I noticed recently that my 'Add Shortcut' button has disappeared. I've been through other articles and they were of no help. I have 4 rows selected for shortcuts so theres no reason for it to be gone.

Reader view doesn't work on many Lifehacker pages/articles. Can something be done to make it work on those pages? Here's an example:

I've been using "unload tab" feature in the right click menu a lot, because my device is slow and I like to keep tabs open. (Thank you so much for adding it!) I love that it makes tabs that I unload manually have grey icons, this is super helpful for keeping track of which tabs are processing and which aren't Can you change it or make a setting so that tabs that are not loaded yet (tabs opened by by the "restore tabs when reopening browser" setting for example) are also grey? It would help me keep track of which tabs are loaded and when. In other words, right now it's possible for a tab to have a color icon when it's not loaded, and I want to make that impossible, so I can keep track better.

Hello. I am using Linux Mint 21.3 cinnamon and Firefox 144.0.2 When I use Google maps and the yellow small pointer (cartoon) to go on a specific street, the window come black when shifting to street view. My only extension is disabled, hardware acceleration unchecked, cache cleared and cookies cleared. I have made fresh install and nothing help. Troubleshooting mode allow street view to work fine but normal mode don't work. Google chrome work good. Chromium work good. And finally, Firefox work ok on my Linux mint LMDE 6.

Any idea where to go to solve this issue?

Hi, after latest update just now, the browsers uses up to 45gb of ram within a few minutes! Not sure what it is, I am on MACOS Sequia Version 15.6.1 (24G90) macbook pro M1

Hi -- I'm getting quite a few page crashes that seem mostly tied to YouTube, although not exclusively. I only recently swapped over to Firefox from Chrome because I was having similar crashing issues with that browser as well. This is after a fresh install of Windows 11 Pro and a number of different benchmark tests (no known issues with CPU, GPU, or RAM).

Since there are so many reports that all seem different, could someone help troubleshoot? I really can't tell if it's a browser problem, maybe something with my MOBO or PSU or other hardware.

I'm having trouble opening urls in a private window from the command line on Windows 11.

Firefox version: 144.0.2

Starting a new private window works fine with "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -private-window

But doing: "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -private-window "https://www.google.com"

just opens the link in the last selected window if the last window selected is non private it just opens the link there instead of a new or existing private window

I have also tried with no success: "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -private "https://www.google.com"

When I sign in to the NY Times (for example) I get a dropdown of autofill email addresses. Some are even mistyped addresses or bogus addresses I've used to access webpages that'll take any email address. I cannot delete these. I've tried shift-delete. These email addresses cannot be accessed via Firefox preferences: autofill screens do not list email addresses but only the physical addresses that I've saved.

(And then, of course, the minute you submit any email to the NYTimes it immediately creates an "account" and starts sending you subscription offers.)

1. I have NEVER downloaded "adblock" 2. "Adblock" cannot be found in the PROGRAMS listed on my PC, so no way to "uninstall" your uninvited, unwelcome, unneeded bit of buy-this-buy-this-buy-this angling. 3. GET RID OF IT FROM SHOWING UP ON MY COMPUTER SCREEN WHEN I OPEN FIREFOX! NOW!

Youtube does not work. It shows somekind of default page that is essentially blank. It does say: "Try searching to get started" and "Start watching videos to help us build a feed of videos you'll love."

But it will not respond when I attempt to search anything.

i even deleted ALL my bookmarks............I cant get rid of the ribbon across the top, no matter how many times i try. And now I see, the bookmarks live on even after I deleted all of them yesterday.

Hello there, today was released a new version of firefox. downloading it not only crashed my computer, it also removed all my history and bookmarks. is there any way to revert this?

Can Firefox do anything to recover all of the downloads I'd saved until I accidentally had CCleaner erase everything? I don't know what else was deleted, but getting them back would be a big help.

I found 'chromeasia.com' autocompleting in the Firefox address bar upon typing 'ch'. I searched History for this and there was no sign of it. I cleared all history data, rebooted, ran a disk cleanup and find that 'chromeasia.com' stil autocompletes upon typing 'ch' in the address bar.

Any suggestions or advice on how to clear this would be warmly appreciated. Thanks. Stephen

What goes wrong with a simple tracking request on the UPS website? Try my actual case with the following link: https://www.ups.com/track?tracknum=1ZA06B736800244687&loc=fi_FI&requester=QUIC%2F/ The response in Finnish is always: "Emme voi suorittaa seurantapyyntöäsi tällä hetkellä. Yritä myöhemmin uudelleen." A quick and dirty translation is: "We cannot execute your request right now. Try again later".

This is an everlasting problem. But try the exactly same link on Chrome or Edge, and it works fine.

Problem: Cannot clear history from Firefix Started with Menu and clear recent history. Looked everyplace there was information about history. Tried removing individual entries. Ran Malwarebytes. Dell XPS 8960 with Windows 11 less than one year old. No response with any steps I take. Also, there are no error messages. I am unable to clear history no matter which tools I use. No error messages. All the suggestions I tried had no effect. Used Troubleshoot Mode in Firefox.

Oddly, I tried my older Dell Inspiron 3650, with Windows 10, and clear history works like it should.

No improvement. I am running Firefox 144.0 on kubuntu 24.04.3 LTS I have lost sound on Firefox. I have opened the same sites in Chrome and the sound is working fine. It's only in Firefox. I have tried several sites including Udemy, YouTube, and radio programs, no sound from Firefox. The problem started in the middle of a Jit.Si session. All of a sudden the sound disappeared. I thought that restart Firefox would help, then restart the computer would help. But the problem has continued. The speakers is turned on the volume is up, just not a sound from Firefox. What to do?

Im entering the email and password i swear dozens of times every day...it never works right, ALWAYS need one or both lines filled in.  I DONT CARE IF IT DOESNT WANT ME TO SAVE THE PASSWORD. GOD KNOWS its NOT retaining it!  OK, im 75 years old. HAVE I LOST MY MARBLES?

since the uptate to version 144.0.2 I have two problems. the first one is async streaming on platforms eg. youtube or netflix. The videos take a very long time to load. Even if a video has already preloaded and I skip to that area, the video takes an extremely long time to load again. The 2nd problem i have in livestreams eg. live-TV or twitch. The loading time is very long. It is so long that many livestreams are doesn't even able to start. So, it is no longer possible for me to watch livestreams on Firefox. what i've done to fix it: - I deactivated all Add-on's and deleted all browser Data - I made a new profile and deleted the old ones - I reinstalled Firefox

Nothing worked. so pls can you help me that I can use Firefox normally as usual? (sorry for my bad english, I'm from Germany)
