Is there anyway to configure network.http.rcwn.enabled to false via the policy located in the ''C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\distribution'' folder?

I found the new "Close Duplicate Tabs" and would like to suggest the following, for improvement for power users.

1) It should be possible to configure an option for what should happen with the duplicate tabs. For example: it should be possible to move all the Duplicate Tabs to a new Window - so I can view all these tabs and compare them (and close them if I want that) Reason: I use a web interface to a database for documentation and sometimes I have more than one tab open with the same article - but the software behind it doesn't notice, it just stores what comes out and so it would happen that an article is accidentally overwritten.

2) According to what criteria are the duplicate tabs compared - can you set options here?

Regular download works fine, but when I try to download attachment in outlook.live.com website, it didn't ask me where to store it, but simply places it in my default location, while at the same time opening the attachment even though I only want to download the file.

I know it may sound a bit strange, but I would like to know WHY an extension is not allowed in a private window, so I might understand the reason why I'm not able to diagnose an issue I'm having with fucking amazon who has their cart all over the place for a misconfiguration in firefox that either I did or an extension is causing, however I'm unable to figure out which because I can't enable extensions in private windows, where the issue does not happen, so I'm not able to reproduce and isolate the problem. Specifically, this article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/extensions-private-browsing Plus, I was kinda expecting I could run STG in private too, since it offer such nice and rich grouping and memory management features vanilla FF does not (PS: please take inspiration and bake it inside!!) I have 2 laptops, one for work and one personally. I was looking to set-up firefox on my personal laptop as well but noticed I cannot open developer console on a specific element by pressing 'q' anymore after right clicking.

This is a significant feature and I would like to keep using it. Is it possible to enable this feature on my personal computer as well? Since it is still enabled on my work device.

I'd like to put the icon on my toolbar to access it when I need to, but I can't find any way to add it to the toolbar. All articles I found with the same kinds of questions are over a year old and for old versions of Firefox. I have Windows 10 Firefox version 128.

I set up a custom search extension and am trying to use 'z' as the keyword.

It doesn't work. If I use anything else, it works fine, I just can't use 'z'.

Since I use 'z' in Chrome, I'd like to keep it consistent.

I don't see any other search engines using that keyword.

Is there something I'm missing here? Why can't I seem to use 'z' as a search engine keyword?

I stopped using Firefox because of the level of BS Big-TEch involvement and lack of PRIVACY. I've been using BRAVE. But they are'nt much better. So I'll switch between as I feel fit. Just so you know. My recent irritation is Shortcuts. I like the speed and convenience of CHOOSING & USING my shortcuts.

I do NOT like the option of "sites you save or VISIT" That is NO option. I DO not want YOU choosing to save every site I VISIT and loading onto my screen. This is not a choice. Just because I visit a site WHY do you save it to shortcuts? It's a PITA deleting crap I don't want.

You should ONLY save the sites I CHOOSE to add.

Not rocket science. WHY DO YOU CHOOSE TO DO THIS?

MALWARE ? When you are collecting more data than you know what to do with it is Oppressive.

I can see my current usage of Firefox being cut short again at the point of annoyance with this parasitic tech.

Oh and the proccess of creating an account and passwords blah blah just to ask a question that changes sweet FA...... No wonder there's anger. Idiots.

I am developing a django website.

The login on the default admin page is not working when I am testing locally on my mobile. I assume it is because the connection is http (and not https) in order to protect the users (which is a good thing).

I assumed this is the problem, because on chrome, I got also blocked, but I got this hint.

Therefore following 2 stories:

• As a user, I wish I receive a feedback when something is blocked by the browser, so that I understand what is happening.
• As a developer, I wish I could allow login on whitelisted sites (local websites like 192.* ?), so that I can test my website on android without creating self-signed-certificates.

If my assumptions are wrong (but the server did not receive any call), do you know, how I can visualize the network calls on android?

I have about 30 user/password accounts logged when I use my Firefox account on Windows PCs but here on my new Apple Mac tablet, I do NOT see/get any of those accounts. Is there something I need to do to enable this to work?

Is there a way to make backups of my session every 30 for example? The sessionstore-backups folder only saves the last session... I'd to have it saved often and not automatically deleted.

worked in the past, now doesn' t work; if I repet operation I find that variable at false value, and firefox autostarts...
