I have been reading the NYTimes on Firefox for a long time, but it appears that I got logged out without knowing it. I could not log back in even though I used the correct email address and changed my password twice. I can log in on other browsers using my latest password. I called the Times and the person with whom I spoke, after trying to get me logged in, finally said that this is a known problem with Firefox. He did not have any idea about the cause or what I could do; he simply told me to use another browser. I use Firefox for almost everything and this is, to say the least, an inconvenience--for instance, if the Times sends me a link to an article by Thunderbird (which is my email program), I can't read the article but have to find it on another browser. Are you aware of this problem? Do you have any suggestions for how I might log in despite it? Do you know the cause of the problem and whether Mozilla is trying to fix it?

I'm working on developing a website that uses WebGL in it, but sometimes some bad code will cause WebGL to crash. The issue here is that once that happens, I have to go into troubleshooting mode and back out before it starts working again. Is there any way to make it so that WebGL works after it crashes?

i use Firefox as my browser, but AT&T Yahoo is my internet provider so I use a Yahoo home page and Yahoo mail. Last week they did an update, now every time my laptop goes to sleep I have to re log into Myyahoo to get my mail and my home page. It also seems to log me out of some of my other forums and websites at the same time. I'm not sure how to fix this in settings so any help would be great.

I have 2 soundcards on my iMac, (OS Ventura 13.6.1) : one internal (iMac) and one for music production. (universal audio)

Until the latest update (127), I could select either one and I could hear the audio from Firefox. But... since the update, only the internal iMac audio card is working. Note that I don't have this problem with Safari nor Chrome and it used to work on Firefox until the last update.

Anyone has noticed that? 

Does anyone knows how to contact them and log this as a new bug?

Issue Summary: When using a maximized Firefox window with the Windows taskbar set to automatically hide, the taskbar sometimes fails to appear when moving the mouse cursor to the bottom of the screen.

• Set the Windows taskbar to automatically hide.
• Maximize the Firefox window.
• Use Firefox normally and intermittently move the mouse cursor to the bottom of the screen.

Expected Behavior: The Windows taskbar should appear when the mouse cursor is moved to the bottom of the screen.

Actual Behavior: The taskbar does not appear consistently when the mouse cursor is moved to the bottom of the screen. This issue is specific to Firefox and occurs frequently, though not every time. The taskbar functions normally with other applications.

System Information:

• Windows Version: Windows 10 Pro 22H2 x64
• Firefox Version: Firefox 127.0 (but happens at least since 126.0)

Additional Notes:

• The issue has been occurring for several weeks.
• No specific pattern has been identified regarding when the taskbar fails to appear.
• This issue significantly impacts the user experience as it disrupts workflow and navigation.

Steps Taken to Resolve:

• Checked for and installed the latest Firefox updates.
• Restarted Firefox and the computer.
• Verified that the taskbar behaves normally with other applications.

Request: Please investigate and address this issue in a future update. Any guidance or interim solutions would be greatly appreciated.

I have the strangest problem. If Firefox is closed and I do a speedtest in another browser, download a file, or do other internet activity I'm getting about 200-250Mbps d/l and 100Mbps upload. As soon as I open Firefox, whether I load a page or not, the upload speed stays the same, however the download speed drops to about 25-50 Mbps. This only happens on one PC, the upload isn't affected, and resolves itself as soon as Firefox is closed. Here's what I have done without any change in this behaviour;

• Rebooted
• ipconfig /release /renew /flushdns
• Removed and reinstalled the network adapter
• Enabled, disabled windows auto tuning and tested (slower disabled)
• Updated Windows
• Refreshed Firefox
• Uninstalled Firefox, deleted remaining folders from Appdata (Local, Low, Roaming) as well as the program file directories and "Mozilla" registry entries. Restarted and reinstalled. Issue immediately resumed when Firefox was open.

Also when connected to a VPN Firefox download speed increases to about 60Mbps and is consistent across other software. If I split tunnel another browser outside the VPN, it is still stuck at 60Mbps. If I close Firefox the speed increases.

This makes absolutely no sense to me, so I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this - but it does seem to be something Firefox is doing.

I know it seems like a minor thing, but I run my browser in the left hand of my screen with other apps to the right, so that gaps pushes all my pinned tabs and browsing tabs over to the right losing valuable space. It's not there on my Windows machines where I run a similar layout.

Anything that I can do about it in about:config?

For many years I have used the ability to set shortcuts to website on the Firefox home tab, using the method given at: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/customize-items-on-firefox-new-tab-page#w_pin-unpin-or-remove-a-shortcut.

However, today, when I try to edit a shortcut link, I do not get the 3 dots menu by right clicking on a shortcut tile.

Is this a recent change, a bug, an issue with my installation (which has been stable for many years)?

How can I get back the functionality back?

I am using Firefox 127.0 (64 bit) on Windows (Windows 11, all up to date).

When I open my emails, I get an automatic default to email REPLY. I cannot open my emails for reading and attachments. Also, I no longer get the time of the email listed. How do I restore my settings?

I'd like to know if there is a way to remove firefox relay from the context menu, as per screenshot. I really like the relay icon on the email fields, but I don't want it to show on the context menu and I found no such option on the relay extension. Is there a solution to this?

The vast majority of the time, when I open a new tab, I want to go to a page I already visited. Unfortunately, I consistently have to press down arrow to get to what I'm looking for.

I already disabled any kind of search suggestion (settings screenshot attached), added the separate search field, but nothing I tried removed the "Search with DuckDuckGo" being the first suggestion. I pressed the down arrow so many times in my life because of this, I'm at a loss.

Am I missing something? Is there any way to get the history suggestions to be before ANY web search.

I have been trying to read article comments on Fox News Digital (https://www.foxnews.com), but the comments are not showing up. I am using a MacBook Air with Sonoma 14.1. I am using FireFox latest edition and have updated FireFox but comments are still not showing up. Comments do display in Safari logged in to foxnews.com or not. I would put a jpg in this request for assistance, but it wouldn't show much just a white space where the comments should be.

I have a Lenovo Win 11 notebook that now requires me to sign in each time I open Outlook or YouTube when I use the Firefox Browser. Edge and Chrome do not require a sign each time I use Outlook and/or YouTube. A setting in Firefox certainly seems to be the cause. I reinstalled Firefox, still same broblem.

A week or two ago I had no issues with Outlook and YouTube. It happens now every time I Open Outlook and YouTube.

I now use EDGE and have stopped using Firefox which has been my preferred browser for years.

My display is too big now and I lose parts of webpages in the "edges"? Search bar when I first sign on shows 120%. How do I get back to 100%? Please no technical jargon. If I can't fix this,will have to quit using Firefox.

This has been going on for a length of times, the Privacy app or window keeping changing when I used it. This morning, it started back when trying to close it to go to another website. Also, the middle part of the privacy screen keeping changing.

Firefox is not secure because there is something going on every day with the settings. They keep changing on me.

As you can see in the attached image the highlight is coming out grey instead of blue, which is what is showing when I select 'save screenshot'. It used to be this error happened maybe one in 20 times and it was annoying because I am making these screenshots for use in youtube videos and it becomes unreadable, but now it is every single screenshot even after doing it dozens of times and with different pages.
