I received this download from Firefox today, July 22, 2025: xRqj7qhl.html - Size: zero bytes - Kind: HTML text . I've never experienced this before. Is it legitimate? Thanks

Beim Herunterladen von Dateien wird mir immer angezeigt "Originaldatei heruntergeladen. API Schlüssel ungültig. Lizenz überprüfen. Die heruntergeladene Datei finde ich aber nirgendwo. Was muss ich machen?

Hi: I've just recently installed 135.0.1 Mozilla Browser and have found that the file SAVING-function in the 'Application Menu' does NOT PROPERLY WORK: it records my message-title but NOT the contents (0-bytes!) -I never had such a basic issue in many years of very satisfactory Browser-use ...am I have a wrong setting somewhere and is there any quick fix please ...? - Email me when someone answers the thread ...MANY THANKS, Tony H.

I have recently encountered reproducible failures when attempting to download files or save pages to local storage. The target directory is located on a mounted NTFS file system with the options umask=007, user=root, and group=disk. My Firefox browser is running under a non-root user account that is a member of the disk group. However, I consistently receive the error message: “XXX could not be saved because the source file could not be read.”

I would greatly appreciate anyone's assistance in resolving this issue.

When trying to "Save" after pro-cococut finishes downloading a file that is larger than 1 Gig and I can't find out what to do in order to have it save large files.

I'd been trying to download 2 large files from Icann and kept getting premature completion with Firefox. It would be showing ##MB of 356MB downloaded for a few seconds and then out of the blues it just says completed. As you can see in the shared video, I've tried this several times.

I thought that maybe one of the Firefox addons was causing the issue so I tried Troubleshoot Mode but that resulted in the same behavior.

I then went into Firefox Profile Manager and created a new profile. But that too had the same behavior - 🤔!

So I then tried Chromium. It completed the download successfully and the file passed gunzip test.

So, why is Firefox, even with a new profile, failing to complete a download?

I tried downloading an APK from memesAPK] but Firefox didn’t save it properly it just showed up weird instead of a normal APK file. Has anyone else run into this or know how to fix it?

I upgraded to Firefox 135.0 the other day and tried it out on a site I have used several times a week for at least 10 years. A .csv file that I regularly download failed to do so. The system simply failed to respond, and nothing appeared in the download window. The site offers the option of downloading the same data in a .xls file, and that worked. (My previous, obsolete, Firefox gave me the option of where to download to, and remembered the choice between vists. Such is progress!)

Hi! I've recently found an issue with VirtualBox Extension Pack download in Firefox. Instead of downloading the file, it just shows me a web page with a lot of gibberish, like its trying to display the content of the file itself. I'm using Windows 11 and no extensions in Firefox. The only way i have for the moment to download that file is through Edge. Can you tell me why this happens? Beforehand, I must say that I am a big fan of Firefox, I've been an user since the beginning. However, sadly I am switching to Safari due to the fact that I work with file transfers through Wetransfer platform and fro some unknown reason I get incomplete downloads from Firefox. I tried all the steps and procedures to refresh, uninstall, reinstall, troubleshoot mode and even switching accounts. Furthermore, nothing worked. I hope you guys can fix this issue and have me back. Trying to download 3.3 GB file. Around 500-600 MB download then fails and displays either, "pause" (permanent) or "failed - cachefly.net". Have tried several times over several days w/o success.

obviously you think everyone is a programmer by the was your system does not work doing updates !!

I am hoping your not expecting an 80 year old lady to fix your lack of diligence? or should i just eliminate your program?
