Based on https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/glib/-/issues/2833, I gather that this crash happens when you have some malformed xdg-mime data. I'm trying to figure out what data that is and where it's stored so I can fix it.

The crash report doesn't show me the arguments, so I can't tell what mime type it's trying to load. Maybe it's not available due to the way the library is built, or maybe it's not available due to the crash report hiding potentially private data. Or both. Can anyone tell me how to see what mime type it's looking up? Or do you know what mime type it would be looking up when saving a PDF? `xdg-mime query default application/pdf` works fine so it's not just looking for a handler, there must be some sort of weird "MIME type" for "file browser" that it's trying to use.

control + UP (arrow) is documented to "go to top of page". That has broken as of 126.0 And, for some reason I don't remember, I found that using "HOME" in the past was also problematic.

How do I report something as "b roken" to firefox and do you agree it is broken?

I'm unable to load this specific website "https://doy2mn9upadnk.cloudfront.net/" just on Firefox browser, i keep getting same error "PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR" yet it loads perfectly fine in Chrome. I don't use any vpn/proxy

I often run into issues with PDFs in Firefox Linux. They either appear totally blank (typically after suspend/restore), or they appear with the desktop background showing through (as in the attached screenshot).

Hard refreshing the page doesn't change anything, opening a new tab and opening the PDF again doesn't change anything, opening a new window and loading the PDF doesn't change anything.

It renders correctly in Chromium.

Firefox 126.0 using the recommended performance settings on Mint 21.3, nvidia quadro p620 using the official nvidia drivers v535.171.04-0ubuntu0.22.04.1

I'm encountering a perplexing issue with Mozilla Firefox that I hope someone here can shed some light on. Whenever I set Mozilla Firefox as my default browser, I experience difficulties accessing my website. The site continuously buffers but never fully loads, leaving me unable to view its content.

However, when I switch to a different browser as my default, such as Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, the website loads without any issues moreover my website is related to Picoworker which runs smoothly on other browsers (Screenshot is also attached). This leads me to believe that the problem might be specific to Mozilla Firefox.

I've tried troubleshooting by clearing the browser cache, disabling extensions, and even reinstalling Firefox, but the problem persists. I've also checked for any errors in the browser console, but nothing seems out of the ordinary.

Could there be any compatibility issues between my website and Mozilla Firefox that are causing this problem? Or is there something else I should investigate to resolve this issue?

Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your assistance!

A while back I downgraded my Firefox version to some old version to be able to access a FortiGate 310B. However when I upgraded back and started using the latest version my search completion stopped working, but my search completion is turned on. It shows things I've already searched for, but it's not fetching new completions. I lived with this for a while since I couldn't be bothered to fix it, but I recently moved to linux, and copied all my data, I did this by just copying the profile folder and moved into into a new profile I created on linux. It worked, my bookmark, history, passwords etc are saved, but still no completion. I tried creating a new profile and the search completion worked perfectly fine. Do you guys have any tips or things I could try? Or do I just give up and move to a new profile, since this one is presumably corrupt?

After the last upgrade Firefox has a strange ~6 pixel wide dark border. How can I eliminate that border?

So I have an issue where I am unable to reorder or detach tabs after having detached one tab. When I start Firefox I am able to reorder my tabs as much as I want, but once I detach one tab both functionalities do not work anymore.

- Firefox version 126.0 on Kubuntu 24.04 - After restarting Firefox I am able to do it again once - After rebooting I am also able to do it again once - The same issue in private window - I have refreshed Firefox through Help -> More troubleshooting information - Disabled all my add-ons - Tried it in Troubleshoot mode

I cannot seem to find a real answer online. Does somebody here have a solution for me :-)?

I have happily used Firefox for a very very long time and all has been well until the last month or so.

I have a brand new laptop with Windows 11 Pro and Firefox 126.

Each time I open the machine to begin a new day and open Firefox, all my tabs are gone from the previous session; this is not good for my research, studies, and business activities. I have read a lot about this issue online and (1) find that under Settings, History, there is no "restore previous session" option; and (2) I have several times already cleared the "sessionstore" folder and copied the files for later reuse.

Further, "Open previous windows and tabs" is checked off; always has been. I have checked other relevant settings and they all seem fine; but to no avail.

What would you suggest?

I use version 115.11.0esr (32-bit). I need help with the color of open tabs. How do open tabs can be all in one color and that is black or dark gray? I don't want all open tabs to be bright because it stitches me in the eye. Active tab can be any color but for all other open tabs I want them to be in the same dark color - black or dark gray. Is this possible and how can this be achieved? Thanks very much.

Suddenly after 20 years of collecting invaluable basic reference works in one of the 20 bookmarks on my Bookmarks Toolbar called REF on my Firefox browser, today I find it simply marked "Empty". No idea why. No other tabs have been altered as far as I can tell. 28 MAY 2024

I am performing a use case in my organization. I need the hash (sha1) of all Mozilla Firefox releases published till the latest one.

I need for all 3 OS- Win, Linux and Mac.

Can anyone help me how/where can I find this?

Whenever I try to log into my online banking all I get is a white screen, nothing whatsoever.

I can log in just fine using the dreaded Microsoft Edge or Chrome but firefox will not work.

Now, I do know that I have actually logged in with firefox because if I come back to the page 10 minute later I get a banking message saying that as I haven't done anything for 10 minutes it has now logged me out!

I have cleared cache & cookies, I've started in safe mode and looked at the threads in the forum but nothing helps.

This is happening on all instances of firefox that I have, work, home, laptop.

please help
