I have various shortcuts saved on the shortcut page comes up after logging in. Its set to 2 rows.. I use it every day. Used it this morning and working perfectly. Been out and when I came back the page is totally blank. I've tried sytem restore to 5th October but makes no difference. I use Windows 10 and read that Firefox are continuing to support Windows 10 I'm visually impaired and use a desktop PC with a large screen. I'm not PC techically knowledgeable. How do I restore my shortcuts or how do I re create them?

So how do I get them running? A significant portion of the internet runs on WebM and the fact that Mozilla's own dev docs can't show examples is a good indication of a problem.

Firefox freezes when I try to sign into YouTube via Google. Becomes totally unresponsive and I have to close browser. It's the only site this happens on. I have cleared the cache and cookies, unchecked "Hardware Acceleration" and other recommendations from other posts. Please talk to me like I'm your Baby Boomer dad.

Hi, I'm having difficulty getting tabs to open as I prefer.

I have browser.tabs.insertAfterCurrent set to true.

When I right click on a link and select Open Link in New Tab, it does open the new tab next to the current one. However, if I then repeat to open another new tab, this appears to the right of the first one, rather than right next to the current tab.

So, if I open a series of tabs, they appear 1 2 3 4 5 next to current. I would like them to appear 5 4 3 2 1.

Is there another setting that is interfering? I wondered if the tab groups settings are making a difference?

Another site that I can only view in Chrome. I'm not saying this happens every day, but still more often than it should. This is in about:support/troubleshooting mode. Won't get beyond what you see. Loads right up in Chrome.

I am unable to navigate around some websites beyond the page on which I have landed. The site briefly (split second) looks OK and then gets slightly greyed and no other links on the site are accessible. Examples of sites: https://www.signia.net/en-gb/ https://www.flickr.com/

Anyone got any ideas?

Multiple profiles are for different behaviour on the same, say Linux device, with different settings How does this interact with syncing? E.g., I want different settings, but the tabs should be synced?

I opened Firefox this morning and all of my pinned shortcuts have disappeared. Shortcuts are enabled in the settings. I checked the browser.newtabpage.pinned pref on the about:config and all of my pinned shortcuts are still there, but they're not appearing on the actual page itself. Are there any other settings that I'm not aware of?

My internet browsing gradually gets slower over time. By the end of a day or a couple of days, it is unusable. The problem isn't bandwidth. A speed test shows that throughput is absolutely normal. It's the browser response to navigation. ie clicking a link, typing a URL into address bar, etc. and having to wait minutes for the page to start loading.

If I quit the browser and re-open, everything goes back to normal.

Any ideas what might be the problem?

I am having trouble sharing windows (presenting) with Google Meet. I used tot be able to share tabs, windows, or my whole screen, but now I can only share my whole screen.

After installing Firefox on a new Windows 11 computer, when I click on the Desktop icon, a Firefox window opens but it doesn't open previous Tabs and the Application menus does not work. I can open new Tabs though and it downloads websites. If I click on the Firefox icon on the Windows Taskbar, Firefox operates normally.

Why doesn't the Desktop icon start Firefox so it works correctly?

I have always used Firefox for everything. Suddenly it quit uploading photos to eBay correctly. I am now using Brave to upload photos and Firefox to do everything else. Is this a known problem? Are there any fixes? TIA
