This issue was introduced by 117.0 Now I must click all URLs twice to get the website visited.

I'm having a problem with Win 11 that will likely require that I reinstall the OS. I decided to move most of the data in my User folder by right clicking and changing the drive from "C:" to "E:" in the Locations tab. Firefox was closed as a I did this, it worked fine, and then I restarted the PC. Upon opening Firefox none of the extensions are working and I'm not sure what to do.

The Backstory: As a graphic designer, I save things from the web all the time--stock websites, client downloads, all that jazz. Because I have a ton of clients, I have the "Always Ask You Where to Save Files" option selected, and it usually does a pretty good job of remembering where I want to save stuff.

However, I've encountered a crazy bug in the last month: When I save images--jpegs specifically--from Adobe Stock, it will pop up the "where to save" window, and it will be a certain client's folder. (For clarity, we'll call this Tammy's folder.) I'll navigate to the new location I want to save assets for the current project I'm working on (let's say this is Mike's folder). Then I'll download another jpeg for Mike's folder from Adobe, but it will start me back in Tammy's folder again. This means I have to re-navigate to Mike's folder, every single time I want to save anywhere other than Tammy's folder.

Here's the weird thing: When I save .ai/vector files from Adobe stock, it remembers the last folder I saved an .ai/vector file to. Same for .pngs and other file types. On other stock websites, it will also remember, whether they are jps, zips, svgs--it works fine. It's JUST jpegs (not jpgs) from Adobe Stock.

I've tried clearing cookies, data, resetting the download location, rebooting my computer in between all the changes, and even going into the about:config to try to fix it that way. Short of uninstalling/reinstalling firefox, are there any other solutions I should try?

When I'm using my Firefox browser spell checking is working only with English language. Polish is my native language and I want use this function to Polish as well and set Polish as my default language. I tried to adding/removing other languages than Polish from options, setting higher priority to Polish language, how ever I have no result with that. Please help, will highly appreciate. I need to disable this horrible translator that is now showing up on top of every page I visit, It keeps showing up even after choosing a translation or disabling translations for that language. That is probably a bug, but I don't want to wait for a fix, I need to be able to see the pages I visit completely, this thing prevents me from clicking buttons and and is really anoying.

This is the built-in translation feature since I do not use any translation plugins, and started showing up after an upgrade.

This problem started yesterday and I cant seem to fix it where youtube is too wide for my screen without any indicator on the top of my screen saying that its zoomed in and I cant watch any videos fullscreen. This glitch isn't a problem on any other websites. I tried opening and closing the browser, I tried restarting my computer tried clearing my cache and cookies and I tried using different accounts but none of them seem to fix the problem!

After the latest update (117.0 64-bit) I now do not see the '+' sign in the tab bar. I have 40 tabs open (please, no negativity - it's always worked for me), but if I close all of the tabs it reappears. Re-open the original 42 tabs and it's gone again. Close them and it reappears, etc. Now for the fun bit: starting from scratch with a new window - the '+' is there, but open 20 more tabs and it goes.

I've been a long-time fan of Firefox's bookmarks management system, but over the past year, I've encountered a persistent issue that's affecting my productivity. I regularly use the bookmark bar and organize my bookmarks into folders. However, any changes I make don't seem to stick and get reset after a period of time. This is especially frustrating as I heavily rely on bookmarks to keep my browsing organized. Problem Details

Here's what typically happens:

1. I add a bookmark to a specific folder or position, either in the general list of bookmarks or on the bookmark toolbar.
2. Sometime later, that bookmark leaves its designated position and moves to the bottom of the unsorted list of bookmarks.

Devices and Operating Systems

• MacBook M1 2020 running macOS Monterey
• Dell Alienware 17 r5 running Windows 10

Both devices have the latest version of Firefox installed, and I use Firefox Sync to keep my bookmarks and settings consistent across these devices. Suspicion

I suspect that this issue occurs when I make a change to bookmarks on one computer and then open Firefox on the other computer. The bookmarks seem to reset, possibly due to some issue with Firefox Sync.

