About 2 months ago, I had a very useful exchange with Lin regarding backing up my Thunderbird data; I wanted to look at the exchange again, since I apparently failed to save it externally; Is there a way to access that exchange?

On two different Windows machines, current Firefox (153.0.1), the alt-d shortcut stops working: it does nothing until I restart Firefox. Then it works again for a while. I've tried about:keyboard and it's not reset there. I tried all combinations: Clear, Reset, setting it to alt-d explicitly. None of those worked. But when I set it to alt-a, that worked--but then resetting back to alt-d again didn't work. That shortcut is muscle memory at this point, so it's quite distressing. Not sure what diagnostics might be available to help here, happy to try anything.

Full disclosure: Both machines are Windows 10 but since that's stable, I find it hard to believe that's related.

I rather doubt the veracity of this, seeing it includes “I can see the full list of your contacts from your phone and all your social networks” — since I do not access the Internet from any telephone.

It has been several years since I’ve received something of this sort, so have remained confident that my system(s) remain well-protected. However, since the message did arrive in one of my email accounts, is there still the potential of my contacts list(s) being compromised, and, if so, how to safeguard against that?

Trying to get stuff done. It's hard when you start a task in one tab ,switch to another tab to start another task, and when I switch back to the first tab, it hadn't completed the task, it actually paused when I left it. What's the point of multiple tabs, when only one is working at a time? I expect it to continue with the task, while I go elsewhere to complete a different task.

Hello. I need to reduce size of my email folders - specifically gmail. I am trying to delete a large series of attachments, while keeping the original email. SOMETIMES this works, but sometimes it does not, and then I am stuck! Any ideas? THanks.

after the new version of firefox update my home page which i have always had Newsmax.com does not load says problem loading page i have tried several times and it will not load. it works in Google chrome so why not in Firefox

Previously all my tabs would launch when I opened Firefox. Recently it has stopped doing so. Only one tab opens. All the other tabs I use frequently do not open. Why is this? How do I have all my tabs open when I open Firefox

My email, which was formerly with Comcast, now has Yahoo Mail as its back end. Yahoo Mail allows remote contact, and when I logon to my browser, it displays all the photos inline . In Thunderbird, it does not, and collects them as attachments at the end. I have set Thunderbird to Allow remote content ... and have no exceptions entered. I've tried different formats, including Don't allow ... with the photo stream as an exception, but that doesn't work either. The Don't allow option displayed the yellow banner etc -- on practically every email I received -- including a login to Mozilla!

I really dislike Yahoo Mail, so am hoping there's a Thunderbird solution so that I can see this email every week. Thanks, Chris

In the last month or 2, when I delete an email it does not show in the trash folder. I can wait from 5 minutes to even the next time I reboot my puter to finally see it it trash. Sometimes it sends it to the all mail or important folder instead of trash. And if I delete from there, it still takes tons of time to end up in the trash folder...if it even gets there. This seems to be getting worse by the day. I have clicked repair folder, no change, I have cleared Thunderbird's cache, no change. It's also now taking way too much time to load an email that contains a picture. This happens with at least 3 of these gmails. I'm at a loss here and extremely frustrated and about to change these gmails from imap to pop. win10 and TB is up to date. But it doesn't compact folders as much as it used to either. Any help appreciated

I'm getting Spam Emails from about 10 regular Spam Accounts and I wish to Universally Block them by adding Them to my Filtering Lists. I'm using the * Character as a Universal Place Holder for the *@*.com, *@blah.blah.ca or com. The Filter works one Time then stops working for any fresh Spam. In other words, the Filter doesn't Filter any new Spam from these Addresses. Why?

Thunderbird running 70-80% CPU with status bar showing. Once status bar is removed this drops. Have noticed some bug reports mentioned Linux but I'm on Windows 10 ESU (up to date). Updated TB to 153.0.3esr but no improvement. Tried troubleshoot mode but no improvement. Also noticed that emails aren't getting moved to the deleted folder from inbox. Checked today and none had been moved for 3 days. I deleted some of the older ones from 'Deleted' and then it did update.

Title says it all, "auto resize pictures using CTRL - + does not work". Generally speaking, the size of pictures simply WILL NOT reduce in size to view its entirety. Even when the scroll-bars are used the picture is still to wide. I have searched and asked for any setting in about_config, NOTHING! I truly expected something. The ONLY STUPID WAY to view said oversize picture is Download it then view. Isn't that a HACKERS DREAM??? YES I HAVE tried looking in SETTINGS and searched for months, found nothing that actually works. So now I have to use that 4-LETTER word... HELP!

I am trying to evaluate your product, but i cannot load the program. it appears that this product does not have technical support. If the only technical support is from a forum or community, i will look at other products. i do not know the version since i cannot load it

It is as if Firefox has disappeared from my desktop. I click on the shortcut but nothing happens. It was working fine last night. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling but still nothing. A window does not even appear.

Orange obliged me to have a new password to have an access to my mails , sending and receiving . But it does not work , and now I can only use Orange .What can I do ?

For at least a few months now, my browser will suddenly and randomly go fullscreen all by itself. I can't exit it, and then it goes back to normal after at most a minute. It hasn't happened in at least a week. But today, it froze like that, not responding. I quit firefox, waited a bit, then restarted it. It went fullscreen and froze again. I waited at least 10min and it then went back to normal and responded again. It only happens when using firefox. I've done virus scans, etc, and it still keeps happening. Please help. Thanks.

Hello, I use Thunderbird to retrieve my AOL mail. Starting today, when I start Thunderbird it retrieves the AOL mail and then after a couple minutes I get the attached popup. I am not trying to connect Thunderbird to any Google account and I don't understand why I would get a message saying to use Google to sing in to Thunderbird. Once this popup occurs Thunderbird will not connect to AOL until I close it and restart it. I do have GMail set to forward messages my AOL address but this screen has not come up before

Any thoughts?

I wanted to export my address book from my Windows10 PC, after a while I got an error message, something happened during the attempt. Since then I cannot start Thunderbird anymore. The program does not respond. So I can't find the Thunderbird version.

Hi everyone,

After a recent series of updates to both my mouse and Firefox, my mouse no longer scrolls within Firefox. The mouse is Logi wireless mouse. Firefox is the latest version. The mouse scrolls fine in other apps, like WhatsApp, Outlook, Word etc. but not in Firefox.

When I try to scroll in Firefox, it stutters, jumps and will continue to jump even when I stop scrolling on the mouse.

I have spoken to Logi and there is no issue with the mouse itself.

I have tried Troubleshoot and Private mode, but still the same issue, so its not an add-on or extension problem.

Is anyone else having this issue over the last couple of days, or have any ideas on how to get back to smooth scrolling?
