Firefox was crashing, installed update under "about firefox". Launched and error said: Needs newer version of operating system. What to do? Have followed all the help articles and it does not see my previous profile only the new profile shows.

1. i have firefox on my pc, now i installed it on my laptop 2. synced to my account on laptop 3. the internet went out halfway through the syncing process (only 3 addons or so installed and then it got stuck) so i closed my laptop and forgot about it 4. i opened firefox on my PC and the account synced 5. the addon bar flashed and all the addons except for 3 are now deleted (they are NOT disabled, they are completely gone from the addons page)

I don't remember the name of every addon i had installed but I need them back.

Hi, Firefox sync not work with changed useragent. I have changed useragent in (about:config): general.useragent.override Our company identify and block Firefox globaly in proxy servers. Why? I don't know (maybee dificult globaly Firefox updating for non admin user).

I open Firefox sync and try login there, but I see only progress (wheel).

A while ago I made a Firefox account with my Yahoo email address as the primary email, and my Outlook email address as the secondary email. Eventually I realized that I didn't need my Yahoo email account anymore, so I deleted it, forgetting that it was being used as the primary email for my Firefox account. Now I can't remove my Outlook email from my Firefox account without verifying my Yahoo email account, and I can't even delete the Firefox account since it was made under the Yahoo email account as a primary email address.

Now I can't use my Outlook email address to create a new Firefox account either.

How can I sync my Firefox browser? It always asks for my Primary Password. I tried resetting my password, deleting/recreating my account, and I'm always asked for the "Primary Password". I can log into Firefox Accounts with my e-mail and known password, but I can't reach the sync option because I'm always asked for the "Primary Password", which seems to be out of sync with my Firefox Account.

I was trying to use the sync function on my MacBook Pro. However, the browser does not seem to log in at all. In the top right menu, it still shows the "sign in" button, instead of my email address. (see the attached pictures which I captured from my mac and a virtual machine running Firefox ESR on Debian. Another test on the flatpak version on the vertural machine apears to be normal.

Checks on account activities indicates the login histroy exsits, yet the syncing function remains unavailable.

the browser on the Mac is Version 102.0.1 (64-bit) which apears to be up to date the browser on the virtual machine is Version 91.11.0esr (64-bit)

I've been trying to sign in to my account on the browser, but I keep failing. Everytime I finish all the sign-in steps, the email notification sounds indicating that the signin activity. However, the browser still asks my to sign in (see picture 1 in the attachment) I tried to sign-in on my virtural machine and its completely normal (so as on my android phone)

I have discovered a bug in the Sync. While starting a fresh copy of the browser and signing into the Sync, the content that was earlier saved to the Sync server is not fully restored.

As example, I use the "Preferences".

Some settings, like for example: "network prefernces", "search", etc., instead of beeing restored from the Sync server, are set to the default values and need to become changed manually into the prefered values.

I cannot sync my new laptop to my computer and iPhone. I have tried for 3 days without any luck. Could someone PLEASE help me with this problem??

Tengo problemas hace tiempo con Firefox acounts hace aproximadamente un año, he seguido todos los pasos de cambio de contraseña, cambio de cuenta principal, cambio en varios pasos, he hecho creo yo todas las recomendaciones y hasta este momento no me funciona. Razon por la que les agradezco en gran manera me ayuden de manera facil y sencilla a resolver este impase molestoso. Muchas gracias por su ayuda para solucionar este inconveniente de tanto tiempo

My Firefox browser has been running ok on my laptop with Win10. Tried to load Firefox on to my Android phone and pair. Phone pair is successful from the point of view of the phone, but fails at the laptop due to Error 500. I have tried this several times, including disconnecting VPN. I don't want to go back to Chrome bloatware. I also note from searches that this is a long running problem that appears not to have been fixed! I am not tech savvy! Any advice please is welcome before I ditch Mozilla entirely

I lost my login info when i reinstalled firefox. Now i cant retrieve any of my data. Is there anyway to check and see what profiles is registered to me. I tried two of my main emails but it doesnt give me my info. There is about 10 years worth of passwords on there and im going to be fcked if i cant get them back.

I had this issue and corrected it for my account, but a friend has the same problem and I forgot the fix - yes, I'm an old man!

How do I eliminate the Sea Monkey browser as default in Sea Monkey mail? I want to clink a link in the email and had have it open in / with FF.

I'm trying to find out what email I had previously setup as my primary email for Firefox sync. I went to sign in with an email that apparently is a "secondary email" and it says I need to sign in with the primary account. Out of the 4 email address that I have ever used, none of them (even after creating new firefox accounts with) say or show that they are the "primary account" attached to this "secondary account" I am trying to use.

I only want to use my email that it keeps saying I need to sign into my "primary account first in order to use that email" to be completely honest I don't ever remember setting this email up as a secondary for any of my Firefox accounts.

What are my options here can I really not find out the email address of this "primary account" so I can use it to remove it as "primary"??

Hi, my laptop died and cannot access to it anymore. I got a new laptop and installed Firefox. I tried several passwords but could not remember the correct one so I changed it. When logged in, I found my account empty. How do I restore my data? I search in Firefox website and seems that to restore I need to access in my old computer with the new password, but my old laptop does not even turn on anymore. Please help