Hello, once again the function of restoring recently closed windows has stopped working, it is displayed in gray and you cannot enter it I usually work on two or three windows at the same time and this function usually works, but I can't use it for the second or third time. This is a recurring problem. I have just been on to Vodafone who have tweaked my router as my speeds, download and upload, were very erratic, and upload speed often zero so connections failed. Sometimes my phone speeds were similar but not always. The Speedtest by Oopla desktop app also showed erratic results but often when they were OK the web-based test on Firefox was much worse, with upload speed zero. When I started this Firefox showed upload speed zero. Now Firefox shows upload 18Mbps. This variability keeps happening and is driving me spare, as even emails often fail to go through - I use Thunderbird. I shall see how things go tomorrow and tell you how it is going.

When a bookmark is made, there is no option anywhere to add tags using windows 11 - I had no problem with tagging bookmarks using Firefox in windows 10, but that option is not showing up for me in windows 11. I have refreshed Firefox with no success to try to correct this situation - thanks in advance for any help you may provide – del

I see with windows Firefox version 118 a TLS extension id 65037 on every client hello handshake containing a bunch of data. Does somebody know what this extension is used for? I couldn't find anything about this on the web or in the firefox docs / release notes. Other browser (chrome / edge) don't have this extension in use.

Firefox just turns into a black screen and becomes unusable. It has been happening for a long time now and i have checked RAM and CPU usage and they are all fine, as I explored potential causes.

I will be using firefox and it just turns all black on all screens and is completely unusable. To use it again I have to force close all windows and reopen it and it works again.

Hola. Mi ordenador tiene Debian 12. Utilizo Firefox 118, instalado a través de Flatpak. El problema que tengo en algunas páginas es que veo las fuentes pixeladas y la impresión es muy defectuosa, hasta el punto de no entender lo que aparece escrito. Esto sólo pasa en algunas páginas.

Si descargo directamente Firefox desde la página de Mozilla y abro la paǵina con una configuración limpia del navegador, las fuentes se ven correctamente; sin embargo, si sincronizo los datos de usuario, instalándose los datos, extensiones y demás las fuentes en determinadas páginas se ven mal.

Desactivé las extensiones pero el problema no se resuelve. Desde una instalación limpia de Firefox instalé una a una las extensiones y complementos, pero no logré reproducir el problema. Borré incluso la caché del navegador, pero nada. Y también sincronicé los datos de usuario en una instalación de Firefox en Fedora, pero el resultado es también negativo.

Alguna idea?

I must use the magnifier that came with Windows or I cannot read the screen. All was fine until Firefox updated. Now, when I try to use the magnifier, Firefox and all the sites I am using freeze. The entire screen fades out, and an hour glass shows up. But nothing happens after that. I have to go to the task manager and close Firefox, then start it up again.

I checked for Windows updates and everything is current. I am using Windows 10.

How can I fix this?

Is there a main location where Firefox extensions (like Forecastfox) keep their settings? If so, or if you happen to know where Forecastfox in particular keeps its settings, I could use some help locating this folder. I have a settings file I could put in there to overcome some difficulties that the folks at Mozillazine can't seem to help with. I want to report that spyware named FindItPro which I, foolishly, downloaded. Well, it's a virus, right? But no antivirus can delete it completely. It comes back and you can't find the source. So, there should be some problem in your browser that allows it to live.

I'll send you a website where I got it. [link to suspected malware removed] BE CAREFUL. Virus will be downloaded along with Opera browser or something. I'll send this report also to some antivirus company. Yes, I was foolish, but I hope you will fix it.

Hi! please help me lmao i'm not sure wtf is going on. I recently (as of a week ago) had to wipe my pc and reinstall windows 10 after a botched update. So i installed firefox on a practically new pc. thing is... when i turn it on, i get this baby in my taskbar (see image): right under the pinned firefox and thunderbird logo, i get a really scrungly OLD (and i mean OLD) firefox logo. clicking it opens nothing. hovering over it shows a preview of a blank window with a random string as title. clicking it only opens a second blank window with nothing in it. eventually when windows finishes starting up, it closes itself. i'm scared it might be a virus. help? how do i make it stop??

Possibly there was an auto update of MOZILLA FIREFOX on our DELL LAPTOP (Windows 11). Now, we cannot get a Mozilla window to open - due to error message:

XUL Runner Error: Platform version '118.0.1' is not compatible with minVersion >= 118.0 maxVersion <=118.0

Can someone please help us get back to a previous version of Mozilla Fire. Perhaps it is a Windows error. I have no way of knowing. Please help me. My email is: [removed email from public] Thank you.
