I want to download and install Firefox on my new iMac. As administrator it downloads but the instellation won't run. As a user it downloads and I can move the icon into the application folder. Firefox then opens but it won't run. Everything is frozen. What is going on??

I downloaded the latest version of Firefox. The directions tell me to open the file that i just downloaded, which is fine, except that I don't know the file name or location. What is it, and where is it? or how do I f find out?

Hi, When i want a new tab on Firefox i have 'Freshy' which appears while with Safari this does not happen .I heard that Freshy is an Hacker site .Pls lest me know how can I Remove it or avoid it Thanks for your feedback Regards

In some pages, redaer view shows the wrong text -- it looks like it picks up text from a hyperlink. An example is this page:

where Reader View shows the text from:

    https://www.britannica.com/art/clarinet

(which is linked inside).

I am using Firefox 134.0 on MacOS (Sequoia 15.2)

I use a 2009 Mac Mini running OS 10.11.6 dedicated for streaming. I was prompted to update Firefox to ESR which I did, replacing the older version of Firefox. The new version will not open.

It was the only browser I had. Can I undo the installation? Or download 78.15.0 somehow to restore the functionality of this Mac?

I use Zen Browser, and since updating my MacBook to the latest OS, Seqouia, my Zen Browser iCloud Passwords extension doesn't work. I'm prompted to update my MacOS to Sonoma or newer, which I've, of course, done. I'm wondering if there is a workaround or if this is simply a bug that needs fixing.

The website WSJ has large areas on front page, including the opinion listing, are simply white and not 'there' on the page to click on. I've deleted their cookies without effect, tried turning off all adblockers, shut mac down to reboot, nothing seems to have an effect. This is a recent glitch of only several days, prior performance was great. Thanks!

Can MacOS High Sierra play Netflix? I cannot update to the most recent Firefox because my 2012 iMac cannot update to Catalina. Netflix says I need a new version of Firefox. How can I use Netflix on my iMac?

All of a sudden I am not able to download files on my MacbookPro in Firefox. I am using Version 126 on Mac OS 12.7.5 Monterey.

Downloads are working if I use Safari, but I do not use it. I just used it for testing purposes. Is anybody else having this problem? I've already "refreshed" Firefox per their suggestion.

I need to enlarge the font on the bookmarks toolbar as I have a visual impairment. I can find ideas for the regular toolbar, but not for the bookmarks toolbar...oh, and I am working on a Mac.

I contacted Apple and they couldn't fix Firefox not working on my MacBook Pro (error: page can’t be displayed, server error). This started after I upgraded to iOS Sequoia 15.0. I disabled my VPN and also reinstalled the Firefox app and it is still not working. Apple says Mozilla may need to release a new update. Please advise what you or I can do to fix the issue. Note: I can access the Firefox page using Safari and Edge so it’s not an internet connection issue.

For the last month or so every time I restart Firefox (macOS 15.1.1) it asks for the master password, which I have saved in a third party password manager. Every time the prompt pops up I use my password and it won't accept it so I have to reset my password. This week I deleted the app from my computer, rebooted, redownloaded Firefox, and reinstalled it without any change in the behavior. Anyone have any ideas?

When printing - print font continually changes. Is there a way to set the print font ?

When accessing print option, it is necessary to go in and out of print mode to get the page to print in desired font. Why is this happening, and is there a way to select a specific font where all printing will adhere to?

I updated my MAC OS, my Firefox IS up to date. My RING website Log-In no longer works on Firefox, yet is DOES work using Safari, which I never use. Is there a setting on the latest Firefox I can change so I can access my RIng account from my Desktop browser? It DID work last month

ad blocker on mac laptop does now show up in mozilla firefox extensions or manager, I opened the puzzle icon but only grammerly shows up, I know I have ad blocker because i have websites saying so and i paid for it annually,

System Details: Macbook Pro (2021) 16 inch Apple M1 Pro macOS Sonoma 14.6.1

1. I downloaded the latest Firefox from Mozilla official website, installed the app, made sure I can see the Firefox app in my applications. I start using the app. 2. Everything will be fine for a few days (say 1 week or 10 days) and one fine day, the browser stops working. Even google.com doesn't open. 3. I quit Firefox and try to re-start it. I cannot find Firefox in my system. It just disappeared. I cannot find in my applications. The search doesn't show Firefox.

I re-install by going back to step #1

This has happened not one time but many times. I searched if others have this issue but did not find anything that i could use. Hence posting this question here.

I have Firefox installed on a lot of other Macbook pros in my home, no other system has this issue. I don'ty understand what is happening. Just wanted to get some guidance in resolving this issue.

When I clear History and cache, either using the menu or quitting the browser (which has the preference set to clear upon closing), then go back to the same Web site I was on, it uses an old version of the page not one that I revised and uploaded on the server. How do I force it to go look in the server anew, or stop using files that I thought I could clear.

I am using Firefox 115.150 esr or MAC 10.15.7.  Thank you.

I accidentally downloaded a newer version of Firefox on my iMac but it is too old to run it. Now I have no way to download an older version that I use to have. Don’t have any suggestions? Thanks

I am unable to remove add on themes. The remove button is not provided. Only manage which enables the theme. I do not want these themes and want them removed now. mac ios
