I am trying to load a page I load everyday and am receiving the following error message:

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to app.seg-social.pt. PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR

Error code: PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR

   The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
   Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

After every update, Firefox starts to a blank screen and will not start loading the webpage url put in for over twenty minutes to a half hour. During this time other browsers on my Win 10 PC load immediately so it is not a network issue. It is Firefox. When I see that an update is pending I hesitate to do the update because I know I will lose the use of Firefox until it is ready to respond. It just hangs with "loading X.com" showing at the bottom left of the blank screen. I have been using Firefox for a long time and in the past year or longer it has become very unreliable. There are also instances where without an update it will do this and the only way I can get it to work is to clear the cache and the history through settings. What is going on with Firefox! (And lately there is an update every couple fo days!

I have no idea who is going to read this, but I was in my Cell Phone companies’ site today and got an error message that Firefox would not show the bill details. Some stupid thing about other web sites and sealing my information. I needed that page and could not see so I had to use another browser (not Chrome or Edge) to get the bill to display.

I then had a coupon to print from an e-mail from my Pharmacy. Again you gave an error message but did download the coupon to where I save things.

I do not want to use Chrome or Edge as they track the S**t out of you. I have another that is laid out like Chrome but supposedly isn’t and I use that. I have to pay for that one. The main thing these browsers don’t have is the Menu Bar at the top and you cannot put it on. I use that to free up screen space that is lost the way they do things.

Can you PLEASE get things right in Firefox so I don’t have to waste my time or worse have to use this other browser I hate.

Ever since the most recent firefox update, my screensaver doesn't appear after laptop has been idle. According to the Mac Activity monitor, Firefox is blocking it. I've tried quitting Firefox and restarting, and also restarting laptop, but no solution.

Thunderbird n'arrêtait pas de demander le "nouveau mot de passe" et le rejetait constamment. Nous avons d'abord essayer de supprimer, puis ajouter le compte. Cela n'a pas marché. Nous avons désinstallé puis réinstallé Thunderbird. Puis, nous avons tenté d'ajouter le compte (avec protocole IMAP 993 SSL/TSL mot de passe normal et 465 SSL/TSL mot de passe normal). Hello, Thunderbird has interrupted the connection to a friend's Orange email account. The email address and password are correct (they allow access to the account online). Thunderbird kept asking for the ‘new password’ and constantly rejected it. We first tried deleting and then adding the account. That didn't work. We uninstalled and then reinstalled Thunderbird. Then we tried adding the account (with IMAP 993 SSL/TSL normal password and 465 SSL/TSL normal password). That didn't work. We restarted the computer each time. What can or should we do?  Only in Firefox on my windows 10 pro pc do I have to keep on signing into Homedepot.com with a security code?
 So I looked up the problem and one of the solutions (I tried a few) is to clear the old chache and cookies?
 Trying to do this.... get link after link after link.....after link.

How do you do it?

  Wish I can upload something... but can't upload what you can't find?

I am trying to use Firefox and when I click on the Icon nothing happens. I run it as Administrator and the browser open but I can not load any web pages. The only web browser that works is Duck Duck Go. Google Chrome does not work either.

Hello -I am having problems opening files in thunderbird -I keep getting '"This file does not have an app associated with it for performing his action. Please install an app or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Apps Settings page." I have uninstalled and reinstalled t/b several times but nothing works -any solutions please. I cannot even open 'help' on my desktop - I am using another computer to write this

My very favorite browser will not open when I click the FF icon. I did another download and it will not open, as well. What can you tell me about this issue and how to fix it? An avid user for many years.

I figured TB was currupt. I decided to uninstal TB. Usually TB is downloaded from the Mozilla TB site. was necessary to download TB from the microsoft store, which caused me to lose my 300 addressbook contacts and the recovery address book service would not work allthough I received the message the address book was found on the server. Again the messages were not displaying at all in the all or inbox, or important folders which gave me the idea to uninstal and reinstal. I think the program is pretty straight forward, but maybe I wasn't clear about the messages not displaying in the all or inbox folder, that may be important.

I play a video game and it has a /wiki <thing> chat command that is supposed to open my browser tab to a search result of <thing> on that games wiki website. Firefox has stopped doing this. I can not find, or figure out, what settings to change to allow this to work.

I have been trying changing cookie settings and Firefox will have a pop about it already running, but not responding. I click cancel because Firefox seems to be working fine other wise.

Does anyone have any idea what I can do?

I am subscribed to a mailing list from Wordsmith.org, and I get an email with a different word each day. See today's example below:

The email has a link to an mp3 audio file with a voice recording of the proper pronunciation. Today's word: https://wordsmith.org/words/iteroparous.mp3

The file omits the first part and says "____perous". It is not just this one instance, it is all the time, every day. Chrome also has the same fault, but Microsoft's Edge plays the mp3 completely, as it should.

Hello, all. My first post here. My problem is that: When I'm done using Firefox and close the app, several copies remain and need to be closed separately. It's a minor annoyance, but I'd like to fix it. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Since the last update its a mess. My advisors are telling me its loading slow I cannot connect with them in their chat............Chrome is fine

you have mager problems with with your fire fox system i have trouble with video links to chat but i don't have any problems using google chrome but it does not have the memory back like your site does i think it might be to do with your software updates i cant find any other logical reason for this problem

First of all, if you really want to help people, then offer phone or at least chat support -- not bots!

Second, I just uninstalled Firefox for the second time because of problems with connectivity and installing bookmarks

The first time was a problem with the bookmarks and again I had a problem, not with installing them but installing too many -- each imported bookmark installed seven times!

Also, I was having problems loading pages.

You really think people want to spend days rummaging through FAQs to find an answer? You need to provide some good support if you want to survive.
