\ at the top. But I do not want the bookmarks tool bar at the top. I do NOT want Picture in Picture to show at the top. I do not want the bookmark star to show inside the url. Where and how do I fix these things???

The New Tab page includes some shortcuts by default, including Amazon Search (see "@amazon" in the attached picture), which I dismissed shortly after installation. (The only options are "Pin/Unpin" and "Dismiss".)

However, I want to create such shortcut for another search engine, like https://duckduckgo.com/?q=%s&iax=images&ia=images and I don't see the option - even if I set the URL to include "%s" and the name of the pinned shortcut begins with "@", as with smart keyword search and the Amazon search shortcut, respectively.

I am an advanced user and don't mind manually editing files in my profile folder (after I back it up of course).

But apparently I'm not using it correctly.

When I close a tab, it defaults to the tab on the right, which, to me, IMO, is counter intuitive.

And just as bad, when I restart the browser, it opens to the tab on the right much of the time, instead of the current active tab.

Is there something I can do can do about this?

I went into setting and made sure spellcheck is enabled and it is, but there are no other options there. I did exactly what it said on your help article and right clicked in the text box on multiple different web pages and there is NO OPTION. It should not be this complicated.

The settings page just shows a number, but no units as on my laptop's default font settings page. I think that they are pixels, but I'm not sure. I want to set my font sizes in points, so that the text will appear the same size on my laptop's screen as on my much larger external monitor.

My chrome extension is working fine and i want to make it compatible with Firefox as well. In the extension i have used eval method that is throwing error "EvalError: call to eval() blocked by CSP".

I also tried to add below configuration in the manifest 3 file but still getting the CSP issue. ('wasm-unsafe-eval' is also not working.)

I recently refreshed Firefox and now I am having trouble streaming some news channels from my TV provider. The message I get is "FIREFOX IS INSTALLING COMPONENTS NEEDED TO PLAY THE AUDIO OR VIDEO ON THIS PAGE. PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER."

I went to my Settings under DRM and found some articles on how to watch DRM content. I dug a little deeper and went to Manage Your Plugins and noticed two Enabled Plugins - OpenH264 Video Codec and Widevine Content Decryption Module provide by Google.

Under the Widevine plugin, there is a message highighted in yellow that reads - Widevine Content Decryption Module will be installed shortly.

It's been like this for 2 days and I don't know what to do next.

Firefox is supposed to use a 12- or 24-hour format for input depending on region settings or locale.

I think I should see a 24-hour input format. Firefox only ever presents me with 12-hour input format -- with AM/PM selectors. Chrome, by comparison, presents 24-hour input format, out of the box, as expected. Is this a localisation bug in Firefox, or am I holding it wrong?

I shall try to upload some screenshots, but in case that does not work, here is a text representation of my state.

I am on a Mac. The Mac is configured for en_AU. (I believe 24-hour clocks are used in the en_AU locale.) Just to be sure, the "Time format: 24-Hour Time" checkbox has been enabled in the Mac's Language & Region system preferences. The following command, entered at a shell, produces the desired output format.

All other applications on my computer honour this preference to the best of my knowledge.

Why do I still see 12-hour input formats in Firefox?

Is it possible to disable this notification after I install an addon, or at least make it dispensary after 2 seconds without me needing to click anything, make it smaller even?

When pressing the up arrow key with text in the URL bar, the bottom suggestion is selected, rather than returning the text cursor to the beginning. It used to place the insertion point at the very beginning of whatever text was in there, and then another up arrow press would select the bottom suggestion, but now it instantly wraps to the very bottom selection. It's quite frustrating when trying to modify a search query - now you either have to hold the left arrow key, or accurately click with the mouse

For instance, say I type "cloud" in the URL box, but figure "storm cloud" would be a better search. I can't just press the up arrow to add "storm ", because pressing the up arrow once now just replaces the entire line of text with "https://soundcloud.com/", completely ruining my search. I'm pretty sure this was recently changed with an update. Is there any hope of changing it back?
