Password Manager warns about password used in an account exposed in a breach but not what account. Why can't Pasword Manager give any detail on the data breach it warns about. Like what account is breached? Would be very helpful to know what account has been exposed!

With the most recent update, the autofill password background color is now white instead of black, as it had been forever, with my system settings on Dark Mode / system.

I cant see any place to change the autofill background color, other than follow system settings or set to dark mode. Which I have done both, restarted firefox and my PC - still showing white background. again, this just started with a recent firefox update, about a week or so ago, maybe there is a glitch in there?

Hi, I've three Browser profile, when I get new updates, no matter I at that moment be in which one of them but the update just reach one of the profiles. features like Built it VPN, weather widget and etc does not come to the others two. Please fix this one or if its a problem from me, guide me to fix it.

I would like to disable the recent update at settingbrowser.nova.enabled. The purple-pink colors and rounded corners are VERY hard for me to see. I need the gray background, black writing, and square corners back. Thank you.

I am trying to send an S/MIME encrypted email from Thunderbird to:

jobcenter-chemnitz.netzwerkpartner@jobcenter-ge.de

The recipient certificate is provided by the official certificate directory of the German Federal Employment Agency (Bundesagentur für Arbeit).

I downloaded the recipient certificate and successfully imported it into Thunderbird under:

Settings → Privacy & Security → Certificates → Manage Certificates → People

The certificate is displayed correctly there. The email address contained in the certificate is:

jobcenter-chemnitz.netzwerkpartner@jobcenter-ge.de

The certificate is valid from July 29, 2026 to July 29, 2028 and includes E-mail Protection and Key Encipherment.

The required CA certificates are also installed:

BA-Class-1-Root-CA-4:PN BA-VPS-CA-11:PN

However, when I compose an encrypted email to this exact address, Thunderbird reports:

“You have selected to encrypt this message, but the application failed to find an encryption certificate for jobcenter-chemnitz.netzwerkpartner@jobcenter-ge.de.”

Under S/MIME → Recipient Certificates, Thunderbird also shows the certificate as “Not found”.

I have already tried:

deleting and re-importing the recipient certificate completely restarting Thunderbird after importing it manually typing the recipient address in lowercase without using autocomplete checking the complete CA certificate chain temporarily disabling OCSP

None of these changed the result.

My own personal S/MIME certificate works correctly. As a test, I can compose an encrypted email to my own email address without any certificate error. Therefore, the basic S/MIME configuration and my own certificate appear to be working.

When I reproduce the problem with the Thunderbird Error Console open, I get:

NS_ERROR_ILLEGAL_VALUE (0x80070057)

related to:

nsIMsgComposeSecure.beginCryptoEncapsulation

This seems similar to Mozilla Bug 2021265, where a manually imported recipient certificate is visible in Certificate Manager but is not found when composing an encrypted message.

Is this a known issue in Thunderbird 140 ESR, and is there a workaround for using this manually imported recipient certificate?

I have no accounts, no old emails, nothing.

Hello, the QR-CODE that i scan with my cellphone for the 2 authentify wont work i have google authentify i think mabye it couse be need the time to actuell this progress of update that the code funktion funktions . Since the latest Firefox update, it hangs immediately at startup. Now it never works, while other browsers always work. This is a fully updated Windows 10 computer. Even when it does work, Firefox's special tabs - About, Close Firefox, Restore session - are often big trouble; and it seems possible one of these may be the problem now. When Firefox is working. it either closes slowly or not at all, bringing always problematic "Firefox is already running - Close Firefox" messages. When one Firefox window is closed, Firefox always keeps the window that is causing trouble in the first place. So, two things. 1) Firefox doesn't work at all. If you fix this problem with an update, the update must start immediately because clicking on "Download Update" too will be hung. 2) You have terribly problematic special tabs which I have named above. It is my opinion that you cannot fix them - you have to rebuild them from scratch - otherwise they would be working properly right now. I have fallen back on Microsoft Edge which always works. Firefox is never working. Think about it.

Hello, I'm a user who's blind, of course as per the accessability topic I selected here. I need help with thunderbyrd and reaching back to the messages list from either a message body and/or now currently, from the settings pane. I've tried the following: 1. Hitting F6 to figure out where the message list lies within the cycle of panes, but all I get are the search pane and the reading pane main region. 2. Tried hitting tab from the spaces menu when I find the mail as alt 1. 3. Just going back into that tab, the mail, and nothing works. I still end up back in the settings currently but was in a message body before. No matter how I turn off thunderbyrd and reopen it, this is still happening. I use NVDA only for games/current screen reader in use, but I mainly use JAWS for Windows, which is on its latest updates. NVDA is as well. Is there anything you can suggest or should I just use the outlook new from Microsoft, which I still have but it's a pain to use with screen readers. Thanks soo much, Ashleigh P

The full error message is: "The procedure entry point ?WindowsBCryptinitialization@mozilla@@YA_NXZ could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\xul.dll."

After accepting that, I get another message that says: "Couldn't load XPCOM." Then, it just quits, with no Crash Reporter dialog.

I downloaded a fresh installer, but it takes a couple minutes to even launch, and then just sits there for a long time on the initial screen doing nothing before saying the installation failed. I've restarted my computer twice hoping it was a one-off issue, but there's no change.

According to the file information, xul.dll was last changed September 3rd, so it may not be the source of the issue. Perhaps whatever name mangling is responsible for the above entry point changed and now they don't match?

I have automatic updates set to "download but don't install", so it downloaded it a few days ago and I just restarted it this evening and the issue occurred. I could understand that maybe something got corrupted during the update, but I have no idea how the installer could also be failing.
