Android: when composing an email, typing in To: box only gives me contacts and not other email addresses. Other email clients will auto suggest email addresses that I have corresponded with but not added to my contacts yet.

Previous when I chose a Tag it selected the entire header and Title. Now it only insert a little Tag icon.

I need a big bright highlighted from and title like previously. Also, Now the FROM and MESSAGE TITLE re two lines. What changed? I can't see to go back.

I have a iPhone 16 and in Contacts you are given the option to add a phone type. So instead of Home or Cell you can add a custom tag such as Shop or Home2 in the event one has two home phones. The problem is Thunderbird only has Six options for Phone Type. There is no custom. If I go on iCloud and I have a phone number set a Custom and named it Shop there is not a issue as both the phone and icloud support Custom tags. How does a person add that phone number into Thunderbird since Custom Tags are not a option? I even exported my data from Thunderbird to a VCard and went into Systools Split and Merge and it does not support Custom tags either. Systools does however give a few more options than Thunderbird, but none that I am aware of are configurable. I thought VCard was supposed to be a industry standard and the same across all platforms and clients? NOT SO.

When I search for a specific email with attachments the email shows up with the attachment but I cant open it. Also What's the easiest way to add contacts from my old email to Thunderbird?

I was trying to do a search through my e-mails in Thunderbird for a specific, single word term. Thunderbird gave me a response of 284 items with my search term. When I looked through them NONE of them had the search term I was asking for. They all had portions of the search term but none of them had the full word. As I said it was a search for a single word. Is it possible to get Thunderbird to search for what I actually asked for?

Steps to reproduce:

1. Using Betterbird/Thunderbird 128.9.2esr-bb25 (64-bit), navigate to "Address Book"

2. Using "Address Book" "List display options". Type in any phone number

3. No result are display. This is the challenge. The needed end result is to search all Phone Number field for all contacts. Including any additional "Phone Number" field per contact if any. For example, but not limited to, "Phone Number 1", "Phone Number 2", "Fax Number", etc.

Using this on device 1:

• Betterbird/Thunderbird 128.9.2esr-bb25 (64-bit) from Arch Linux repository

• Arch Linux latest version

• KDE Plasma latest version

Using this on device 2:

What I tried that did not work:

• Add-on "Contact Tabs" does not support Betterbird/Thunderbird 128 at https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/contact-tabs/

I am trying to add a custom search engine of my choice for maximum efficiency, speed/privacy, etc, autonomy, preferably SwissCows.. it is a secure site to my knowledge and all references lead to it having been secure, have searched it multiple times, no problem whatsoever, however browser is having some problems with detection when I input it in settings. If any staff onboard your teams could assist, I have not yet gotten this chance to take a screenshot, but I can also do that in a soonest reply I can.. I have been using the link provided on site for the search engine of Swiss Cows (as I said it's not as well known of a site, but it's a very secure one and smaller Swiss based focused company.. and even as well as, https, privacy focused, so yeah I guess.. maybe,, focus may not detect such types of search engine format in addresses alone quite yet.

I have a question elsewhere about "trimmed" icons, but now I can't recall, or find, exactly how to add shortcut icons (to web pages) to the Focus home page. NOT to the phone Home Page, but to the page that opens when I start the browser. My current two are clipped, but I want to try adding another to see if it, too, gets clipped or not. Help wanted, please.

Pinning is not the same thing as tagging. Tagging is great, but the ability to pin messages so they always sort to the top of the list is extremely important to me. Pinned messages serve as reminders or to-do's--important things I always see first--especially in the Inbox when I launch Thunderbird.

Filtering by tags just doesn't get it as it takes extra time and clicks, and out-of-sight is out-of-mind. Pinning is a common thing and I'm sure the developers can do it. It greatly contributes to productivity and with ThunderMail coming I would think productivity would be an important issue.

Proszę o pomoc z wyszukiwarką w programie Thunderbird 128.9.2esr (64 bity). Do tej pory wyszukiwarka działała poprawnie. Teraz gdy próbuje wyszukać jakieś hasło to wyszukiwarka pokazuje mi wyniki tylko od października 2024 do marca 2005 roku a wiadomości w folderach mam od 2020 roku. W ustawieniach pole Indeksowanie wiadomości i wyszukiwanie mam zaznaczone. Próbowałem odznaczyć i uruchomić program ponownie. Uruchamiałem też Thunderbird w trybie rozwiązywania problemów. Żadne z tych działań nie rozwiązało problemu. Jak wejdę w foldery na koncie to normalnie widzę wszystkie wiadomości od 2020 roku ale wyszukiwarka nie wyszukuje w wiadomościach przed 2024 rokiem. Co dokładnie powinienem zrobić aby to naprawić? Dziękuję za pomoc Pozdrawiam Marcin

There is a folder called Important. I see not designations on the emails indicating that they are Important and I have not marked them as such. It seems that they are also in other folders. How do I untag them. Or are they deleted from the Important folder when they are deleted elsewhere or when the trash folder is emptied?

I usually search my emails using the Quick Filter function, but now when I do Thunderbird goes into "not responding" mode and it never resolves. Can anyone help me solve this issue? Have I acquired a bug? If so, what should I do? Thanks for any suggestions you have! Diane

On the "Organize your messages with filters" page, it describes how to create a filter, but doesn't describe what can be entered into the "value" field. Simple text strings are shown. Are the entries restricted to text strings, or are there special characters? Can hexadecimal values be entered?

The reason I'm asking is that I am receiving many emails where the "From:" address ends with ".za.-com". I haven't been able to get a filter to recognize that. Is the "-" (hyphen) a special or prohibited character? Is there a means of recognizing that string at the end of an email address?
