When will the new version of Firefox fixing the PDF reader vulnerability be rolled out?

Unless there is some patch one needs to re-install a non-vulnerable version.

I enter my search data or search item description into the Firefox window central to the screen, the input word and following description immediately jumps to the URL bar. How can I stop this annoying operation

I had a crap ton of pinned pages for a long time. I restarted my computer and now they're gone. I've restarted my computer before with no issues. Pinned pages are supposed to stay no matter if you turn off or restart. How can I go about getting them back?

I have both speakers and a headset on my desktop. The system has worked fine for the past 1.5 years. Suddenly today, when I unplug by headset and select speakers for audio, it works for other apps, but not on Firefox browser. Can someone offer some possible reasons for that and, even better, as solution?

Asking again. Support won't help. Volunteers won't help.

The animated images of the articles are loaded once every 3. On Chrome Android I have no problem.

I solve it manually by resizing the page, so they load.

Where could the problem be? In the animation of their site? Do you have any advice on a fix?

I have an insane amount of crashes i have tried everything i think my pc is just damaged either windows or disk or viruses i have no idea?! all my browsers same issue including firefox

Hi Friends.... This morning logged into my website as usual and this message appeared on the home page. I have not checked the link as it seems potentially malicious ... It does not appear when visiting my site on Safari. I have emptied the cache I have been through troupbleshooting mode I have reinstalled Firefox and it still is there..

Hello, By default, DoH fails on Max Protection in the latest OS versions listed above. The workaround I've discovered is using https://1.1.1.1/dns-query, but I would rather use the default settings.

Hello, Firefox randomly downloaded a file, with seemingly randomly name, that is 0 bytes and in download manager the source is moz-safe-about. It happened when I was accessing a popular wiki site. I opened the file in notepad, it was empty. I put it on virus total and came back negative, as it is an empty file. I've curbed through the support tickets here, using the keyphrase 'moz-safe-about'. I understand this was/is quite a common problem, but it still makes me quite worried and left a sour taste in my mouth, as I haven't understood any of the explanations. I have enabled firefox to ask me whenever it wants to save something (I have no idea why this isnt the default state). Happened on a somewhat fresh, updated win 11 installation. I'm also attaching more information here with a picture. Long story short: should I be worried? Am I overreacting and this is just some sort of a bug that occurred while getting a sites data? I'm running Firefox which I compiled with vaapi support because I was trying to use hardware acceleration for videos, so I think this bug may have something to do with that. Every time I open a pdf file my browser instantly crashes. When I use troubleshoot mode I have no such issue. I then tried with a fresh all-default user profile with no add-ons, nothing, and still I crash when loading a PDF. Any pointers would be appreciated.

Sometimes I find that Firefox just randomly closes on my laptop, usually when I step away for about 10-20 minutes. I can't find any info in the about:crashes page when it happens.

Is there a way to turn off tracking URL fragment insertion from the release notes page when clicking "What's New" in the Firefox update modal?

When I click "What's New" in this modal (see Screenshot 1), it loads the release notes page for my current version (although it really should load the release notes page for the version it wants me to upgrade to, but that's another issue altogether), and inserts a bunch of tracking URI fragments onto the URL (see Screenshot 2).

Is there a way (in Settings, about:config, Windows Registry, etc.) to disable that fragment insertion?
