I forgot my primary password and understand that resetting it will wipe all my passwords. Does this wipe the passwords locally or across all devices ? Will I able able to use my phone to sync my passwords back to my desktop after they are wiped from said desktop?

I was creating a primary password and for some reason it "glitched" or "stuttered" and it created the password without me knowing what it was. I tried several combinations that could be close to the one I was inputting. Can I uninsall Firefox and reset the password?
