Hello, Is there any way to redirect firefox browser configuration (password tabs) to a specific location? I have chrome and Edge browser done this way, the configuration saves to the “profile.pb” file. It works great and without any problems,. Is there something similar in FireFox? I can't find it.

I just got a new Mac Powerbook so I'm starting over getting all my old stuff transferred here.

I've been trying to sync my account and every time I ask for the code to be sent to my email address, it is NOT sending the code for me to use to log in!

i recently made a firefox account synced the data cuz i was getting a new pc. Then when i went to login with the same account none of my bookmarks, passwords or anything was there. It just gave me a fresh account.

I was using Firefox for last 5-8 years and all data was saved. Few days back i was started using Linux Debian 12. i tried to login for sync but , after logging all data was erased. I tried from windows also , no data.

So, my old computer recently broke, but I luckily recovered all my files. I was re-downloading Firefox onto this computer, but my bookmarks and add-ons and stuff won't sync. Now, I have a couple questions that I can't seem to get the answer to:

I'd really appreciate help on this topic, but I'm not the best with computers. If anyone has had this problem, and figured it out, please let me know! I had a lot of bookmarks and a good amount of add-ons, I really would like to not lose those.

My question now is: why are there no buttons or easily accessible settings (for example in connection with sync-settings) for using profiles and why does one need to type in strange things in the address bar to access the feature and even to start another instance of firefox with another profile?

I have both Win7 and Win10 on separate drives. I have been migrating from 7 to 10. From all appearances Firefox on both OS's are sync'd. I have asked for my passwords to be sync'd, yet they have not migrated to Win 10. Bookmarks have so I know something is working. Any advice? Thanks Chris

There was no sync error log when I checked. I have already tried logging out and logging back into my Mozilla account on both computers, turning off my antivirus real-time protection, double-checking my sync settings, and restarting both my computers.
