I have the latest stable FIrefox (as today) and I've tried on Linux and Windows with all addons and plugins disabled and also in safe mode and it doesn't get my geolocati… (čítať viac)

I have the latest stable FIrefox (as today) and I've tried on Linux and Windows with all addons and plugins disabled and also in safe mode and it doesn't get my geolocation. The website has "HTTPS". I clicked "allow and remember", delete cache completely and nothing. I tried all the solutions from answers I could find but still doesn't work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

CBS.com can not find my location

I am not able to access CBS.com Live TV option using Firefox v56 on Xubuntu 16.04. In trying, I receive a message: can not find your location. However, I am able to get access to the CBS.com Live TV, via Google Chrome. It appears that CBS.com only supports Google Chrome features (i.e. communication protocols/security). Is there anyway to make Firefox v56 compatible with CBS.com. If not, will the next version of Firefox have the same capabilities as Google Chrome?

Location sharing not working and also not prompting

I cannot share my location on websites such as maps.google.com or openstreetmap.org Firefox does not prompt me to share my location and even if I give permission manually… (čítať viac)

Firefox does not prompt me to share my location and even if I give permission manually, it still doesn't work.

Refreshing Firefox made no difference.

"geo.enabled" is set to **true**

How can I change my geolocation settings

I use Windows 10 and live in UK but every website based on my geolocation settings(hope I'm using right terminology, basically websites that check my IP address) treat me… (čítať viac)

I use Windows 10 and live in UK but every website based on my geolocation settings(hope I'm using right terminology, basically websites that check my IP address) treat me as I am based in Germany. I.E YouTube displays me German content, other website that don't need subscription, displays me German content and all website is in German. I checked and in Firefox, and Firefox only, my IP is shown as IP originated from Hamburg. Can I change this? And how? I said that only Firefox do that as I've checked in Edge and Chrome and they both display my IP correct. I also called my ISP about that and they checked and there's everything ok at their end. I already deleted all the cookies from Firefox, but it didn't worked. IP is still German. How can I fix that?

How do I stop websites determining my location?

I opened up yahoo, I thought that I had location tracking turned off, found the weather displayed for my post code. If I go to an IP locator it shows me as being in yorks… (čítať viac)

I opened up yahoo, I thought that I had location tracking turned off, found the weather displayed for my post code. If I go to an IP locator it shows me as being in yorkshire which is fine. I don't wish to be tracked this way. How can I stop it? Regards

My browser too often gives me .ca refernces. Can I change to US refernces?

When searching, I get mostly Canadian .ca references. Is there some change I can make to get US references? Like .com .org .net....etc I worked at the Microsoft store and… (čítať viac)

Like .com .org .net....etc I worked at the Microsoft store and they say my computer settings are set correctly, and that MS Edge works correctly. However, I would like to stay with the FireFox search engine.

Appreciate any help and or suggestions.

My Firefox searches state a geolocation in Ukraine & results are in Russian IAM IN IRELAND not ukraine and want results in english

I am in Limerick Ireland & use Firefox as my main browser, but when it returns google search results, it converts to Russian. Scrolling down to the bottom of the page… (čítať viac)

I am in Limerick Ireland & use Firefox as my main browser, but when it returns google search results, it converts to Russian. Scrolling down to the bottom of the page, the location is given as UKRAINE. As mentioned I am in Ireland, and my stated preferred language is ENGLISH. I am concerned and more than a little irritated as it is not easy to report problems

For security, I use Bitdefender total security which includes a VPN on an iMAC.

I'm an American living in Brazil. When I want to visit an international company's USA website, my browser automatically adds .br (Brazil) after .com to take me to the company's Brazilian website. How do I stop this? Walmart is one (but NOT the only) example. If I type www.walmart.com, I am automatically redirected to www.walmart.com.br. Grrrr ~ so stupidly frustrating!
